Do any of you know how to bypass the 'low battery' message and restriction when flashing a ROM via microSD?My problem is that whenever I try to boot up to recovery mode and try to flash a stock ROM onto my tablet which is in a bootloop,it tells methat I don't have enough charge.I cannot charge it because it always drains the battery whenever I charge it(when it reaches a certain amount of power,it boots up into a bootloop, starts to drain battery due to it trying to boot). That darn automatic boot...
Thanks!

Hi!
I installed samdroid kitchen mod, and I noticed, that the phone turns off, when battery level turns yellow (i'm not sure about percentage, but I think it's more than 5%), however, with stock 2.1-update1, battery could drop down to empty-red-crossed (about 2%?), and phone would still be turned on, and it still had about 15minutes of listening to music life.
With samdroid, phone turns off safely, when with stock it dies. I know it is safer the samdroid way, but I would really like to use my phone for few extra minutes...
Is there any way to change these values, when does phone display "low battery warning" and when does it turn off?
You should download a battery widget. The values given by the icon on top aren't accurate.
I use samdroidmod, but don't experience the same problems..
You can try flashing another kernel with a different battery driver, like qbanin's kernel.
Download coolS from market it will slow down CPU to half speed if not need performance and resumes it if needed, it lifes up your battery.
if not intall from recovery LK2.10.beta1, then convert your file systems from rfs to (EXT2 for system and cache then EXT4 for Data), reboot and apply samdroid turbo you'll have a circular battery with 1% and boost up performance.
test it, it's great.
I'm on Darkyy's v8.0 ROM and without a SIM card. Since I'm without a SIM card the phones time without signal is 100%. My phones standy by time is also equal to the up time of the phone. Is this normal...? My battery is draining unusually fast. I've checked OSmonitor and I get LOTS of errors, but I'm not sure what causes them.
I found the same with that rom suggest use another rom as it fixed my battery drain .

Which rom are you using?
Why not put it in aeroplane mode?

Not sure about other non battery errors:
As for the Battery problem on v8.0
You can either upgrade to V9.1 and/or try the following which is found in their website
(Search for Darky ROM Calibrate Battery)
Calibrating Battery with Darky's ROM:
1. Use your phone until the phone switches itself off (battery empty)
2. Switch on once more to make sure battery really is 0% (it will then immediately switch off once more)
3. Now, keep switched off (!), plug in charger & leave in charging until 100%
4. When battery is full, switch the phone on, unplug & check if the batter immediately drops 1 or 2 %
5. If battery immediately drops, plug in charger once more (while running phone) & let it charge completely
6. Once charging to 100% is done, keep charger plugged in & Reboot into Recovery Mode
7. in Recovery Mode go to: advanced --> Wipe Battery Stats --> Yes-Wipe Battery Stats
8. When done: Go To --> reboot system now
9. Once system has rebooted, unplug charger
Try Simply Galaxy 2.4.1 with ROM JS5, i can run 1.5 day with moderate use of Wifi, browsing and email
Yeah I've had the same experience after upgrading to 9.x, I tried all the usual recalibration tricks and even bought a new battery. i'll give another rom a shot to see if battery life returns to normal.
I highly recommend Juwe's 1.5.5, fast, stable and great battery life.
Shouldn't this thread be in the Q&A section?

Use the app "Battery Mix" available in the Market too identify which apps/services consume an --unwanted-- x amount of power.
or the new Darky Rom 9.5
Hi i need to somewhow calibrate my new battery
I have an app called "battery doctor" and it says that my fully charged stock battery has 350hours standby. sounds good.
The same app says that my 2400mah battery has 350hours standby. so it seems that the phone or at least the app has not realised the increase in capacity.
any apps that can support this new battery? I tried the battery calibration thing:
1: charge phone when on,
2: turn off phone and charge again (but after like a few seconds the led goes green)
3: turn of phone, then after 2 mins, turn off phone
4: charge off again (led is only on for a few seconds before turning green again)
where have i gone wrong?
anybody?
You can reset the phones battery knowledge by removing the batterystats file at /data/system/batterystats.bin
So do your calibration thing, and delete the file.
i have already deleted the app...
Can anyone confirm that if i delete the "Said File" /data/system/batterystats.bin ,
the phone will be recallibrated and boot up?
im afraid of boot loops
i can confirm this for the galaxy s on 2.2.1
So, like every other thing out there, stuff fails. I woke up this morning and checked my phone to check the time. Nothing unusual. I go to get changed and I come back to my phone and it just shows the Verizon boot logo. I thought "Ok, it must have just crashed somehow and it'll reboot!" And so I waited...and waited....and waited. It seems to be half-booted, but stuck somewhere along the way. The screen is dimmed (indicating the auto-brightness feature is working) and it has the orange hue over the white text (indicating the night-light mode is still on). I had medium Power Saver mode on to keep the battery overnight, and the CPU cap was enabled. I've noticed that some apps don't like to start with that setting enabled, so I'm inclined to believe that the 70% CPU cap is somehow messing up the system and keeping it from fully rebooting. I'm currently waiting for the battery to die since I can't remove my battery in the Note 5. I've checked the device temperature by hand every now and then, and it doesn't feel warm so the CPU isn't cycling up like it should. I don't have access to my computer until I finish moving and unpacking my new house, so I can't use ADB to try and do anything. What should I do?

Ok, so I fixed my own problem. I tried a variety of small post-boot tricks like trying to force the device into a different boot mode (ex: Power+minus=safe boot, power+home+VolDown= Download Mode) and forcing it into Download mode worked. It overrode the issue and I was able to tell it to reboot again. This time it rebooted normally. This was really weird. I've never had this happen before on any other device I've ever owned. I hope this might help someone in the future.
Hi,
I have a question about runnig my old Samsung (XCover 3 - SM-G388F) without battery.
I have connected wires (usb cable connected to charger) dierctly to pins under cover and it works fine. The problem is that system counts the battery load percentage down and when it reaches 0% the phone is shutting down. When I boot it up system shows again 100% and counts down.
Is there a way to bypass this (phone is rooted if it helps)? I need it runnig 24/7.
ok, my mistake
I was trying to serach an answear before I posted and didn't find anything.
But when I posted this question I got "suggested" thread with answear
"Here's how to fix the battery percentage going down:
-You have to be rooted
-Use the terminal emulator app
-Type SU (switches from $ to #)
-Type this command to keep the phone at 100%
dumpsys battery set level 100
-Type this command to tell the phone that the charger is plugged in
dumpsys battery set usb 1
Everytime you reboot it reverts to stock settings. So I use a tasker script that runs the above commands on every boot."
I leave it here for other
Chears
wouldnt it be possible to keep the battery in and just prevent it from charging ?
I tried that with an app called "Battery Charge Limit" but from time to time the phone was shutting down.
