Which model - Huawei Mate 9 Questions & Answers

Hi I am in USA with AT&T. I am curious which model is best for unlock bootloader and flash latest ROM?

The procedure to unlock bootloader is the same on all versions, same with flashing.

I'm not sure if I have TMOBILE, Because on the device itself you can see the name: "HTC" and not "TMOBILE", But when I turn on the device, you can see in the screen "TMOBILE" (Maybe it's just TMOBILE's Rom ?)

What is a "fullwipe" ?
And I want to flash it because I want to have a better battery life
But can I back to the original Rom (If Necessary)?

Fullwipe= wipe data/factory reset in recovery, it wipes all app's and setting's and allows you a clean install.
You can always go back to stock by flashing the stock recovery, relocking the bootloader and flashing a RUU

I think you're getting into something too complicated for you
Root, put a recovery or install a rom is simple only if you have some basics and more than basics (imho).
If you know someone (an android geek to be exact lol ) who can help you, it should be better

Use this one to unlock the bootloader, to put a CWM and permroot : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1604677
More easy for a beginner I guess ? :fingers-crossed:
Flashing a ROM is the easiest part after that :good:
EDIT : Are you sure that you have a Snapdradon S4 ? And not a S3 ?

Install roms on verizon version

Now that we have s-off, can we use the roms now or do we have to wait for the verizon ports. I am not sure if our kernel is different then the other carriers.

would love to know this as well.
I really want to install an international rom to get lte working
you must wait for a Verizon version of any custom rom. other carrier/ international roms will not work.

yah, i'm just seeing that.. not really sure how that works if the kernels are different...
Please do NOT flash ANY ROM not specifically in this Verizon thread unless the ROM states that it is working on Verizon..
Even though they are the same phone, the partitions are different.
What this means is you could end up with some serious problems.
For example, you could be flashing the boot.img to the system partition.. not good

Good point. Would you think the work involved in porting other devices ROMs over to the VZW version would be minimal at least?
I wouldn't imagine it's too difficult but why risk it when we'll probably have something legit to flash by mid week?

MoKee ROM for HTC one A9

Dear HTC one A9 users , I came across these roms in MoKee site and thought of sharing it.
One A9 (GSM Intl) (hiaeuhl) : http://download.mokeedev.com/?device=hiaeuhl
One A9 (GSM US) (hiaeul) : http://download.mokeedev.com/?device=hiaeul
Here is a youtube video of the rom in action

I haven't tried it yet and hence don't know what are the bugs in it. Try it on your own risk . I share here as I believe it will help some one who looks for custom roms.

I will take the risk to try it on a Sprint device.
I have S-Off and SuperCID. I am also changing MID to US unlocked and flashing US unlocked RUU.exe
Wish me luck. :fingers-crossed:
I will update later in the day.

I wish you mad luck man!! I'm still quite fresh when it comes to this area so it'd be a lot longer for the turnaround on my end lol......i'll look forward to your results. I feel like this shouldn't be so hard...i mean the only difference is what network is used. I can see porting a rom from a different handset altogether to ours being a real pain. Maybe someone can clue me in on why it isn't as simple as removing/editing/adding cdma specific files, editing properties in necessary documents plus flashing proper radios/modems?
how to install?
