Nobody said that you owe them anything from what I can gather. A few folk including myself were chancing their arm in the off chance that you would post your updated ROM, Can you really blame us for trying when you come on a public forum stating it works well and that you are in possesion of an updated ROM that alot of folk crave.

No need to apologise, I would have been extremely surprised to be honest if you did share it and didn't expect that you would have for a minute, but you can't blame me for trying

Is the 3D effect of converted 2d games as good as the native 3D games from Gamelft ??,id imagine that they would be less effective ??

Hi Nic85. LG have said that the 2d to 3d game converter is coming in the first maintance release in October. Do you know what things the Maintance release fixes and does the Maintance release also include Gingerbread or is that coming at a later date.

Yep. Emui is as close as we're gonna get to CM. CM is usually buggy anyways. It still is on my Nexus 6P. AOSP based is much better but we won't see that either on the X2. If the phone has a Kirin processor then forget about seeing any AOSP or CM based roms.

It's emui with the look and feel of CM. Still emui though.

ROMs available for pixel

Hey everyone,
I am noticing a paucity of ROMs for the pixel (only the WETA and dirty unicorns) so far. Somewhat surprising for a stock android device. Is there a reason for that?
Is modding and tinkering starting to die for android?

I don't think so, I think it has to do with partitioning, it is very different than what people are used to, give it some time, I am sure Pure Nexus will release one when ready and when TWRP, su are a little more stable

Some part of it is absolutely GAPPS. DU has it built in rn because there is no flashable GAPPS. This issue though is tied in with the partition scheme I believe.

Cyanogen is dead, not the source. The code has been forked and devs need time now...

Yea idk why people think CM is dead. Just getting back up and running on new servers under a different name..

Ask and you shall receive. The post promoting Carbon ROM just showed up, with warning about gApps issues.. Available for download soon. I've always liked this ROM.
Edited 1/1/17: ROM currently has issues with gApps (as in none available yet). Also has issues with slot system. Hang tight!

So I know this thread is 6 weeks old, but there are a good number of ROMs and kernels available now.
I personally recommend PureNexus. I've been using Beanstown106's ROMS since I had a S3, he does great work. I've also just installed ElementalX kernel, which is supposed to be a very battery friendly kernel.

I have the 2gb version and working awesomely! Idk if my phone is getting old or whatever but looks like no rom can manage to make the battery last more than 3h SOT.. it is pretty crappy knowing I don't play game at all...

Post benchmarks with What your using e.g. Kernel, Rom and whatever versions. Could come in helpful for some. Mine on rooted nmj32f with ex kernel set to on-demand no other tweaks.

I know people say that benchmarks don't mean anything but there is one thing in common the benchmarks use the same parameters for each phone so whatever test it's doing on each phone it's the same for every phone. So to some respect it is a valid comparison.

Yeah, its ok if I compare it to the u11+ htc. It achieved around 196000 with oreo (8.0)
Still the snappy 845 will achieve around 275000.... :/
