Probably Lenovo A6000 user ever tried ZenUI rom version Lollipop which is rom port of ASUS Zenpad 8.0 and now I will share again rom zenui which is ported from ASUS Zenfone GO smartphone which use base android 6.0 marshmallow. Who is bored with ZenUI Lollipop or just just tasting rom marshmallow this please install the file below.
Not much has changed on this zenui marshmallow rom, only now some of its apps use app from google like google messenger as a replacement for ASUS SMS and calendar also from google. Even the music player but here I replace with the default from ZenUI lollipop. Actually, the SMS application I want to replace with asus belongs available in the Play Store but due to many unfavorable comments so I undo. If you want to use messages and calendars from ASUS please try it yourself by downloading it in the play store.
INSTALLATIONS:-

1.Download ROM ZenGO 6.0 Marshmallow on Lenovo A6000
2.Log into TWRP by turning off your phone then press the Volume Up, Volume Down then Power button hold both buttons until the logo appears Lenovo. Release the three buttons.
3.Select Wipe further by shifting the Swipe to Factory Reset
4.Next select Install
5.Locate and select ZenGO Lenovo A6000 ROM that you downloaded
6.At the bottom of it slide Swipe to install
Wait for flashing process to finish ..
7.Finally select Reboot System
8.Later if TWRP asks to install SuperSU , select Do not Install.

Eliminate notification Force Close-
If there is an application that appears FC notification after reboot. such as Music Player. Go to Settings - Apps - Music Player - Permission - enable all permissions.
SMS and Calendar Applications From Google-
There are several application systems that use Google applications such as SMS and Calendar. if you want to have ASUS download application from the Google Play Store.
ASUS Browser Cannot Download-
Open Settings - Apps - Browser - Permissions - enable storage.

Add line persist.sys.debug.multi_window = true in build.prop

#How to Install ZenGO Android Marshmallow ROM On Lenovo A6000 / plus
1.Download ROM ZenGO 6.0 Marshmallow on Lenovo A6000

#I personally tested this ROM and i am providing some info below-
1.Battery backup is OK.
2.It takes really long booting time in only first boot.
3.Boot logo duration is a bit high.
4.If you are getting error 7 then go to mount section in twrp and unchecked the system partition.
5.After installing your model name will change to Asus_Z00D

UPDATE: I LOVE IT! Battery Backup = Good. Performance = Good. Overall experience = Good. The only bug I found is the Flashlight. It doesn't work.
Lenovo A6000 1GB - SuperSU / Slimmed by removing unnecessary system apps. Blocked auto-start programs during and after boot.
Results: AWESOME! I love it! Will post screenshots later.

Flashlight works for me bro, 1gb user here. And about autostart manager, i had to enable for whatsapp and messenger to get the notification.

That's good to hear bro. I also have Messenger allowed. By the way, I am using RR 5.8.5 the latest update recently. It's the final build! It's awesome because it is 32bit. It's really smooth. In any case, I have backed up my system of this ROM so that I can switch/restore it when I feel like it.

Well this is modded android 4.2 jellybean..and MIUI is created by chinese company Xaomi..its ui is quite similar to ios
And as of updates..currently i haven't planned for providing OTA updates...but yeah would update with flashable zips whenever possible..

BTW, I just installed it and its awesome, however, few of the times, getting error, Settings stopped working.

As much i know, to change the update link and provide a custom web address for OTA files, we would have to decompile the settings apk and recompile with different address. .net skills are less likely required.
And we may discuss these stuff on pm or on im.
As of the errors, please post the causes if you can replicate the force closes.

Yeah its already rooted. But miui uses its own root manager. First of all you would have to enable root access from System->Permission->Root->Enable root permission. and then as usual it would ask to block or grant root access.

Generally, it should match last 7 digits to show the name.
My contacts are like 09876543210
But incoming call shows +919876543210, which means no match. :|

Sound Issue
Having a weird problem
Few of the times, when I receive call, sound is too noisy, I can't hear a thing.
However, if I make out-call, everything is perfect.
Is there any fix for it ?

