Help for bricked Samsung Armani I9010 - firmware problem

Hello guys!
I need you help, I've Giorgio Armani Galaxy S I-9010 and I was trying to update the firmware. There was 2.2 on it and I wanted to update to 2.3.5 which is the latest official for Galaxy's.
Anyway; it's my first Android phone, that's why I didn't know how to do that. So I started to play with Odin, Samfirmware etc. As you could easily guess; now my phone is BRICKEd and I can not use that.
Now I need your help and directions. Otherwise I'll have to throw my lovely phone away. I want to restore all the factory firmware and settings back so I installed from samfirmware.com -all the necessary files. I got I9010XXKB2 file which has GT-I9010-CSC-MULTI-OXA902407.tar and I9010XXKB2-REV00-ALL-low-CL909299.tar. And I also have GA3_add_hidden.pit file.
As I read forums, I need to put I9010XXKB2-REV00-ALL-low-CL909299.tar and GA3_add_hidden.pit to Odin and it should have worked but always gives errors. I tried different combinations, I installed older version of Odin as well but can not do!
Also Odin has other parts such as PDA-PHONE-CSC etc. In that case, I use PIT and PDA options, not CSC and PHONE. Because I downloadad latest firmware from samsfirmware and there were only 2 files in zip.
Other than that; in that zip file, in that case again, I use I9010XXKB2-REV00-ALL-low-CL909299.tar and other file; GT-I9010-CSC-MULTI-OXA902407.tar -where do I have to put that?
AS you see, I don't know too much and I need to be directed. Could you please help me about that guys? I 'really' need that! Thanks in advance

[Q] Odin won't load OTA md5 file

I need to unroot my Verizon SCH-I535 and reinstall stock OS. I've read several articles regarding how to do this with desktop Odin, and I'm familiar enough with Odin that I used it to successfully root the device in the fist place.
I've downloaded the OTA Jellybean tar.md5 files from both samsung-updates and sammobile. When I try to load file named HOME_I535VRALF2_I535VZWALF2_618049_REV09_user_low_ship.tar.md5 into the PDA slot choice, Odin shows the filename as having a bunch of Korean characters appended to the filename following md5. This file will not load into the PDA programmer. Picture attached.
This happens with both files downloaded from two different sources. However, I can call up a Clockwork Jellybean file like CWM6023TouchVZW.tar.md5 and it shows a normal file name and it will load into the PDA programmer. I did not proceed with the clockwork update because it would not give me the unrooted stock OTA OS that I need.
Does anybody know why the OTA files cannot be loaded into PDA?
I do not know anything about Verizon or the file you dl'd. I do know there is a newer version of Odin out there. It could be possible the dl is corrupted. Try downloading again. It's not passing the internal check. If possible, try to find file from a more reliable source than asian, if that is where you're getting the file from. You're taking a huge gamble with bricking your phone by getting the file from a foreign site.
To add, I'd suggest downloading the VRBLK3 tar from Open1your1eyes0 thread titled " [GUIDE] Jelly Bean Factory Images ***UPDATED 02/06/13***" which is in the dev section. I notice most people that post issues on xda were following tutorials/downloads from other sites.
4.1.2 OTA is MB1 and hasn't been released that I know of. That is an old ICS build. Follow Snoops recomendation.

OK, I solved it. Renamed the file to remove .md5 from the end, so it ends in .tar. Korean characters go away and Odin loads it. From there, flashed OK. Phone now unrooted, flashed to Verizon stock JellyBean and on it's way back to Verizon. Replacement GS3 i535 is working great - this was all done to get a warranty replacement phone where the GPS would work. By the way, I tried all the tricks to get the GPS to work . . . tightening screws, clearing caches, uninstalling maps, etc., etc., ad nauseum. New phone is the way to go, for all those who are still struggling with this.
For any phone as expensive to replace as the S3, you should be buying the insurance. I've used it several times to get new replacement phones about midway through the contract. Well worth the cost, to me.

Which version of odin are you using? You don't have a mac do you?
Download the actual firmware for your phone from the official Samsung website. sammobile.com. Don't be downloading stock firmware from file hosts, or dropbox. You need to register for free on the official sammobile.com and then attempt to download your firmware. The firmware is a large file, so make sure to have good WiF/data connection. And yes, make sure you're using the latest version of Odin. Good luck!

