Re-locking Bootloader with LineageOS 14.1 Error - T-Mobile LG G5 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I downgraded my H830 to 20a, unlocked the bootloader, flashed TWRP and then LineageOS/OpenGapps.
When I re-locked the bootloader it wipes everything again and then the phone gives an error that it's corrupt and can't boot. It's a variant of this message, but it says it "can't boot" and simple loops through that screen every few seconds.

I can re-unlock the bootloader, but then the phone doesn't boot anymore and I have to go back to LGUP and reflash 20a.
I'm trying to re-lock the bootloader so I can use AndroidPay again.
What step am I missing, do I need to flash the verity patch? Do I need to use supersu to remove root (which I think is included in the default LineageOS signed package) before I re-lock?
Thanks for your help,
Doug

Once you install TWRP and root, you can NOT re-lock your bootloader. You need to unlock bootloader, get TWRP back if you lost it, go into TWRP and format data (not wipe) (make sure you have everything you want backed up, it will erase everything on internal), install no force encrypt zip (dm verity), install lineage os and opengapps, install magisk root and reboot. Magisk will hide root and hide that your bootloader is unlocked and Android pay will work.

Erased Internal storage by accident- what now?

Hi, I assume there are some posts about this thing already but I've already read some and I'm still stuck >.<
So- I had TWRP 2.8.6.0 and Exodus ROM, was going to wipe data, dalvik etc in order to flash a different ROM, but by accident i wiped internal storage.
So I went into fastboot mode, connected the device to my PC (already got adb in my pc). did <fastboot oem unlock> ,pushed a ROM and Gapps, and flashed a twrp (using fastboot command to flash recovery.img).
then I used <fastboot reboot recovery>, and the phone stays @ fastboot mode, and i get this-

I tried manually booting into recovery and I get stuck at the 'ak kernel' screen right after booting my devices ( had AK Kernel before all this happend).
could anyone please guide me through this mess I've made?

If you were rooted already why did you unlock your phone again? why did you flash a recovery again. If you were rooted and wiped everything how did you accomplish that? Through recovery I assume correct? Sorry just trying to fully understand what you are doing.
If you were already rooted it should be boot into recovery then push a rom and gapps over then flash
Are you holding the right keys down to boot into recovery vol - and Power
Hope you made a backup. All you need to do is flash a ROM, though if you wiped internal you may as well return to stock.

HELP! I think i bricked my phone...

I wanted to try the android n beta out. so i unlocked my bootloader, installed twrp and flashed this beta through twrp.
but there i made the mistake not to decrypt my storage. but it worked. i used this beta for around a week and then a new version came out. i just wanted to boot to twrp and flash it, but i couldnt.
so i thought i just roll back to emui 4.1 which i used before, install twrp again, deecrypt the storage and everything works well.
but something didnt work as i wanted. so now i cant boot into twrp or in any rom, just into erecovery, fastboot and into the warning screen where it wants, after some minutes to install a update, which i cant dload, bcs i cant enter my sdcard..
bootloader is unlocked, frp too

FirmwareFinder fail. Please help me the cheapest way to recover my phone.

I don't know why. I used erecovery with FirmwareFinder many time and it work all times.
But 1 day before, I unlocked bootloader, flash patched ramdisk.img (Magisk), and then reboot again. But then it meet bootloop, bootloader relocked, FRP lock. But this time, when I use Firmware Finder to recover, it cannot work, erecovery failed when getting package. I checked all step.

My mate 9 is briked in i install the last firmware oreo b369... Firmware finder
Please help me! 41$ for 5 credits FunkeyHuawei is too much for me. Could I buy 1 credit to flash firmware?
Are you still having issues, if so, have you been able to unlock your bootloader and flash a custom recovery? If you have I think I may be able to help you
@shae23: Thanks. If I have been able to unlock bootloader, I don't need to creat this thread. I had to bring it to a service shop (Viet Nam), it cost about 6.5$ US to reflash firmware.
someone know what to do ?!!
I unlocked the bootloader and flashed the recovery, the system booted successfully.
I tried to flash a ROM after that, it showed errors and didn't complete the flashing. since that time the phone has bootloop.
Unlocked bootloader and FRP
fastboot oem get-build-number : MHA-L29 8.0.0.374(C185)
I can access the TWRP recovery and erecovery and bootloader&fastboot
what I have already tried :
1-Fastboot flash ramdisk and kernel .
2-Tried to flash the stock firmware via TWRP.
3-Tried HurUpdater0.3
4- Extract update.app & HOWTA
5-Flash ramdisk and kernel from inside TWRP
Update: I can not access the recovery anymore. its just stuck at stock recovery with EMUI 0%
Tried to flash stock and custom recovery, but no luck
Update 2: I somehow managed to get into recovery. recovery is good now.
BUT still no luck with booting, I feel it's something stupid that I missed
Did you try this way?

