Has anyone done more testing on this or heard anything about Mate 9 supporting Verizon simcard?
Back in January I tested it and I was able to pick up mobile internet in some areas but phone and sms were not working.

I have a weak cellphone signal in my area and would like to use the Wifi-calling feature which can help me use wifi network to relay the cellphone signal (didn't buy any 4G plan but on 2/3G). As this phone doesn't have Wifi-calling enabled (at least for T-mobile in US), I wonder if the Link+ works as wifi-calling should do? I haven't gotten my nano-SIM card yet and hence cannot test it. Thanks.
Hi Guys, I am T-mobile user and switch to Honor 8 from Motorola Nexus 6 about three months back and after use around week felt that this is the best Phone ever better than iPhone 6S. After few days used this phone found that it's doesn't have WiFi calling feature which does have on Nexus 6 because at my work place very barely T-mobile signals reach. Try to find some blogs and got that will get this feature in next update vEMUI 5.0 with Android 7.0 which i got recently few days back. but still this feature doesn't show up or working at all. now I am feeling like this is the wrong choise coz it not supporting WiFi calling which normally most smartphones does support.
Huwai Team please address this and let us know if any fix is available to overcome this.
On my Huawei Honor X2, the code *#*#6130#*#* works fine so that i could choose between 2G, 3G or 4G only, but in Huawei Mate 10 it's not working anymore.
Does anyone know the USSD code for Huawei Mate 10 to be able to get 4G only signal?
PS. I bought this phone for the sole purpose of playing android online games, i have no need for the calling features of the phone.
So, please don't comment about me not being able to receive or send calls/SMS.

I have switched from a Huawei Mate 10 - supposedly the top of the line Huawei, why?

- Swiping right on the Honor gives me Google Now, the Mate doesn't. It gives Hiboard, which doesn't work(here in the UK).
- It has Face Unlock, the Mate doesn't.
- The shape is thinner and longer. The Mate 10 is wider and more difficult to use unless you have a large hand.
- IT HAS WIFI CALLING!!!! :good::victory:
I didn't see this documented anywhere. The Mate 10 received an update where Wifi Calling was apparently added, but I never saw it, or any option to turn it on. Here, on the 'inferior' Honor View 10 is Wifi Calling, working with Three UK.
So is it just common knowledge that Wifi Calling just works ?
Here works Wifi Calling and Volte fine with my V10, same firmware. The Mate 10 (non Pro) has no Volte and no Wifi calling here with o2. On my 10 Pro volte and wifi calling is also working. But i sell the 10 Pro today, for me the V10 is the better 10

Finally the good news (at least for us in Saudi Arabia) Google has activated Volte & 5G on the latest Android 12 beta (May.2021)
But i am still waiting for the Vowifi activation
If anyone living in different countries can confirm as well

No change in Belgium (Orange, Proximus) with A12 Beta 1 , no VoLTE, no VoWifi
Same for Portugal(NOS) even on Beta 1 VoWiFi and VoLTE remains locked
VoLTE working here on 3 Austria too, don't have 5G enabled on my plan anymore so can't comment on that.
No luck with kuwait Stc

VoLTE & VoWiFi in Poland still blocked. Tested on Polkomtel and T-Mobile carriers.
It didn't work in Android 11 too...
The same for Orange BE, Proximus: VoLTE & VoWifi not working (A11, A12B2)
And we are in 2nd half of 2021..
I guess if Android 12 does not have the voiceover LTE then moving to root is the only option we all are left with. I am going for iphone anyways once it is confirmed that a basic feature of voice over LTE still does not exist after Android 12. Google pixel has been a terrible experience in advance times.
So there is a July security update which has a voice over LTE support for certain networks. Definitely not Middle East because I tried still not working I think it's just for some USA carriers
I enrolled in beta and on 2.1. Well the request still goes to deaf ears for Google.
Sorry on beta 3 but still no volte. Makes it clear that it's time to move to custom ROM and make the most of use of this phone now.

did you find any custom rom with volte working for you ?
No but I am currently up to two things.
First is that I am on the process of selling this phone on a local classified online.
Second is to check by rooting the phone.
I don't think any of the custom rom supports voiceover LTE by default. You really have to use the magisk by rooting the phone.
Pixel 5 will be totally last Google phone which I bought.
Official build of Android 12 comes this morning to my device, 5G, VoLTE, VoWIFI all these features still LOCKED!
Google is not a company which I can trust anymore.

Two days ago I upgraded my OP 7 Pro to Android 12 (GM1913_11_H.30) but I noticed a weaker coverage of my mobile network data and, the worst thing, when I make a call the mobile data has always deactivated.
Before the upgrade it happened only often but now I always have mobile data disconnected.
However, I don't remember such weak coverage before the upgrade and the phone is in Edge mode most of the time..
Do you have the same issues?
Do you know how we can fix them?

Version : OxygenOS 12.1|Android12|GM1913_11_H.30
since I updated my 7 pro , I m losing my network coverage too often..
With android 11 I had any issue about network but since I updated to android 12 my network going away. I use everyday hotspot mode to share network with my computer for work and I get constantly disconnected.
I saw few post complaining about it but any informations came from OnePlus , sadly
I found a way to get back my network without rebooting my device or waiting 10 mins.
I disable my Sim card then I enable it..
now I m looking a way to roll back to android 11 or if isn't possible, I m thinking deeply about a factory reset.
OnePlus 7 pro Europe

I already reset my wifi settings but nothing changed
If anyone got information about it, I m all ears !

I don't think you'll fix your issue through a factory reset, because it seems to be a well known issue in Android 12 with this phone.
Android 11 has as drawback the battery draining, in fact, I was pondering to roll back to Android 10 (10.0.1) bit, however, I discovered that my carrier doesn't support the VoLTE feature on this phone. Thus, I decided to migrate to a new phone...
