The drawbacks is that it has no FM radio app, and is quite slow when clocked at safe (default) frequencies of processor

Drawbacks is OTA Not working
Use stock rom otherwise every stock rom is infected with issues, use cm14.1 otherwise, it got android 7.1 and have lots of features.... By no name (you can search for it on xda), I'm using it too only problem is screen recording

If you dont want to flash rom's again and again go with cm 11 latest buil from jenkins server. coz every ROM has Some bugs. but cm11 is far better than any other ROM.
and this qstn is not allowed in XDA forum try ROM's by yourself and share your experience in respected forums. ^-^
It's said that if you wanted the experience of the row form of android then use cyanogenmod roms, and that cm12.1 is the best of them..
It's also said that if you wanted alot of themes and good looking rom then use something like miui, our phone doesn't have but miui 7 (based on cm11 rom) and that's the rom i prefere the most..
but sadly there's few bugs on this rom:
1-broken video playback, and that's what bothers me, you cant play videos with any app including the youtube app, but there's some apps.that could play videos in this rom like uc browser, use it to watch youtube or any online video, and vlc for any local video. note that mx player doesnt work and mi video, and videos on facebook app.. :/
2-only one sim works.. and i've no problem with that because i only have one sim -.-
3- in home screen there row you cant touch.. (i'll put a picture of it in the attachment).. so yo fix it, close two fingers together to adjust your homepage, you'll see (move app) option press it and move the apps to someehere else in the homepage, the row above it is ok
.. and that's it
i know that this rom needs work to fix those bugs but still, this the best rom you can find.

The best rom you can find for duos 2 is resurrection remix. It is amazing and has a lot of tweak's and features. It has almost no bugs and is fast. I have been using it for the past 1 year without any problems. Only the screen recorder is not working. But that is not much of a problem. The android version is 6.0.1 marshmallow. It has a lot of customization which is really fun. So u can give it a try. I will post ss later.
every custom rom is best.. but it depends on user..
some want themes.. some want battery.. some want performance.. some daily driver.. some all of these
best rom is less buggy.. uses ur heavily used apps lag free.. idle battery life 5 hrs.. etc.. etc..
my opinion use stock.. root it.. remove bloatware.. tweak it..

but the real question is will it be compatible , because i know how difficult it was to get LP update for s advance , lots of bugs at starting . whatsapp picture not sending , then wifi bug , video bug etc. . and it took alot of work to get them sorted out . In my opinion it could be possible but its gonna take a lot of resources and time.

@rudra75 LOL! Thanks for sharing your thought .Since no one who interested to working MM for our Janice except ( @Epirex thank you) , I thought it's imposibble to boot Android N on our Janice but let us hope we will
well said rudra , everything is possible with dedication anyhow i just wish this phone could get a decent and stable rom since last 2 android versions weren`t that stable with janice [ S advance ] i.e LOLIPOP and MARSHMALLOW . :cyclops:
Somebody said janice "impossible" to boot since KitKat but miracle keep showing. I still hope someone continue to define as "i'm possible" for Nougat.
As DaksAnkit said, we really need "Stable" MM for the momment. If SergeyL keep on helping Epirex, I believe we will have stable CM13 soon.

Yea , these guys are working real hard for a stable ROM epirex ahs announced a new build later this week with some issues fixed , and furthermore he is not going to stop just at MM i am sure he will try porting android N to janice . :good:

Flash and try for yourself. Most all can be a daily driver. You have to decide for yourself.
I'm using DU from January & never get a single force close. Yes it has less customization then other Roms but most stable.

U could have checked that .... In my opinion Pure Nexus Osprey is the Best cz it gives u the stock nexus Experience and it Also smooth and fast with good battery back , no FC and Good point about this rom That it has lot of options for customisations . I tried VOLTE patch for Oreo roms but its of no use for me . :crying:
Any suggestions guys or shall i remain in N for time being :silly:

If you have to make lot of call using VOLTE it is better to stay with nougat ROMs . Volte bug is found in most Oreo ROMs . may be by December we will hopefully get stable releases, till then hang on with nougat . I am also waiting for stable Oreo ROMs.

If u love oreo rom then go with AOSP rom and install VoLTE patch which u will find on 2nd page of thread. Yes some bug is there camera and SD card issue. If u adjust with this then no problem. Yes currently oreo rom have sub bug, so u need to comprimise some features.