Battery is ok so far. I can confirm 6cpu cores running instead of 4. Performance increase in daily use is noticable! much more responding. Under development options i changed all animations scale from x1 to 0.5 and even in the half time the phone response very very fast!! After 1 hour of screen on and downloading/several reboots the device become ONLY a little bit hotter than normal but when i left the phone down it cooled in 2 mins to normal.
feedback:
1)stock email app were working fine so no need to be deleted.
2)you deleted the stock web browser! so after i flashed the rom i had to download a browser apk in my pc then transfer it to my phone and install it. Its reccomended to put the default rom browser back in.
3)default camera sucks! the quallity is disappointing. Still need to configure media_profile.xml to increase bitrate.
4)everything else is perfect!
Suggestions:
1)add gapps in the rom
2)include a different keyboard(swiftkey,google keyboard) in the rom
3)make sure the rom is rightly deodexed and zipalinged. (if the rom was zipalinged the boot time should be higher than the stock rom,thus is lower) (just a concern)
P.S rom works flawlessly,couldnt be happier atm. The response time increased a lot in all apps. I have free time in the afternoon. i can help you in anything you need.

wipe cache/dalvik cache before ANY flash!
Now I'm feeling dumb Thanks of course that helped...xposed is working!
Had problems with gapps, will try the method of using the google installer and report back...

same methom. thats why i said before ANY flash. Either on stock or twrp gapps will give you and error. You have to wipe cache/dalvik cache and they will work fine!

xposed is a framework where you can download different modules to add/change features...I'm surprised you don't know it...

i was on stable 006S with twrp. After that i flashed ur rom and my twrp remained untouch and works great.
What launcher is used in this ROM? Is there an chinese left screen hub or it is removed? Im now on 006S with gapps/root and no chinese soft at all. Modified launcher from 003S ROM. All stuff works well.

3. Wait for downloading ROM.
4. After the download finished, King Flasher will flash your phone automaticlly. It will take about 5-10 minutes to finish.
5. Your phone will reboot to the new system when it finish.

Bro I flashed this rom. Works super awesome :highfive:. I read somewhere this supports VoLTE. But I couldnt find the option . Does it support? If not, can you tell me how can I get it? I'm using a Jio sim and for calls to come and go, I need to keep the data on all the time for JioJoin. Please help bro. And thanks so much. I wanted a redmi phone. Now I have the feel in Yuphoria. Moreover, there r many redmi phones that didnt get MIUI 8, and I, a non-Xioami owner have it. Loving it.

It works for Yuphoria running Cyanogen. I flashed it. Working all fine. We do not need GApps. Google framework is already there. Rest of the apps we can download from PlayStore. And I couldnt find support for Volte. 4G working. Jio sim is working but to make calls Im using JioJoin.

Custom ROM on YUphoria
Dear Xinkid,
I am able to successfully falsh the rom, but this rom does not include GAPS.
Deskclock is working as a clock but alarm is not working.
All downloads are from wifi only. Evenif wifi is disabled when click on ACCEPT from install button from any app on playstore, it is not considering data connection.
China language should go off once language is set to ENGLISH.
Please let us good patches for the above said problems.

Flashing Process [To be followed strictly] :
Go to TWRP
Wipe cache / dalvik cache / data / system.
Then MIUI 9 FOR LA6000/+ BY PawanRockz.zip
It might show error 7 on first try, don't panic flash ROM again without wiping anything.
Wipe Cache and dalvic cache.
Reboot.
Install ARM 5.1.1 GAPPS After First Boot and Enjoy, Cheers !!

I flashed the ROM and at the initial stage itself I've got stuck because it is asking to sign in into mi account and is showing nothing on the screen. It is blank I tried flashing rom again but the same thing happens.

This is my first time sharing on XDA but I have been in a lot of forums since I was in High School. Now, I am working as a Technical Support Specialist in an American based company and still have the passion of helping and sharing.