Enabling Wifi calling... then unrooting!

Hi Everyone,
Forgive me if I'm duplicating any threads, I don't THINK that I am as I've been scouring for a neat solution to this and not quite got there yet.
So I'm performing a simple mod for a mate of mine on his S6 (Sm-G920F), which he bought unlocked, but is using on EE. Wifi calling isn't enabled on non EE Firmwares, which has cropped up a few times on here, but it's easy enough to enable.
Basically I rooted the phone (no pingpong for it yet so used CF-Autoroot via odin), and then thanks to tiboric's handy post on hidden S6 features (cheers dude), I edited system/csc/others.xml to include the line - <CscFeature_Setting_SupportWifiCall>TRUE</CscFeature_Setting_SupportWifiCall> then enabled Wifi Calling in the phone app settings
This worked like a charm, sent my mate his phone back and all is right in the world...UNTIL he calls me saying that he want's to use a particular paid sport streaming service which detects his phone is rooted and blocks access.
Now I like a challenge, and it doesn't sound beyond the wit of man so I get the device back and try a few things...
1) Remove root via Super SU, rip the unrooted recovery and cache img files from the stock firmware, create my own md5 and flash via Odin.... Flashes but bootloops
2) Flash the stock firmware, create a flashable zip containing a modified others.xml, boot into recovery, flash update via adb... Flashes but bootloops
3) Download the stock EE firmware...Won't flash from Odin
4) Scour the web for a non rooted S6 ROM with Wifi Calling enabled.. So far no joy!
I reckon I must have missed something, anybody had any joy with either an alternate way to enable Wifi Calling or an "Unroot" method that doesn't require a total wipe? Any nudge in the right direction much appreciated at this point.
Cheers
Smuj
All you have to do is flash a PIT file which lets you have flash the large hidden.img in the branded EE files. That is what I did and I am on stock and un-rooted.
Wrong forum.
Thanks Rekan_ Any chance you can link me to the guide/sources you used?

Flash this in the PIT section of your Odin, this will DELETE everything. Then with the PIT file, flash the EE Branded Firmware and it will flash properly.
If that PIT file doesn't work, try this PIT file, I did both but cannot remember which one worked.
Hmmmm, Still got a nand write fail with both of those pit files. Did you flash G920FXXU1AOCY_G920FEVR1AOC1_G920FXXU1AOCW_HOME.tar.md5 ?
Hi guys
Anyone get this working I'm on a unlocked o2 s6
Please let me know
Thanks

S6 SM-G920I Downgrade from Nougat to Marshmallow Help

Nougat has been terrible for me since the OTA upgrade. VERY laggy...quite often, like almost constantly, lags of 5 to 15 seconds to do anything (scrolling, swtiching apps, clicking a button, etc). It is pretty much unusable. So I want to go back!
However, though I've done ROM flashing on earlier phones, it is not something I do often, so need a bit of help. I know the basic process, but trying to understand which stock firmware to flash. I see them here for the 920i (sammobile com/firmwares/galaxy-s6/SM-G920I/)...but no US region. I suspect because I bought this as an unlocked phone...it was from another region. I am in the US and have ATT as my provider. So which firmware version specifically would I flash...thinking Australia...just because it would be in English...but can only one point me in the right direction?
Thanks a bunch,
Chad
PS: Ive tried to troubleshoot the issues in nougat a bit, but without much luck...I've seen to turn off animation, no help. Run in safe mode...seems to run ok, but then its running none of my apps....I suppose I could install all my apps, then reinstall one at a time...but that would take more time than I have. Any other suggestions...I am open!
Anyone? This phone is driving me nuts!
Don't do OTA updates, they only Layer actual system installed, always perform a clean update from an original firmware file.

First Download an app called: PHONE INFO SAMSUNG. Open it and check your original CSC code. Once you find this, go to updato.com enter your model number and select your CSC in filters. Find the FW you want to download and download it.
Once the firmware had downloaded extract it. Download Samsung Odin and open it up. Make sure you have Samsung USB Drivers installed. Select AP in Odin and select the previously extracted file. Wait for it to check the md5. Wipe your entire phone including Internal Storage. Put your phone into Download and hit Start in Odin.
