Hey guys, sorry for this being my first post, I'm usually a regular over at the SGS forums, but haven't had a response to my urgent post yet - which I'm now getting fairly anxious about! So...
"ARGH wtf. Just as I thought I had the perfect phone, it messes up! Darky's ROM went mad on me. Kept rebooting the phone. Kept vibrating throughout. No idea what's wrong with it. Tried to do a wipe install of the ROM again, but the bloody thing has disappeared from the SD card! What am I going to do now? Reflash back to my previous firmware and start all over again, AGAIN? Ffs.
Just for the record, I'm basically stuck in recovery mode. It's either that or staring at the Nexus S logo as it attempts to boot, over and over and over... I'm so angry right now! I didn't do anything to the phone for this to happen! Bad luck or what. Really hope there is a solution to this. I don't suppose there's anyway of accessing the device's SD memory when in recovery mode? I just need to plant the update.zip on the SD card again so I can reflash it!"

I'd massively, massively appreciate any help you guys could give me!
Cheers,

i dont know if this is the right place to post this but im really desperate here.
I downloaded ROM manager. and flashed with clockworkmod recovery. because i want to flash a zip file.
but what happens is, it suddenly turns black, i mean the screen turned black and then it won't turn on anymore. and the worst part is i didnt do a back up. i forgot to!
please help me guys, my dad will gonna .. ugh.. if he will find out what happens ((
im so stupid.. ugh.
I really shouldn't bother posting here because I answered this question a billion times..
It's dead, return it to the store and beg for a new one.
Your phone wasn't listed in ROM manager so you used an other flash which wasn't build for your phone, because of that it failed to boot and now it's unusable, very maybe you are able to restore it with Odin but I have no experience with that.
i have the same case as you , and send to repair center, it claims that my mother board spoil , and it change new one for me
Its happend to me ...
i send hem for repair...
go to private store and they fix yoy that..
hey! try this one

Hello there!
Im new to this forum, thou ive used some stuff from it before.
So, i got tired of my ICS o3d.. Too many problems with apps and other stuff.
And now ive tried to flash JB 4.2.2 to it.
Worked fine throu the flash, but stucks in bootloop on first boot.
And now i cant even do sh*t with my phone. Cant even get into recovery.
So, im not noob on flashing/rooting and all that. Been doing it for some years now.
But never got a bootloop like this one before.
How do i fix this?
EDIT:
Sometimes when i try to get into recovery (by pressing vol - button) it asks me if i wanna do a hard factory reset. And ive done that now two times. Still stucks on bootloop.
solved
Sorry for doubleposting.
But, i managed to save the phone.
OMAPflash + LGflashtool = unbrick
thanks to the man who invented them things.
Sulotion here:
[GUIDE] [P920/5] [SU760] Resurrection Guide (Lets get those brick's fixed...)
Friggin' awesome.
Now i only need to flash for JB again hope for not brick it again.
So..
the rom itself runs fine. No 3D anyhow.
But, my IMEI got lost.
And i cant fix it. Help needed!
Feels like im flooding the **** out of this thread. Sry for that.
BUT..
i managed to get my IMEI back.
I did a recovery with LGmobile Support Tool. And then i got bootloop from hell.
So i go back to the whole unbricking procedure.
And thank god it worked.
Too bad im back on 2.3.5 now. Want 4+.
Maby its for the best to stay on 2.3..

