Thanks for the info (?) but Please DONT forgrt these are patchroms.. This means : it itsnt compiled from thr sources.. They used AOSP as base from.... E. G.. Bacon device and only copy pasted the FILES not the sources.. This results in a much worse performance than a clean aosp could get

yes you can. I've tried some of them, my device is Redmi note 4x MTK

Also add the details about MIUIPro ROMs. They are releasing the weekly for all the devices including Note 4 MTK. I am using their 7.7.6 build. It has good battery timing and a lot of new settings.

The SOT is better than previous versions not great though. And I don't know what battery issues are you talking about. But the 3G SIM card Sleep issue is still there.

True.. its F***** worst rom ever ...
i have use this rom, it's verry verry lag, still based on lollipop, LOL
OK ... now I just installed the new Global Dev ROM - 7.9.15 and so far it seems much better. Speaker bug is resolved and it is much smoother than MIUI8 or previous (buggy) build. Animations are missing ... let's hope the next version re-introduces them.

I have just installed Global ROM (V9.2.6.0.NEIMIEK), it looks like there was all fine, but camera crash, it doesnt work, i have reinstalled it again with a wipe from recovery first but same error, fatal crash. I have tried OpenCamera but same problem, so i have returnet to CN ROM.
¿Could it be that Global version will have Sony IMX486 and no Samsung sensor so it crashes when try to initialitate camera app?

Anyone tried the EU beta? Is the camera same as the one from 9.2.4.0 ?? I really miss that version, since then camera gone all downhill

Not possible with out unlocking bootloader.
The redmi note 7 dual speaker mod works fine on RN8
Tested on aosp bases Rom

I tested it on Android q crdroid but for me it didn't work. Although I have Redmi note 8t instead Redmi note 8 so that may be why it doesn't work.
Flashed with stock miui rom. Doesnt work.
