So I got a s2 today and I was trying out the music app it was connected to my s7 edge through Bluetooth when I click to play music from my phone it doesn't have the vertical 3 dots for the menu but if I switch to gear music they appear... this was a huge disappointment as I'd like to select music by artist without having to get my phone out and also be able to put my songs on repeat... can you guys help?

Hello all just got my nexus 5 and loving it so far. Was on iPhone for many years but tinkered a bit with Android. I am having issues with google play music not showing music that I download until I restart my phone. Is any one else experiencing this or know how to get music to show with out reboot? Any help appreciated. Thanks!

I have the same issue. This is using the default Play Music app. Cannot see music I have downloaded until I reboot my phone.
I fixed the problem by changing to different music downloading app

What music downloader are you using? I have this same issue with Music Maniac.

Try simple mp3 downloader

Which developer is it by? There's about 8 different ones and they are all the same but they are by different people haha

Try the one with the most downloads. For som reason I can find the one I have installed on the play store hah. They all look like the same thing anyways so not sure it matters which you get.

Hi. I wanted to know to know whether your music stutters when you turn on your screen!? I tried Google play music and stock music player and both had this problem! I think it's a android KitKat bug! Because I had this problem on one of custom roms on my phone!

Same here. This is bothering me a lot. I hope someone helps us with this. Or an update comes to fix this.
Are you using a lock screen? I don't, and get no stutter at all with Google play music.

If I restart the device the problem disappears but again it will reappear after a while!

I'm looking at taking the dive and getting this watch but before I do I have a question. At work I listen to music of my phone on a bluetooth speaker. Will the watch and speaker connect to my phone at the same time. I would like to monitor my notifications with out taking my phone all over my shop.

It works for me. I have the S2 3G with a Note 4 and several different Bluetooth speakers that I listen to almost daily. The watch stays connected to phone audio and the speakers get the media audio.

Connecting the S2 3G watch and a Bose BT speaker via the phone's BT at the same time works great for me.
Thanks for the replies. Looks like my gift to me.

I am an Apple Music subscriber. Our household if full of Apple devices and we have a family pack subscription. Apple music app doesn't rotate, so there is no way to enable Stereo + mode, except going into gallery and rotating the phone.
So my question is, whether there is a way to have Stereo + always enabled?

I don't think there is a way without root and a mod.
Anyway in portrait mode the sound came from the 2 speakers but not same effect like in landscape mode.
I am actually thinking of using Tasker to make a macro, which activates landscape mode when I run Apple Music.

Found an app that can force apps to landscape.

Like the title said, is it possible to use the watch's speaker to play music directly from the phone and not from the limited watch storage itself? I know spotify can do this but I don't have a spotify premium subscription that will allow me to use the function on the watch.
Thanks.

Isn't there an icon in the player to switch the music source from watch to phone

Yes. But you have to load the music onto the watch first. I'm wondering if there's a way to stream music from the phone to the watch's speaker without putting music on the watch itself.

Isn't that what it does? Switch the source of the music? Still plays it on the watches speakerspeakermm
