After a repair of the camera module i finally got back the Mate 9 chinese version (MHA-AL00C00B213). Since it was reset, i wanted to install the GMS core package in order to be able to use the normal google play store in europe. But i can't find it anymore in the HiApp store, i can install the play store but while trying to start it, i'll get an error message that i need the core package for this app to work.
Anyone could provide me with the apk or know anything about the missing GMS app? I thought it was the (semi-)official way from Huawei in order to be able to use the official google play store...
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yeah, the gmail error resolved itself after some time. Be sure to install contact sync and everything else too...

I would just like to let everyone know GMS Core has been added in the latest update for my Huawei Mate 9 Pro. (LON-AL00C00B225) This should fix the problem I and others were having with being unable to uninstall google vr services, as the gms core app (I got my version from qt6)is no longer required in the first place.

I found that an firmware update form HiCare App that include a GMS Core in the firmware which fixes the problem.
Anyone know how to make the google play store work for huawei nova2s? apparrently it was only sold in china, i didnt know this when i bought it as i was in china for holidays. Now i can't access the play store and I am back in a country that has youtibe and stuff but i have read articles that help the huawei nova2 and that made it so that the google play store opened but it wouldn't respond. I have installed Google Play Services and Google Play Store and Google Services Framework and can't find any help on making the play store work T^T. I am currently installing the GMS Core in hopes that it works

Google is not "officially" authorized for the Chinese variant, GMS core is not available as an apk file as it is compiled right into the ROM itself and is a privileged app. You might be able to find a hacked apk somewhere but it probably won't work as it is a system app

I tried reinstalling the apk for gms pack and i did but the google app store is not opening even after installing the google play services apk...

Thanks. Found it. I did it earlier and i was about to enter and thank gm.
I had to delete every google app then install the gms then reinstall each app including the app store which worked.

I found the APK for play services online with a little search so i installed it but then my google play still not work until i found the GMS pack on hiapp.
By the way, 2 additional questions:
-My google now voice is not working although i followed the steps to activate it as usual..
-Notifications dont work unless the apps are opened. I thought with B175 update it was supposed to have been fixed. It was fixed for me for a while but now neither whatsapp nor telegram send notifications unless apps are open.

I believe there are 2 versions that can be purchased at the moment. TA-100 which I believe is the Chinese version with no stock Android and no play store. And there is the TA-1003 version which is the one I have with play store.i bought mine off eBay.

I'm in the states side and unfortunately no LTE for me sadly. I get 3G/HSPA+ which has been pretty good on my end never really noticed that I don't have LTE. everything still connects and runs smooth browsing the web,YouTube and Pandora.

Thanks mate, tried it out but still keeps crashing. Apparently the GApps killer is hidden somewhere in the Chinese rom. Guess we just have to wait till the global rom is available. Thanks though :good:

Anyone can install and make it run on the Nubia X chinese version? I've used google installer but after install, open Play Store just got black white screen and stay there forever.
Does it require rooted?
As of right now all that works is gplayspace (go to Google on the nubia browser then search for gplayspace) click the green icon and it will install it on your phone then click it allow everything and once you see the 3bars on top get to 100% click the google play icon and you login through that
I bought mine in liaow.com store. They told google apps can work just via "sandbox". They sent it already installed. I'm waiting to receive the box next week

You don't own a Nubia X, don't you? And you have NO clue about rooting. "mtk droid tools" for rooting a Snapdragon based phone?
To root the Nubia X you need the boot.img which can be extracted from official firmware. Then you'll need a SPECIAL version of magisk to patch this boot and flash it via fastboot. After that, you are STILL facing BIG difficulties to install Google framework, because Nubia does not support it and won't in the future (of the Nubia X). There is NO TWRP atm, no custom rom, no working play store on the X.
The Nubia X is NOT supposed to be used outside of China with Google and afaik it'll never be.

I am afraid, but you know "nothing".
Magisk can only root something, IF it supports that device. Magisk does NOT support Nubia X atm. Cobalt Play Store is intended to work on BLACKBERRY OS.
a) Nubia does not support Google at all
b) Nubia (ZTE) actively "BLOCKS" use of Google framework. So "Google Installer" is not working.
You have to get rooted and do some MAJOR digging in the firmware, to get Google working properly.
So again: IF you need Google, AVOID Nubia X!

Impossible without root
So far as i know, unlike other Chinese mobile makers, google service cannot be installed on ZTE mobiles unfortunately without root.
Just give proof that you have google play store on nubia x. We want solution to this issue, not something to argue about.

When Google login i didn't proceed to install last 2 files which are Mod1and Mod2 for play services. because i kept receiving play services notifications errors so i install the 3rd file again. And play services notifications disappear forever. Yes, I am using it now. But it took me almost 5-6 tries to work for me. I uses LZ method but for google account manager took file from above mentioned youtube link, and then after GSF i installed 3rd file. which worked for me.

around one week before. means after .159 update. I downgraded to .131 then do it, then update again.
