Application that syncs with browser on computer

What is the name of the feature that gives you a tab on your internet browser and that allows you to send information to your cell phone? Thanks a lot to the people on here who really do help and arent douche bags.

And android2cloud does the opposite--you can share a web page from your phone to the app which, when the extension is installed in chrome, opens the tabs you sent from your phone when you (get home and) open your browser.

Whatsapp and Youtube links

Before on my Note and SII, when a person would send a youtube link in the chat, it gave me the option to open it with either the web browser or the youtube app and set that as the default, but now for some reason that popup doesn't show up for me on the One X (don't think it ever has) in whatsapp and it goes straight to the web browser. I even went to my youtube and web browser settings and reset defaults to see if that would help. No luck.
How do I get it to go to the youtube app instead of the web browser???

Uninstall htclinkifydispatcher using titanium backup. Once that is done it will give you those options

hey, i nearly have the same problem.
if i share from youtube-app, it always opens up facebook-app to share.
but i want to share with whatsapp, androplr, twitter or stuff like this.
deleting the "standard-preferences" (facebook) in app-preferences has no influence on this.
deleting htclinkifydispatcher isnt possible, because it doesnt exist (or i couldnt find it).
any ideas?

stock browser won't let me delete gmail emails

I tried searching for this problem on Google, but the only solution I came across was either by browsing gmail in classic or desktop mode on stock browser. I can't seem to delete a gmail email in mobile version. when I press the trash icon to delete an email, the icon turns blue to indicate that it has been pressed, but then it doesnt reload the page or delete anything. it just hangs..
since I am a frequent gmail user, I use dolphin browser instead, which works fine, but I still want to know what's causing the problem with stock browser. btw I don't use gmail app. my issue here is accessing gmail on stock browser.

I dont have that issue but then again i use k9 email app. When i have used gmail via a browser on the phone i use chrome and dont have a issue

The app is far easier, I've found.
Nonetheless, I tested the stock browser and it does not actually delete any gmail items that I select when in mobile browsing mode. Works fine in Opera, though. I use Opera because it acts more in line with my expectations from a UI standpoint and rewraps text on zoom.
So, it's a stock browser bug, I'd think.

alright. thanks for clearing that up. I can't believe how Google's android stock browser has such glitch with gmail, which is also Google.
this is practically the main reason why I'm using dolphin instead. hope it gets fixed eventually.

I think google doesn't want us to deleted emails. Have you ever tried deleting your
email from the gmail website after not doing it fora few months? OMG! ITS crazy. First you can only do it 10 at a time and there may have hundreds or more, and each 10 take several clicks it can take hundreds of clicks! But if that's not bad enough if you want to completely delete them you have to do it all over again to delete them from the history and again from the trash.

Any reason you choose to use the browser over the app?

I like to surf internet and check emails under a single app. that's all lol

[Q] Google Now - Open in New Tab?

I love google now, but when I use it for an ordinary google search, I cannot open the links in tabs but have to view the link on the same page, diverting me from the google search results. I've also tried opening the results in my default browser but I can't figure out how to do that either.
Is there a way to get google now to allow tabs, or to share the search query with the default browser?

I stopped using Google now for regular google searches, unless of course I'm using voice (which I rarely do).
I find it annoying that the search results in Google now pop up so slowly, and the fact that when you press on a search result, it has to open it up in the default browser. If Google now was more integrated with the default browser I would use it more often.
Now, I normally just open the browser and type my google search in the address bar.

I quit using it for normal searches too, but I have the search widget on my homescreen and I prefer using that to launching the browser.

This frustrates me too.

Curious if anyone has found any kind of workaroinds method to get the "open in new tab" behavior?
I would have thought that by now Google would have corrected this. Silly me. .... They can't even provide "append voice note" in google Keep. I think their entire UX group for voice functions should be pink-slipped.

2. The Google app with your news feed works?
3. I don't care about Google voice assistant but is it easy to disable huawei one?

Chrome browser works, but starts with a nagging feed (your news feed) instead of a plain screen. Offers sync with my regular Google account - I didn't try because I just don't want any sync, but it's quite likely to work.

Yep. But does not react on "Hey Google"/"OK Google" in standby mode.

Yes, no problem switching to e. g. Google VA. Also possible to link Google VA to shortcut keys/gestures of headsets like Huawei's Freebuds 3.

change to firefox .. it is actually very nice with the tabs and tab switching .. and bookmarks etc .. better than chrome.
gradually update passwords and save to firefox account . you can read passwords in the chrome browser on a PC or linux.

Na use chrome for work... So I need chrome

I agree that firefox is a nice browsing experience, I had saw that you recommended firefox on another thread, what do you think of the huawei browser?

IMHO .. it is one of the worst .. i seem to be a heavy tab switcher and the huawei browser was terrible with tab switching .. i disabled the app (unfortunately could not uninstall).