didn't work

is it possible to relock bootloader while using custom rom and recovery?

is it possible to relock bootloader while using custom rom and recovery installed ?
i am asking this because it will make phone more secure while running it on custom recovery as all of us know how to remove screen lock with use of custom recovery
put password on recovery so no one can open it and if we relock bootloader then no one can reflash recovery in it and then there will less chance that our data may get out from phone or can be used if it get stolen or lost.
I am also trying to get rid of the annoying bootloader prompt that says the security of the device might have been compromised....
Please explain how...
Yes i have already flashed the device.
No. Just no.
If you want to brick your phone, just do it.
No, unlocking the bootloader is what allows you to run a custom ROM, that's why the phone is okay with it being custom. You can't just delete a password if you have an encrypted data partition.
Locked bootloaders only accept roms from vendor by certificate.
So If you lock is you will brick your device.
Not sure if hardbrick tools will work...?
This does kind of exist for the OnePlus 5T; see here. It is quite complex, but once you have root under a locked bootloader you can reflash everything (with SIGNED recoveries and boot images). If you fail to sign everything correctly your phone will become more bricked than usual, with no possibility of reflashing except using the MSM Download Tool.
However, before you get any ideas, hold on. The OnePlus 7 is not only an A/B device, but a system-as-root device, neither of which the 5T is. There is no recovery partition that you can easily overwrite. I believe it's still possible to get a twrp-installer zip to do your bidding, if you're able to get Magisk correctly with a locked bootloader. And before you ask, I don't know if it's possible to sign the boot.img with Magisk/TWRP already installed.
This is all pure speculation on my part and I've yet to try any of this with my 7 Pro. I know that no matter what happens, I can always use MSM Download Tool to restore my phone to working software. Then I'll have to start over, installing Magisk and then TWRP to restore my backup. I'm waiting for more input on this from people who know what they are doing, before attempting anything myself.
This was possible on the Redmi Note 3 pro. Someone created a mod where you could flash recovery directly using the MiFlash tool (Xiaomi's equivalent of MSTOOL). This was great because I had a locked bootloader and used orange fox recovery to lock the recovery... A theoretically fully secure rooted device
The anwser is no. You can try it like I did but it will tell you you have to format the device. I just learned the button combo. Thats what my problem was. Everytime I wanted to restart my phone I would always forget to shutdown completly because you have to do the button combo to enter rooted state. I just got used to it.
Edit: but I did manage to stop upgrade to the ugly Andriod 11 and managed to get my gear sport to work on my rooted rom. Thats all I wanted was Call recorder and for my watch to work.
So far no,I have been working on it and rebuilt a ops file with patched boot.and get this new error lol. If any one knows what I should try let me know. I am able to fully unpack and repack the ops files and flash.have been able to disable quite a few checks in the flashing with MSM tool.

[Mi A1 tissot bricked] need help unbricking Mi A1 accidentally wiped data

so i was trying to install TWRP so i can install custom ROM, and accidentaly wiped the data, phone wont boot only would tell phone has destroyed, still got access to fastboot , no luck for recovery (even before it got bricked, power up + power btn wont get me into recovery, it just would boot me into the AndroidOne)
tried flashing with MiFlash tool, no luck only getting error while erasing boot_a ( i suspect that while i accidentally deleted the whole data , it also almost deleted all of the partition), i've been looking around google for days now, all of em would just flash easily, even on EDL it still doesnt work
note:
before it got bricked, i got ADB access, and unlock bootloader option ticked
would like to know any suggestion what i should try , thanks
