Android Pay / Canada / OPO / custom OS (LineageOS) - does yours work? - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Android Pay sets up nicely, but taping the terminal won't do nothing... You guys got it working?!
FYI, I'm running Magisk, so SafetyNet passes.

Google Pay not working in shops despite Magisk fully updated and SafetyNet passed

Hi all, sometime last week Google Pay stopped working for me with a "Can't pay in shops on this phone" error. I updated Google Pay to the latest version 2.85.239456103, Magisk to 18.1 and Magisk Manager to version 7.1.1. Running Magisk Manager and tapping on "SafetyNet Check" passes the test, however Google Pay still doesn't work. Is there a fix for this? I've got a SM-G955F with Android 8.0.0, but can't remember if it's the original ROM or a modified one, but it's pretty old, about a year old now.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Kdrag0n's CtaProfile fix on Android 12?

Just rooted my Pixel 4a w/ Magisk, on Android 12 DP3. The CtsProfile check is failing, even w/ Magisk hide enabled. I found this fix (https://github.com/kdrag0n/safetynet-fix), but I'm not sure if it'll work on Android 12.

Chase banking app fingerprint login won't enable

Is anyone else having this issue. Started yesterday for me after years of being rooted without fail. Is there a Google Services update that now runs root check for fingerprint login?
Same here did you get it to work?
Same on my OP 8 pro, Magisk hide, reboot and reinstalling etc didn't work either
Ok, I thought I was going crazy, I have the same problem since last couple of updates... Anybody figured out how to fix it? Maybe an older version of chase mobile?
The new chase app update fix the fingerprint started to work again i got root with magisk and edxposed instaled.try to update the app
Doesn't work for me with app version 4.262 (updated December 15, 2021).
Moto G7 Play (channel), LineageOS 18.1 20211226-NIGHTLY, Magisk v23.0.
As far as I can tell, fingerprint login is the only thing that doesn't work. edit: Quick view balances also does not work.
Just for comparison, everything works with the Bank of America app, including fingerprint login.
I had fingerprint working with root by installing older version and then updating but now I can't get it to work anymore.
Can anyone confirm whether the fingerprint works without root (but with bootloader unlocked and custom ROM installed)?
I'm seeing this issue still in Feb 2022. Rest of app works. Funny how whatever it detects isn't reason enough to block access, just block fingerprint.

Yes. I just reset my device and reinstalled LineageOS. The fingerprint worked. I then flashed Magisk (and enabled Hide for the Chase app), and the fingerprint continues to work. It seems you just need to set it up *before* rooting.

My internet isn't working on my POCO X3, since I rooted it.

Greetings. I come here in this community to ask for your help with a problem I'm facing on my device.
I recently made some modifications to my cell phone, a POCO X3 NFC (surya), that includes the installation of a custom rom, root and all the other subsequent processes, that includes the unlocking of the bootloader, installing a custom recovery, etc.
Since I made these changes (last sunday, 16), my phone is having connection problems. I'm abble to connect to the wi-fi network, but when I do, the cell phone says that the network doesn't have access to the internet. Also, the internet keeps disconnecting and connecting automatically, even when the connection appears to be normal.
Another thing that is bothering me is the ms in online games. In CoD Mobile, the ms doesn't gets smaller than 50ms, even when the internet is fast (normaly I use to get about 10ms), not to mention the connection errors that happens all the time in CoD:M.
Some usefull informations:
- This problem is only happening on my cellphone, since my parents cellphone and my computer are using the internet without any problem.
- My internet provider isn't that big (here in Brazil, we use to have some local providers that offers fiber optic internet)
- I have 2 internet's of differents providers; the internet from the local provider has 2 networks (one in 2.4GHz e another one 5GHz) and the other one is from Vivo (a famous internet provider here in Brazil) and only have one network (in 2.4GHz).
- Vivo's internet works in my cellphone without any problem, but it is SOOOO slow.
Informations about the device:
- My cellphone is a POCO X3 NFC (surya)
- The first rom that I've installed was the HAVOC OS 4.12 (Android 11), in a version that already had the Open GApps with the rom. With about 1 day using this rom, I migrated to Arrow OS 12.0 (Android 12), in a version tha already had the Open GApps too.
- The recovery that I used was the OrangeFox
- I rooted via Magisk
- I couldn't hide Magisk app because of some failure, but I installed everything that it was necessary to bypass the SafetyNet verification, and it is working.
Overall, that's it. I am available to answer any questions in case anyone has not understood something, and I'm sorry for my bad english, i'm still learning to speak english
Thanks

even if both custom roms are on the same version, never never never, migrate on to another.
the best way is to do a clean install.
so it's better you start all over again with ArrowOS 12 , but with clean install

if everything goes ok, and following directions step-by-step , there is never "a some failure" while installing/using Magisk. That means that my previous statement is correct. Clean Install of ArrowOS 12.
and last but not least!
many modem/router, because of misconfiguration have problem using BOTH channels: 2.4 & 5 band. It's not always the target the problem but sometimes is the source too. So to have a test of what I am saying, use an all of your devices only 2.4 band and switch off your router's 5 band.
Did you try updating your firmware?

Has anyone been able to get safetynet check to pass?

Hi All, I've got the latest build of Android 11 (december) and Magisk v23 installed, and I fail all the attestation safetynet checks including basicintegrity. Has anyone gotten this to work? I do have root which is working just fine. My problem is I can't use one of my banking apps. Ironically it was working on an older version of Magisk, but hasn't since I updated.
