AOKP-ANDROID OPEN KANG PROJECT
What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you'd ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they're "baked in" by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone's settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

will it work for yu5010a?
Yes it will..
Keep it up and do work and don't forget to send update's
Thank you for the ROM!
The ROM looks pretty neat and good. Doesn't look like there are much issues. I think the GPS is kinda lagging and provide not-so-accurate positioning. Will be good if you can look int it.
Overall, I am satisfied by the performance so far!! Keep up the good work!
However, would like to report a couple of things I've missed from the stock;
1. The feature to mark the messages as read right from the notification bar. Messenger in MM GApps doesn't have this feature.
2. The Dialer from CM12/12.1 stock which had the Truecaller and the call recorder integrated withing it.
Well I compiled this long back ago..I have made note than 10 ROMs for lettuce till now which are there in Yu-Forums..Do check them..
It's support VoLTE?
If no then what to do for support VoLTE?
64 Bit ROMs for Yuphoria doesn't support VOLTE..
Use 32 Bits ROM like MIUI for VOLTE..
How can I turn on volte pls help me ??

BUGS:-Same as CM13
THANKS: CyanogenMod and AOKP team
Source: https://github.com/aokp
& https://github.com/CyanogenMod
Great
I've been wanting a new ROM. I had forgone picking any MM ROMS because of the bugs and the fact that they all are based on CM. CM is ok but not great. Seeing a marshmallow ROM that is not based on CM is so refreshing. I will definitely try it out. Thanks for making this.
Edit: ROM booted yay.
Ok so the ROM is still CM based which is kind of disappointing. I was hoping this was purely AOKP. Then I noticed that you gave thanks to the CM devs so I knew something was off. I then saw the CM apps which are great and all but that just means the ROM is CM based. I am sure this is a great ROM and thanks for building it. The AOKP customizations are always welcomed but since CM MM ROMS have GPS problems I can't really use this ROM as my daily driver.
