EXPOSED FRAMEWORK on X2

UPDATE (on 24 Nov 2015)
===================
Thanks to "ajsmsg78" there is detailed explanation on how to get this working on our X2. Please go to:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-x2/development/mod-xposed-framework-mediapad-x2-t3255963
INITIAL POST
==========
It seems the Chinese managed to get the Exposed Framework working on X2 ?
The URL:
http://club.huawei.com/forum.php?mo...=page=1&filter=typeid&typeid=2005&typeid=2005
Just based on Google Translate to English it seems to indicate detailed instructions how to make it work ?
I don't have a good understanding of Exposed Framework so not sure if those who're familiar can take a look and validate what I saw ? Thanks
xposed
i was reading it but i dont understand either it says you need a third party recovery from what i understand

The official version on this XDA page doesn't work on our X2. Gets into bootloop.
i think from my understanding we have to be on b106 or b109

I'm gonna install it later and see if it indeed works. I know it well from my Samsung Note series days and my Nexus 6. Edit: confirmed working. Testing some modules (I think the one they provide is the only one that works with our X2 as of right now) I can put up a new thread with links and a How To if you want, or you can do it on the main page of this thread, it's up to you.

Did you try installing it from that link? If you did, does it work? I get a boodloop when I try installing it from there. The Chinese one works fine as maybe it's a modified version for our X2's.

In that case can you help to put up a new thread on this ? I'll just point this thread to your new one cause I never had any experience with Xposed yet

I would love it too! For stability, I prefer it to be samsung based, like what we have from @gtbluesky. Ideally would be awesome to have it Marshmallow based

I don´t know, maybe there are some problems. You can check yourself. I don´t own this device, I just noticed the ROM on the forum.
There is some info:
Translated from chinese: the Android Version: 6.0.1 Test models: GT-I9500 (BNM Unicom, Hong Kong version, international version can not partition size limit)

I9500 users are lucky. I'm hoping it comes to the i9505 soon.

that's ok now. i hadn't reboot it, but it don't work again.
the inital interface crashes on start, it says that Mi Cloud App stopped, it put me back to the connection settings page. I probably need to register MiCloud.

... deleted all data and set FirstFlight N7 Themed V6. May be later, it is even not started on a Hello screen.
Anyway, it is absolutle fail, I even didn't start use it. otherwise it looks good, like a step forward. we need optimisation 0[
finally I've done it. the solution was not to swith language at first start screen. google works ok with gapps pico.
camera didn't set from S6 (like FF rom was), battery works so-so. I'll post exactly after a few days.
I have some troubles with icons on a tray, i switch on them in setting but no animation anyway.
the processor drain, batteryHD icon - only inactive pics.
I tried to use Nevermore Kernel, but no result. No Mi boot animation at start. I had to put boot.img to nevermore .zip
What happens if I install the i9500 version on a i9505 device?
Does it fail to boot?
Will it destroy the device?
download links not working
Where to download the rom from ? I downloaded the one by GTBluesky but it has some chinese apps and on blocking them, the phone ends in a bootloop. need some help with the rom and download.

Do these ROMs have the slight but constant micro-stuttering that the stock ROM has?
I guess all these ROMs are loaded with Google's stuff?
With the exception of Play Store I'd like to be free of the Google fleet of useless apps.
It's great that you've been able to port these ROMs. I hope a lot of people use them. I just have different needs! Tx.

Yes, all of them. You can "freeze" or delete unwanted Google apps. Do it manually or try to find scripts which can do this automatically.
Hi, I was thinking to buy this tablet.
Can these ROMs fix the issue of too high brightness even at the lowest level?
If not can you recommend a free application to solve the problem?
Better this or teclast m89 pro? Thanks.

To solved this brightness issue I use the sFilter app or any other blue light filter app.
But to tell the truth, I wouldn't recommend to buy any Teclast tablet. I have a problem where he doesn't accept the installation of Instagram or Facebook app. I saw that many people have the same problem.
Anyone else with this problem or know how to solve?

It's possible to change brightness limits manually by editing firmware files, If there's a big problem for u and other users I can change its' range sometime. Just let me know what firmware u are using.
Hello dev!
Are you still working on this device firmware? I bought it this month and not even on official site could find updates for, so I don't know if there is any firmware that I should update before using these that you made...
I'm using Pixel Experience and found it great. But I had problems with the initial setup, which always had trouble trying to recover the configuration of another device. When I checked to set up as a new device it work fine.
I could not open Magisk too, but i wanted to disable it and remove, but always shows error when trying. I'll try MIUI in sequence to see if I can.
Another question: The modified Stock has gapps included? (and can I remove root?)
Thank you so much for your work, I was happy to know that have other firmware for this tablet.
PS.: sorry for the "google translator english", my english is poor. lol

Hello!
1) There is no more firmwares to port for our device. Also I don't know much about modding firmwares, so Pixel was my first successful experiment.
2) Latest official firmware for our device is TOS v2.1 which can be found in appropriative thread here. Seems no more updates will be released for our device.
3) Restoring function is bad idea esp on custom ROM. You should always make clean installation.
4) Custom ROMs can only boot with root access (e.g. Magisk). You cant uninstall it. In other case your device wont boot (Android 7.0 classical issue). P.S Magisk is not like "classic" root, so you can "hide" it for apps that don't work on rooted device.
5) Of course stock ROM includes Gapps. All made changes are listed in topic. Root can'f be removed on any custom ROM (see p.4).

Well ... I have founded a new ROM for this mobile. Based on MIUI 10.2.1
It is posted on russian forum: https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=895159&st=4140#entry90240414
You must update the firmware using TWRP. Remenber to do format and wipes on TWRP before install it.
I have test it on my x650 and it is great. Enviroment is nice and very fast, so it has 1 fault: no NFC control.
Languaje contains english, korean, chinese ... etc , but not spanish.
Good luck.

can say it's better than the EU port.
Working really well here. I did a clean flash and installed only the ROM zip, which includes Magisk.

No MiRoom 9.9.27
Revolution ROM also made a MI8 ROM port to Pocophone. But no MIUI 11 ROM yet. I tested it worked fine, besides the fact you couldn't sync ur data with Mi Cloud.
Hi, I have developer version 9.6.27 MIUI 10 Global. Can I update on see of doing a clean installation?

Do a local backup. Avoid restoration through Google that caused me Xiaomi Cloud Service error messages.

MiCloud not working? Man that's kinda not worth the jump to MIUI11
Thanks for your work.can you add more languages to rom?Spanish, for example.Thanks.
I had problems with MiCloud, too.
On first setup it always crashed and assistant didn't finish. To solve it change language on setup to English. After setting up device, change your language.

MIUIMS won't get updates for Poco anymore. The developer bought a new phone. Telegram channel is also deleted. I switched to miroom and it's also really good.
Working good. Tks you!. Bug : default launcher f.c
A much better port ROM than EU. Feels like a legit Pocophone beta ROM, just wish it had more languages. No rounded corners on recent apps menu is annoying too... If someone properly ports the EU ROM, it will be superior to this because EU has more language support and a much cleaner look. Stability wise, MiRoom is better for now.

Sadly this is true..MiuiMS was IMHO the best of...So also i would to switch to MiRoom or RevOS but it seems that missed some extra features from miuiMS as option to switch from Indian Themes/Chinese Themes (option was in developer settings)..For me this is the only feature that i really missed..
Someone knows if these roms have this feature?
