Flashing Instructions:

Bugs I have found:
- YouTube login doesn't work, just error
- Google Contact Sync force closing.
- Google Play Games can't be installed via Google Play Store (manual installation with apk works.)
- ROM's SystemUI shows carrier as 'unknown', but Settings shows right carrier name
(Almost all bugs are related to GApps)

well i try to install from N and the phone wont go past google logo
so i flash 6.0.1 and then flyme, works, but now i have a lot of bugs, come back to N, when is more stable i will try again :highfive:

This is a common problem on a number of ROMs/devices. Just download an older apk of the Play Games, and it installs fine. Then the Play Store will update it with no issues.
The Google Calendar also sometimes exhibits this behavior. The same steps apply.

Yes, this ROM flashes using fastboot and including bootloader, radio, vendor, system, boot, recovery (twrp)!

Very smooth ROM. Seems stable so far. Some of the English translations around the ROM seem to be off and the Themes app doesn't seem to work (would really like to change the icons) but other than that, this is very nice. Xtrememusic mod is also confirmed to be working fine if anyone is wondering.

How to activated root on this rom?
I'm on a stock lollipop rom now, installed it to make a clean install of LOS14. But what I have whanted to say Is that after month of using previous released flyme 6, I can confirm that stock Sens rom works much faster.

Thanks bro.
I found a bug.
I can not send audio via whatsapp. When I start recording, it appears as if I am canceling the recording.
I have already installed the rom twice and so far it has not worked.
I already installed another version of whatsapp and it did not work.

Yeah I can confirm this isn't working, I got a unable to mount message in TWRP but I wasn't able to take a picture, anybody else getting that ?

Did it auto prompted for permissions? Like storage, mic, camera, etc.?

I did check the app permissions, everything is enabled. It didn't ask me persay but I double checked it to make sure it had permissions to use the mic

Flashing Tutorial:

I just wanted to say that I'm loving the interface. My only issue so far is that when I try to install gapps, the setup wizard fails. I used the nano installation from opengapps. Is there a specific version I'm supposed to use?
Nevermind. I figured it out.
So far, I think the only major complaint I have bout this rom is that it does not pass SafetyNet. After flashing magisk, I was able to pass SafetyNet using this rom.
i did a wipe before install, and im still waiting at boot screen its been 40 minutes. should i be waiting this long?

Not really i tried this rom the first boot took around 10 mins...And it was good but the problem is that google play is not available even the gapps are not compatible with this rom.... That's why I went back to leedroid
I installed the pico installation from OpenGapps. Was able to get the play store properly installed. Magisk works on this rom. I needed to pass safetynet for some apps that I use. After using this custom rom for a bit longer, my phone seems slower. Went back to LeeDroid, ICE, and Lineage and those roms seemed more responsive.

Flashing Instruction
Always Have a full functional Backup. Just in case!
First time installing crDroid to your Redmi Note 4, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery ( TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
You need to flash GApps every-time you flash the ROM.
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

Very good ROM! Best 8.1 i've tried! Every thing works fine for me. Root with magisk, instal viperfx... UI is really good (I love the wite and blue style!) thank you very mutch!
Nice to see crdroid oreo. Lots of bugs as expected since this is a beta -
1. No settings for hardware button
2. Phone bootloops if you edit QS tiles.
3. Faced 1 network reset.
Excited to see this ROM being maintained as well as the Nougat build!

bro did you face any password problem on bootup... any fix for that...i dont want to format everything ?
Does this rom lags when phone wakes up from many hours of inactivity and opens data or wifi ?

bro please understand the things. u have encrypted ur phone, thats why it is asking password for every boot. the only fix is to completely format ur device. and to avoid encryption in future always make sure that u r not setting password at the setup wizard time.
make sure u transfered the necessary files to an external drive before going for complete format.
