Updating to 5.1.1

Hello i have 920I with android 5.0.2 rooted with pingpong root and knox not tripped.
I want to update to 5.1.1 using smartswitch, and then rooting the stock rom.
Is there a procedure on how to do this as i have been confused because each thread gives a different method.
Also would i need to flash new bootloaders modems etc... after the update.
If someone can tell me or link me the best way to get a clean install of official 5.1.1 rom and root it.
Thank you

No, the update with have the latest bootloaders etc...
I have not done it because I don't want a custom kernel on my phone. I am not aware of way to do it without tripping knox.

Flash to stock and update without PC ?

So my friend has an S6, it's the international 920f model and it's currently on a rooted 5.0.1 with TWRP flashed. I'm not really anywhere near him, and he has no PC to flash it to stock with Odin like normal. Is there anyway he can flash it all to stock on the phone itself and then being able to update to 6.0.1 via ota?

Galaxy S7 SM-G930A Android V6 G930AUCS4API2

Hi! I have flashed and engineer boot file to my S7 and it is stuck in a boot loop. I am having trouble finding the stock firmware to fix the problem. What I have found is not fixing the loop. Does anyone have the stock firmware I can use/buy to fix the problem? Can I use a different version as long as it is an AT&T variant? I cannot risk wiping the phone when i do this procedure.
Thanks!
You can't flash stock firmware without wiping.
Updato.com and sammobile.com have all the stock firmware for all model devices.
You should be able to flash any G930A or G930U firmware, except you won't be able to downgrade (i.e. you can't go from nougat to MM).

Thanks for the reply Beanvee! I'll check Updato.com. I wasn't familiar with this one. Sammobile and Samsung-firmware didn't have this firmware version. Anybody else out there have the firmware for this model?
Thanks

I flashed 7.0 on my S7. Also; it was a 930A I flashed to a 930F. Works excellently. I have Xposed as well. So the firmware can be found here in XDA.

URGENTCustom binary frplocked was on Superman Rom,unable to flash stock firmware odin

I was running on Superman rom(superstock kernel)
i tried to reboot while suddenly couldnt do so coz custom binary frp was locked.
I tried to flash stock firmware(did not download it from Sammobile and it was a nougat firmware)FAILED
Note: Rooted the phone months ago when it was on oreo
What could be the reason for the fail? is it because I tried to install a older firmware?
Please reply at the earliest
Thanks in advance!
Oreo firmware seems to be detecting custom firmware and would FRP locked the bootloader and the only way to fix it is to get to download mode and flash stock firmware with odin.

Is it possible?

Hey guys, I rootrd my phone about a week ago and installed Pie rom. However is it possible to get my previous original android and unroot my phone to be like I bought it?
Thanks!
Yes, if you download the stock firmware files from a firmware host (updato.com, sammobile.com) or from samfirmtool, then do a full flash with Odin, it will essentially be like it was factory new.
However the exception is the knox trigger, once tripped it can never be reversed.
Downgrading may require bootloader unlock and a custom version of Odin, otherwise you could flash an older firmware with TWRP to downgrade then reflash with Odin
