I have done this, but I can not install any Apps, like Facebook, Viber, Messenger, ... I have check the permission for all of them, Even the Camera apps does not work, I can only make calls

When I do this bit (-Make a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik) I get this error
E- mount -o bind '/data/media/0' '/sdcard' process ended with ERROR=255
Any idea what it means?
However I did
1. Download the ROM and GApps of your choice
2. Backup each and every partition from TWRP Recovery
3. Make a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik)
4. Flash AEX Package (AospExtended-v4.2-aio_otfp-20170604-0730-OFFICIAL.zip)
5. Now Reboot the system and do some adjust and check [I check everything worked fine, setup the WiFi and some basic things]
6. Then Reboot to return to TWRP
7. Install GAPPS package, This one for K3 Note (open_gapps-arm64-7.1-mini-20170607.zip), all went well
8. Wipe cache & daivik
9. At last Reboot!
I enjoy the new K3 and thank you for your help. I have installed many apps and all working fine. Making calls and receiving calls, testing camera. Thank you guys for making this available.

Custom Ringtones - install Es File Explorer that allows you to select custom Ringtones
Dolby Sound - search for "dap_6.5.1" there is a post in XDA

A Huge shoutout to @Njishi for testing the ROM! Not having the device myself, he is the one who helped me out with everything!
So. The bugs(Present in LOS 14.1) are:-
1). Device force reboots after setting first fingerprint, no matter when.
2). Force reboot after toggling airplane mode (occasionally)(2/3 times)
3). Force reboot after soft reboot!
4). Flashlight works (1/2 times of total attempts).
5). Video recording force closes with stock camera application. You can use 3rd party apps (Open Camera working).
Fixed:-
1). VoLTE working.
2). Hotspot working.
3). Screen recorder working (Du recorder) (Az screen recorder still not working).
4). 4K videos 60Fps playing.

I have just flashed the ROM but i cant find option to disable hardware buttons. You can only enable software buttons.

I have encountered a weird problem ..wheneven we try to unlock the phone via fingerprint scanner if it fails to match the fingerprint then it will not look for further prints ...so we have to match the prints in one go otherwise we cannot unlock the phone via fp scanner...
Is this attached screen shot from AOSP Extended, if yes then how to get the same in our phone.
Becoz i have install the AOSP Extended but i have not found this type of incall ui in our ROM.

remove fingerprints, then clear cache, dalvik cache reboot and reconfinger.

You have to install either stock or some gapps package with Google contacts app, phone dialer and phone call ui. You can use Gapps based on 7.1.1. arm 64 stock version. It will give you a feel of having a pixel.

Yes, there are a lot of underhood changes that require you to flash this firmware patch it contains hex edited firmware files which are inline to the kernel changes, So to make the things good to go just flash the firmware patch and forget its onetime procedure after flashing this patch you dont need to flash this same patch again and again So just Flash and Forget

I want to notice that this ROM has flashlight bug and has Bluetooth Bug....
Flashlight Bug :
Flashlight is absent in quick setting. But can be enable by enable the option in power menu for flashlight... See screenshot next to post
Bluetooth Bug :
That when we have to send file to other Android devices, then file getting successfully send to another device. While when we to receive file via Bluetooth From same Android Device then file automatically declined to receive by system.
On the other hand, i have successfully made Bluetooth tethering connection with same device and it works nice....hope it will fix.

Ok Google doesn't work in any screen as well. Nfc cannot be turned off or on.
Other then those issues, ROM is superb.

Is good for daily use? service google works fine?
For me so far so good but after install substratum google app crashed,, I uninstall substratum overlays and still google apo crash!? Make wipe dalvik cache and again crashed, how to fix? Thx

TheMuppets are the proprietary files from your device, they are always up to date. instead of pulling them from your device, is easier using the on our .repo on local_manifest.xml or wherever is easier for you to sync them on every compilation.

Camera app doesn't save video. There is no way to record video and share with Telegram\Viber\WhattsApp. Is that possible to release small fix for that bug?

I tried in maybe 1 hour. very nice build dude.
The advanced reboot is works flawlessly, recent button, OMS themes, and also the video recording is works (except in other apps like whatsapp).
Fingerprint ? like The Flash running central city lol.
Btw I'm using nougat firmware before,
But I don't know why, i think the network finder is slow, it takes 4-5 minutes after boot-up before it get the network signal.
Also I got force close popup from Equalizer sometimes while playing music.
Apart from that, it's very nice rom for me (basically I'm using aex as my daily in my kenzo) :good:

Okay so the video does not save using stock camera and google camera crashes. But you can use footej Camera works flawless. The rom is smooth. All AOSP roms are better at performance than lineage based roms for some reason. VOLTE works. Will use it as my daily driver now.

Can't make it work
Hi! I trying to install this ROM on my tablet with TWRP and can't seem to make it work.
I followed the instructions:
I wiped (dalvik/art cache, data, cache and system) first
then went to Install and found my image and installed it (selected system image partition to flash - I have to say it went kinda fast not sure if it should, but did not error out)
now I went on to install gapps and here I encounter my first problem: it failed saying that GApps pkg is only for Android 9.0.x ONLY | Please download the correct version for your ROM: 8.1.0 (SDK 27) and exited with Error Code: 20 (now I'm starting to think that it did not install the ROM correctly in the previous step)
I try to reboot the system then and I get prompted with a message saying that No OS Installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot? (which is kinda weird)
after reboot it goes to fastboot and stays there
I am able to restore to a previous backup that I've made, but I really want to install this custom ROM.
Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong and point me in the right direction?

I think I found the root cause of my problems.
Because I'm a noob in regards to custom ROMs I thought I had to unpack the archive AOSPExtended and just get the boot.img from there and install it.
So after figuring this out I just copied the whole archive on my device went to Install on TWRP, selected the archive and everything went all right, even Gapps installed correctly.

This is not GSI image, what you installed?
You don't need to flash it via install image just flash zip file and gapps. it will work

Hi thanks for your work. I love this ROM on my X2 Leeco The max 2, and I will test it on my mi pad 4.
Just two questions:
1 / AEX for MI PAD 4, will she soon have an official status?
2 / Are the following options available in AEX mi pad 4 ?
DT2W to wake the screen / raise the mid pad 4 to wake the screen

Hi everything works perfectly with the last build. Good battery. no lag ... everything is perfect ..
I just noticed a bug. In AEX extensions, \ Recent, the recent application display type is stuck on Oreo .. and even if the Pie display is chosen. Recent tasks / applications always appear as Oreo.