To the wonderful hero who I hope can save me.. I just want to apologize before hand about the lack of tech-ie-ness in this plea for help.. I really am just a money with fancy tools at this point, just banging away making a mess of everything.. lol .. I did my homework after I made a mess. Aka bricked two phones of my my friends.. I took rooting droid as equal to jail breaking iphones... after a lot of reading after I I bricked, I know now the basics... having said that.. I did make a mess.
First I have a m580 I rooted.. too much pot and not enough reading later I hooked a friends m820 up to the same odin set up I used on my m580.. the problem is that m580 has built in keyboard and uses other command to put phone in to download mode.. so the keys dont exist to press to re-flash it with the proper firmware which I have now.. and no one is working on this phone type because its old as dirt..
that was first mess up.. before I learned how vary complex Dev droid talk is... I assumed this VERIZON ELLIPSIS 7 was a jflte type of galaxy s4 and using Flasher or flashy something like that.. I tried to put CWM on the verizon.. now its stuck in boot loop.. I have no back up.. I now know how important that is now.... been doing homework on MTK Droid TOOLS and SP FLASH TOOLS and think if someone would send me a stock rom of the Verizon Ellipsis 7 {qvm7b} I could handle fixing it.. although test runs with it to this point have shown an issue, I have yet to figure out points of contact on board to rest the preloader.. in other words, unable to keep it from rebooting every 5 second so I can flash it with a rom I dont have yet..... holding vol down does nothing.. same thing with any other button combo. .. I have popped off the back of the tablet to unplug battery just to get it to shut off. With what I have learned I feel I can handle any directions ok.. and if I could fix this mess I can handle not destroying any more phone or tablets.. maybe.. lol that is kinda the fun part of having things.. breaking them.. but these things dont belong to me.. anyone who can help me either get the tablet out of boot loop.. and or send stock and/or rooted firmware for the verizon tablet QMV7B I would be very grateful. Or if you know of a program I could use to wipe the m820,with steps by step “how to” for dummies please.. lol
HELP ME ANDROID DEV-ONE.. YOU'RE MY ONLY HOPE..

Alright, Im going to be completely honest. I am a complete and total noob to the tech behind smartphones. As Ive been learning, I tried rooting my Samsung Galaxy SII SCH-R760X, and after I attempted to flash a kernel that was suggested by this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/how-to-root-galaxy-sii-sch-r760-generic-t1928566, my phone is now stuck at the logo with a warning sign at the bottom. After all this, I realized I made the worst possible mistake anyone could ever make: I didnt backup my system. Luckily, I didnt have much data on it anyway. At this point I am aware it has become a softbrick, and Ive looked at guides such as this one:http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/development/guide-fix-unflashable-soft-bricked-t1619571, but it still tells me to "put the recovery file in its place". Im assuming he's talking about the backup... which i dont have. If anyone could point me to where I can find a backup for it, or upload one for me, I would be incredibly in debt to you. Thank you for reading, I know how most people feel about noobs, but I dont know where else to go.
Please, if I am doing something wrong with this post, please tell me. I dont want to be an annoyance. In fact, this is my first time ever posting to a forum! Id love to get into smartphone tech, however, since I couldnt find a place to start, I made the foolish choice of simply diving in and ruining my phone (hopefully not permanently). Anyway, thank you for reading! Even if you cant help, I really appreciate the attention. Thanks!

You have already found good threads.
To recover a soft-bricked device, you basically have to flash back an official firmware for your device.
The guide you found was for the GT-I9100G, which is a little bit different from your exact device model.
Here is another guide for other variants of the S2: [GUIDE] Fix an unflashable or soft bricked GSII (I9100G/M/P/T VERSION INCLUDED) by Phistachio.
As there is no "ready-to-go" recovery package available for your device model, you have to get an official/stock firmware for your device.
A link to possible firmware sources is in the first post of the guide you posted.
Flashing the stock firmware with Odin should fix the soft-brick.
If not, maybe a wipe data (= factory reset) in recovery mode (long press Volume UP + HOME + POWER) is needed additionally.
And rooting your device seems to be working with this too: [ROOT] Framaroot, a one-click apk to root some devices by alephzain ... I found some users confirming it working fine to root your device model.
If you still have issues and need further help, please ask in the [Q&A][SGS2][Newbies][Experienced Users][RCs] New members friendly Q&A thread by It_ler thread.
There we try to give detailed help for all variants of the S2.
Good luck !
Thanks for responding man! I didnt think anyone would reply.
I really appreciate the help. However, I downloaded and flashed the droiddroidz kernel turner78 said to flash, and that was what made my phone go softbricked in the first place... I tried flashing the other two kernels instead, and they proceeded to put my phone in bootloop... So, I tried flashing the "Siyah" stock kernel everyone was talking about, and it made this weird eye thing with a yin-yang flash on my phone... And Im sorry Im a total noob, I just recently learned what flashing and kernels were from the help of google :/... Im still a little lost on what Roms are. But reguardless, Im assuming the kernels I tried flashing were incompatible or corrupted, and thats whats making my phone not work. If Im wrong, correct me please. I know my phone is version 1.4.1, but thats about it. I dont know if its "Gingerbread" or "jellybean" or whatnot. Im sure Ive just made a stupid mistake and Im too dumb to know how to fix it.
