Then i managed to root it and downloaded SuperSu.zip and I tried to boot into recovery but it wont boot to there it stays at oneplus logo and dont do enything but when i turn it off and boot normally or fast boot it boots normally. I tried to install it again but it doesn't help. Tried to boot with ADB to recovery: dont work. And now i have hydrogen os 2.0.0 (android 6.0.1 ) and before i upgaded to that i have andoid 5.1. I have a Honor 6 Plus PE-TL10 running Android M. i bought the phone from Japan so probably the stock OS was Lollipop chinese or Japanese variant (not sure). Since there was no upgrade available to marshmallow in original OS I downloaded Indian upgrade file and locally upgraded my phone to Android M india. The phone was running smooth and fine for almost one year but wasnt rooted. So i flashed TWRP 3.0.2 successfully and then tried to flash SuperSU.zip meant for my phone but it failed and phone got stuck in bootloop. Then with no option left i tried to flash stock rom by extracting System, Boot, Recovery.zip from upgrade folder using huawei upgrade extractor and flashing through fastboot. The flash failed and now it just gets stuck on huawei logo right before the booting starts. So I think it aint even on bootloop. Its probably bricked. I cant enter into fastboot or recovery as its not taking any volume+Power key commands. I waited so that the battery drains out and i charged again but still nothing changed. The service center refused to fix it as it is not bought in India.
P.S i think the flash failed cause i tried to flash Indian Rom instead of original Chinese?Japanese?what-so-ever Rom.
Please help. What shall i do?
Thanks
Hello everybody,
I am currently in china and bought a new Oneplus 6 there. Unfortunately it comes with HydrogenOS installed here in China. I unlooked the bootloader without problems.
For installing the TWRP recovery i used this guide (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76635744&postcount=148).
However after i flashed the recovery (there where no error messages in the command promt), I tried to boot into the recovery. But now it seems that the TWRP Recovery is stuck... It stays at the boot screen. (even after a wait of 15 mins)
Is this guide not correct for a H2-OS Oneplus 6? What can I do now? I would be happy about every help i can get
Thank You!
It's not for HydrogenOS, coz now recovery is part of boot.img so when you flash it you brick your hydrogen .
You should flash the last official oxygen with fastboot after a wipe and then restart from scratch with OxygenOS
There is a topic with that ROM...
My phone does not recover from boot loop.
My phone is Mi Note 2 (ROM is i think custom, saw Pixel 8.1 something on the about phone), TWRP already installed, no update system is found on the about phone, rooted and unlocked (i found out it was only 50% and did not proceed further) i unlocked with find my device off and i am from Philippines.
I have tried a recovery ROM (global/stable ROM from MIUI website) using TWRP but after following the process and install the ROM zip and lazy flasher zip it said No OS installed so i proceed with reboot and stuck up in Mi LOGO.
Then i tried restore the back up but it also stuck in Google LOGO (G) and did not go thru.
Today I tried to fastboot using a fast ROM and mi flash tool and after clicking flash (says success and done), it did not reboot and still in fast boot mode. I tried to on/off using the button and still stuck up in Mi LOGO.
HELP me, what should i do next.
Phone is 6gb/128gb
Hi guys, i need your help!
i will try to explain the situation at my best.
A couple of days ago i decided to go back from a custom ROM to the Stock one via TWRP flash and i ended up with a soft brick, later i managed to flash the stock rom with SP Flash tool.
Yesterday i tried to get ROOT access on the fresh installed stock rom and considering that i wasn't able to get ADB and Fastboot to work properly on my pc (at the time) i used King Root, after that i tried to install TWRP through the official app, the result was not successful (the problem was the locked bootloader) and i found myself without recovery (neither TWRP or Stock).
Here comes the last part (the tricky one)
after all this mess I managed to get ADB and Fastboot to work and i obviously tried to unlock the bootloader, unfortunatly i hit "boot to recovery" and now i'm stuck with a boot loop with no recovery.
if i try to get to fastboot with Vol down+Power the phone shows the LeEco Logo and then the screen shuts down.
Sp Flash tools doesn't work either.
Any possible solution?
The thing u got wrong is that... U should have flashed twrp on either eui 5.8.17s or 5.8.19s...
Don't flash it on 14s or lower eui version ... It might get stuck on bootloop
So I flashed Resseruction Remix OS using TWRP, and the device failed to boot up. So I flashed the stock ROM, and it's still stuck on the boot logo. Frustrated, I decided to restore the backup I had already created with TWRP, even after it finished restoring the backup, the device won't boot past the logo. Ugh. I tried flashing another custom ROM -- Lineage OS, and it didn't resolve the problem either.
I still have access to the fastboot mode, as well as the TWRP recovery. Any ideas how I can go about fixing this?
Hello,
I think I have the same problem...
