Hello guys!
I Have a Xperia Z3 D6643 with TV branded from VIVO and i want to flash a customized PT firmware from the D6603 (It's the same config but without TV). I Installed the flashtool and the drivers related with the Z3 mobile from the drivers folder. I am using windows 8.1 when trying to flash i get this error:

And then stops flashing. Do anyone know what is happening and how to solve?
BTW: I correctly installed drivers by disabling the signature checker on windows.

I think because your device is other version. True I don't know.

I can't tell you if it's possible to flash the 6603 ROM on that.
Anyways, it might be that the ROM file you downloaded is corrupt, DL it again.
And you posted in the wrong section, this is not for questions.

I'm new and I have heard good reviews about this site. I hope you could help me with my problem. I managed to buy an Xperia XZ So-01J model locked to NTT Docomo then got it unlocked thru a code. I need to flash it to a generic stock rom but I keep getting the partition.sin error and soft bricking my device in the process. If I tick partition.sin in the "exclude" category, a new error comes up again from the .sin files. Am I missing something here? I'm new to the whole Xperia game but I got a little knowledge about it epecially with Flashtool. I used to be a Samsung user and have never encountered something like this flashing roms using odin and a custom recovery.

Dear are you using latest xperia flashtool which use fsc script. I think you are using old flashtool. Also check drivers are cirrectly installed. Signature verification should be off in window.

Welcome dear.
Use 0.9.23.2 if possible. Put off the signature verification in window. Turn off antivirus. Dont plug any other device in usb port.
Installed drivers from driver folder of flashtool.

Tried everything you stated and sadly it doesnt work as well. Maybe there isn't a way to flash SO-01J to a generic rom. :crying:

Yes it's looking that. I also search for your probpem nut nothing is found. Can your model fall in f8331 aur f8332 category. Otherwise contact with androplus, a great developer in xperia software.

It's a single sim phone. so It falls under F8331. Thank you @faizanfaizan for all your help!

If it's f8331 then just install boot image from androplus through fastboot and then install recovery through fastboot and install custom rom.
Responses are still very much appreciated. I still have hope the SO-01J can be flashed with a generic ROM.

Hello i were having the same problem xperia xz dual(F8332)
use original cable to connect pc and direct attach to motherboard (from back panel) and try to re install the drivers.

so-01j did anyone figure out how to flash f8331 firmware it always fails im tired of the docomo software and I want to stay stock I know theres a way to get generic firmware on this some insight would be great

Did you flash the international ROM? Or still use Docomo 6.0.1?
same problem here , i try to flash 41.3.A.2.24 AU on my Sony Xperia XZ SO-01J but it always appear error at all sin files start from partition.sin

AFAIK you cannot flash that file to that device.
you can't flash other rom into this phone, it only accept docomo rom. the bootloader is locked and it's not unlockable (as far as I know unless docomo allows it or someone managed to find a way). so I did the next best thing, by removing some of the docomo apps through adb. I also removed some Sony apps like Xperia Tips and Whats New and a few others (facebook etc). battery life has been better since less things running in the background now, free RAM is around 1gb though I don't play games at all.

I just wrote a full explanation and accidentally deleted it ... so here goes again.
Been rooting Sony XZ Premium G8141 for about a week & have had little success getting a functioning copy of Oreo 8.0 on there where the Camera function works. Have been using sToRm//s XperiFIX tool which has fixed the camera with 2 versions of Oreo; Vodafone AU_1308-9477_47.1.A.3.254_R3B (does not give me mobile data with Optus) & Customized FR_1308-9476_47.1.A.5.51_R2B (phone resets every 5-10 minutes).
Best success has been with Customized FR_1308-9476_47.1.A.3.254_R2B however can not get camera to function even with the fix. The tool does suggest using firmware 47.1.A.3.254_R4B but I can not find a copy of the firmware. Have tried using Sony Xperia Flashtool (helps reset back to Nougat but no use going to Oreo as it stops at 68% every time 'failed to execute service'.)
The only tool I have gotten to work is NewFlasher v8 & v10 however, now that keeps giving the error:
- infflate returned: -3
- gzpipe: invalid or incomplete deflate data!
Even when I don't receive the above error it does not seem to flash the firmware as Sony Xperia Flashtool (Emma) still states the old firmware version.
As a complete noob at this, can a veteran please help point me in the right direction or provide clear concise instructions? Even links to some other firmware / flash tools that have proven to be successful? Thank you.

I am struggling to force update my Huawai mate 8.
Current running on version NXT-DL00 8.0.0.839(C17)
I am unable to use WIFI update as my WIFI has not worked for a long time to perform hard reset/recovery.
I do not have USB Debugging enabled and at present I am unable to enable this as my digitizer also does not want to work.
The EMUI gets to around 5% and then I receive the error

I have tried a number of firmware downloads and nothing gets any further.
The reason I am trying to update is to hopefully get my digitizer working again, I have already fitted a new one and this did not fix it so I do not believe it is a hardware issue.

This is a really good phone and I do not want to just chuck it in the bin, I have purchased a Mate 20 Lite as the replacement but would prefer to get my old one working again and use it as I miss it

Im wondering if anyone has tried to use Xperia Companion (XC) to install firmware other than the latest available. XC uses firmware files located in the ...UpdateEngine\localstorage\US\ folder, so i thought i could swap them with files downloaded from Xperifirm. I even renamed Android12 binary files with Android11 filenames, but appears XC is too smart for me. Trying to Repair offline doesn't work either.
I ask because im now on Android12 and would like to go back to Android11, but im having no luck. Flashtool comes up with errors, Newflasher gives me the "Your device is corrupted" warning.
I'll get there eventually, i hope.
From what I understand you'd have to do a clean install and also unlock bootloader once you go up an Android level you can go back sorry I can't help you