So, so much for the intro, here it is. Special thanks to Herman Koeman for this great ROM. The battery lasts a day from 100 %. I can play Heroes Evolved, Mobile Legends smoothly on Low Graphics settings. Compared to other ROMs I have tried (RR, DND, AOKP, AOSP, CynogenMOD, etc), including stock ROM, these games are a bit lag.

Copy ROM to your SD Card
Boot into TWRP Recovery ( KitKat Version 2.8.6.1 )
Make a back-up. Backup > Check System, Boot, and Data. ( This is important. If you don't like the ROM, you can switch back to your old system using this back-up )
P.S: If your BACK-UP is KitKat based, you can switch back right away. However, if your BACK-UP is Lollipop based or higher, you will need to install the stock Lollipop ROM first before restoring the back-up or else you will HARD BRICK your phone.
Wipe > Advance Wipe. Check Data, Dalvik, System, and Cache. Swipe to wipe.
Install NEW_VIBE_UI_LENOVO_A6000_V2.0.zip
Reboot (The first boot may take longer. Be patient)

Optimizing the ROM.
To change the device name, follow this guide:
Open ROOT Explorer app ( Pre-installed )
Navigate to System folder
Long tap Build.prop and open with Text Editor
Look for these tags and rename them to Lenovo A6000 or A6000 Plus or to any name you want.

ro.lenovo.ram= - You can change this to 2GB if you are using A6000+
ro.lenovo.rom= - You can change this to 16GB if you are using A6000+
Note: Do not touch the other lines which are not indicated here.
Press the three dot buttons on the top-right side, Save and Exit.
Reboot your phone.
Renaming in a computer.
If you connect your phone to a computer and named as Lenovo K30-T, you can rename it by changing your USB connection to MTP and then go to My Computer > Right Click your phone and click Rename.
Changing the default minimum CPU Frequency.
The default CPU governor is Interactive with minimum CPU Frequency to 800000. To change the default minimum CPU Frequency, follow this guide
Open ROOT Explorer App.
Browse to System folder.
Open Build.prop via Text Editor.
Find this ro.min_freq=800000 - Change 800000 to 200000 or 400000 or 533333.
Save and Exit.
To prevent apps from running at Startup, follow the guide below.
Open SafeCenter app.
Go to Permissions.
Under Behavior, browse to the bottom and look for Auto-start.
Toggle to allow and reject any app listed.
Note:Make sure you have given Power Manager root access in SuperSU.
Going back to KitKat from Lollipop or higher version of Android
To go back to KitKat from Nougat, Marshmallow, Lollipop or Oreo, you can either use Lenovo Downloader or Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QPST) via computer or you can choose and follow my guide for an easier procedure.

First download the stock KitKat ROM from here:

Copy them on your SD Card.
Boot to recovery and flash Stock KitKat BUT don't reboot system after flash.
Install recovery by image. Tap on Install > Install Image and locate the TWRP-2.8.6.1.img and flash it.
After that, go to Reboot > Recovery.
You will now have a new TWRP Recovery. Make a full wipe by following my instructions on the first post and proceed with the installation of the ROM.

You do not need to feel sorry. We use our device based on how we want them to. Based on our usage and enjoyment. In my case, KitKat is the best suited version for our device. I can play 3D Games, Social Media, Surf the Web, Play Videos Online without any lag and I can do it 5-8 hours straight on screen.
On top of that, this ROM is modified. You can see the screenshot. It's way better design (UI) from the stock VIBE KitKat.
Otherwise, we have different perspectives and purposes. You can choose your desired ROM in your phone. You can do whatever you want to and use it to however you wanted to.
I am just sharing this ROM to everyone who got the same usage and basis as mine.

What version of recovery are you using? Did you tried flashing QFIL(QPST) or lenovo downloader? Otherwise, in your recovery, go to Mount > Uncheck "System" and flash the stock rom. If you are still having error, let me know.
