Samsung Message App bug - General Questions and Answers

The Samsung Messaging application has a serious error that causes other people not to receive certain sms. From what I was able to find out has to do with the division of very long sms in 2 sms having these sms emojis in the zone of division.
Examples of sms where the error occurs and people do not receive (iPhone) or receive but deformed with invalid characters (Android):???????????????????????????????????a
Other:??????????????????????????????????a?
If you send these sms through the application of Google Messages for example this error is no longer happening so the error is in my view of the Samsung Messaging application.
Anyone knows how to fix this bug? Does anyone else have this bug?
Thank you

SMS sending problem

Suddenly when trying to send a test message I get the following error message:
"Message Undeliverable. You must first subscribe to the text messaging feature through your service provider"
I've always been able to send and receive. I just returned from overseas and my TP reconfigures itself for my network , but I don't see what changes that might have made to stop SMS sending.
Any ideas what setting I need to fix?
Is this a network issue or a device issue.

[Q] Issue with Stock SMS App and Google Contact Groups

I wondered whether anyone else has seen this behaviour in the Stock SMS messaging app.
To set the scene I have a Vodafone Branded Sensation with the latest OTA applied.
When I create large text messages, so over 500 Characters which splits into 4 messages, I try and use a Google contact GROUP as the recipient. When I do this just before I click send I get the dreaded message "mms app has stop responding and needs to be forced closed".
I have no other option than to hit close, this then forces the app down and also doesn't save my mammoth message I just ticked in!!
Anybody else seen this happen, I swear it was working pre the OTA update!!??
EDIT: The same behaviour happens with Handcent SMS, which makes me think something more sinister is going on here!

4.1 Messaging error

I'm trying to send a sms in the default cm10 messaging app. After selecting a contact to send a sms to I noticed that their number is only in 7 digits above rather than 10; missing the area code. This causes a send failure because of the missing area code. Sending a message in GO SMS works fine. Anybody know of a possible fix?
edit* the contacts that had this error all had a 1 in front of the number (eg 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx). Removing the 1 fixes this error.

For SMS, can you get rid of "Unable to receive messages on the gear. Change the..."
I use Textra and when I go to Messages on the watch, I get the common message of, "Unable to receive messages on the gear. Change the messaging app to Messages". If I click "X", most of my message are there. Is there a way to stop getting that message from popping up without switching to "Messages" on my phone?
or, is there another app besides "Messages" that integrates with the watch? I just don't like Samsung Messages.
Thanks everyone. Also, I have googled this topic, just want to get people opinions on this great forum.
I would also like to know how to get rid of this message.
Also, I use Google messenger as my default messaging app. On my s2 watch, I only see my own outgoing messages. It doesn't show any incoming messages. How do I see both sides of the conversation?

Any way to send SMS msg from one side, and receive on phone where no SMS services?

Hi -
We have a situation where we can only send an SMS message to a phone number. No alternative methods like WhatsApp or the 100 other messaging apps, due to a limitation of rules and system. On the receiving end, we have someone who doesn't have SMS services in their area (overseas - UK), so they're unable to receive them. I'm not exactly sure how to word this, but is there anything that allows you to SMS a target phone number and have it be received over 4g/wifi instead of regular SMS messaging over cellular?
I looked at Google voice, but this person doesn't want to switch anything over number-wise. Is this or any other service a viable solution for this need?
Thanks in advance for any advice......
