Is there an app that allows you to set the volume control (media volume) by app?
My problem is media volume is turned up for listening through my headphones but when I switch to my CCTV the volume is then at full blast coming out of the phones speakers!!

With the stock HTC headset you can't control the volume as there are no volume buttons. I was wondering if there exists an app that can control the volume by holding for example one of the headset buttons.
For Android I found an app (Headset Volume Control made by Androidpublisher), does this also exsis for Windows Mobile?
Is there a way to get the buttons to only adjust media volume. Now it's always calling volume and only when playing media it will switch to media volume.
I like it to always be media volume, bcs I'm always on vibrating
thnx in advance
Is it possible to make the volume rocker *only* control the media volume? I keep my phone on vibrate, so I never need to change the ringer volume, but I find myself accidentally adjusting it fairly often when I want to change the media volume. I'm running rooted stock 4.1.1, and I do not want any widget solutions. Is there anything I can do?
I thought media volume was only able to be adjusted while media is playing and through the sounds section in settings. Only time notification volume gets adjusted is when media isn't playing.
Every time I play music through Bluetooth in my car the bluetooth volume always default at zero. I have to take my phone out of my pocket to up the volume every time. I tried app such as Bluetooth Volume and A2DP Volume to change the default volume but they didn't work. I'm using Poweramp. If I'm using Pandora then it doesn't matter if the volume is at zero, the bluetooth volume is still high and play fine.
Hi All,
Volume Media Control allows you to control the media volume instead of ringer volume when you press the volume buttons.
This app aims to fix an annoying issue with Android where volume controls act differently depending on if media is being played or not. For example, when you are using Netflix, the volume control should adjust media volume and not the ringer volume.
Volume Media Control allows you to specify apps for which the volume controls will always result in adjusting media volume and not the ringer volume.
Volume Media Control makes use of accessibility service to control volume button behaviour. No other data is stored or transmitted. Volume Media Control doesn't require any permission and the app is open source and available on Github.
