Phone locked - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hello Devs, i bought a Samsung S7 Edge from someone as second hand, when i bought it told me as is locked in UK network, i went somewhere abroad , of course i went to one shop in UK to unlock the mobile, then once i was abroad i insert a sim from a different country and it register to that network, was all good until i return in Uk and when i inserted the UK sim card is doesn`t want to register to any network, no matter if i swap the sim.
I have a question : If i flash a ROM from another country can i make it to work? Or there is any chance to unlock and to be able to use on any network?
Any answer is much appreciated, links or whatever solutions i can try.
Thanks in advance!

I understand that, but i was asking is there any way to get rid of this , flashing a new rom would keep the phone blacklisted?

Flashing another rom won't fix that, phone is blacklisted, and is denied on registration by imei and serial number, get another phone to use in UK

How to remove Verizon's tethering restriction, when phone is used outside of US?

Facts:
1) It's not blocked by local provider. I can use the same local sim card with non-Verizon phone(international version).
2) Phone LG G4. Android 5.1.
3) I can make calls, internet is working with local GSM provider. I had no problems with tethering in US with Verizon SIM.
4) I also rooted the phone. I guess I need to stop some process. Which one?
Since I travel a lot, when I was purchasing the phone and getting the service, I was assured that I will not have any problems with SIM swapping, since the phone is unlocked. Very weird - you need to enable some Verizon plan, while working with non-Verizon provider.
Spent about 24 hours of my vaction time trying to find out the solution. Called to Verizon tech support. They have no idea. I am very disappointed how all these companies now are doing their jobs only half way, cutting time and money on testing of their products, leaving it to the customers to discover all these issues and resolve them, or not disclosing about these issues, when I sign up for the service and buying the phone.
Please help.

I think you should install a custom ROM for that.

Xperia Z5 E6653: LTE/4G Not Working

LTE/4G not working on Z5 (E6653)
Hi there,
I just bought the Xperia Z5 E6653 model from Amazon. I bought this specific model because I'm from Brazil and some people told me it would work just fine. I'm not familiar with LTE bands and stuff, but I believe this model is really supposed to work with our network. The seller also said this version was unlocked, which made me feel more comfortable. Well, the thing is: the Z5 LTE doesn't work in Brazil.
I've tried changing the network configuration, but nothing happens. So, the question is: is there anything I can do to make it work here? Like flashing another official rom (I believe the one that came installed is the Chinese one) or anything else?
I searched the entire forum but nothing similar has happened to other users.
I appreciate any help in advance. And I'm sorry if I made English mistakes while typing.
Best regards,
Guilherme
What makes you say that? willmyphonework.net says it will...

If it says 4G you're good to go, some of the phones display 4G in lieu of LTE. Use the LTE discovery app in the playstore to see what network you're connected on.

S8+ SM-G995F carrier locked, how to unlock?

Hello guys!
I have a carrier locked Samsung Galaxy S8+ it's locked to México's Telcel (TCE) and it's locked since I got it at launch date with a 2 year plan which has already expired. I went to the carrier and asked for an unlock and they told me they couldn't do it since the codes they had didn't work. They sent it to Samsung and asked for an unlock and surprisingly IT DIDN'T WORK! So they just returned me the freaking phone with a carrier lock which not even they (presumably) can't remove.
I was wondering if there's a way to unlock it with rooting or something. I was able to do that on an old Galaxy S4 back in the day but now I just don't see any information.
So, here's the phone's information:

This is the Phone's Baseband, Firmware and all that stuff:
This is what happens whenever I insert another carrier sim card:
I really want to unlock it so that I can give the phone to my dad since he needs an update and this phone seems like a good upgrade for him. The problem is that he is using another carrier and I can't give him the phone if I don't unlock it.
Can I unlock it by rooting it and flashing an unlocked firmware or something? Any other ideas?
Thanks a lot for your help!

Oneplus 7 pro : Not Common Lock

Hello Guys,
I live in Canada and I bought a few weeks ago a One plus 7 pro from Alieexpress, after a few days of working properly the phone got locked suddenly.
After contacting one plus and T mobile it looks like the phone is locked with this US carrier, weird knowing that it worked perfectly for a few days?
Anyway, after doing some digging around, I don't find a solution for the type of unlock I have, what I mean by that is that the phone got locked with a message that says " Network Lock This device can be remotely unlocked if eligible. please use the "Unlock" application to unlock the device. Make sure the device has internet access to use the "Unlock" application " problem is the phone I got is completely exempted of any T mobile apps or branding, it doesn't prompt me to enter any pin to unlock it, nor I have the permanent/temporary unlock buttons as there is no T mobile app on the phone what so ever. the phone also come sealed in a new package.
does anybody has a solution for the type of unlock?
Thank you very much in advance for your help !

Dude, firstly, I think you absolutely should cover a part of your full IMEI. Secondly, so far due to my understanding, if your OP8 is Network Locked by TMO, then currently there's no solutions to network unlock it, since that variant use TMO's own modem & modem firmware version. Therefore, only if u can change the modem inside the device, then there's no other way to network unlock it. Don't waste your money on scam services!
