Easily rootable by srs root tool

I tried that too. I wanted to revert back to the previous backup which I made right before flashing the ROM. It shows MD5 error. I deleed & created nandroid.md5 ffile. Now i says "error while restoring /data". I am using CTR 2.2
Any idea how fix the "error while restoring /data"
Can't go back to the previous backup...

MD5 error comes when you make more than 2 backups usually moreover you can root the ROM by CTR Recovery itself thats why i did'nt rooted it as rooting by CTR is better

Well bro this is a highly customised ROM as compared to stock thats why you can't use GB but you can use xposed installer
Fyi this ROM goes in deep sleep fater than any other ROM for saving battery so you have to find a app which provides wakelock to the app

The preinstalled "MyFacebook" app is just awesome. I can access the fb messages directly via my sms inbox. very handy & useful... Lots more to explore.

Honestly probably not as stable.
Its stable enough for me, but I'm willing to live with some weird things happening if it means the latest and greatest software.

My camera's been better as of late (better as in it works and saves a picture correctly to the gallery). I'm using the 4/6 build, haven't put on the newest yet.

Gummy 4.4.4 is the most stable overall I've found. Probably a good bet in order to avoid any "Daddy, my phone's ______"

When I download this via the phone the file is a .tar and if I download it via my pc it is a .zip...... What gives?

On 4/9 and 4/10 with dhackers29gapps (removed the apps I didn't want from the zip) and this is pretty awesome! I feel quite strong on these - best so far and using "A Better Camera" is perfect even with video. Still can't get Dropsync to work on any of the 5.1s, but that's the only thing I've seen.
Thei GApps in the OP were flaky on my phone... Play services in FC snowball on boot.
CORRECTION: I used the 4-8 rather than the 4-7-15.zip Banks gapps which had new Google Play Store app which is what locked up my phone.

Man - you got some kind of bug or something? What app are you using to access the website with? I just used Tapatalk to make that screenshot, though I've been using chrome before.
EDIT: And, what app is doing the downloading? Something's wrong with your process there. There ain't no file on there with that name ....

It's just chrome. On a VZW moto X 2nd gen.
edit: I realize how weird it probably sounded that I took that screenshot from the moto X (I just did it there to verify that I would get the same result using a different phone)

How to install
S-off or Unlocked.
Update to the latest Lollipop firmware (Not required but highly recommended).
PhilZ Touch Recovery is recommended. You may also try latest TWRP.
Wipe Data/Cache.

I'm not jing95916 but you have to go to the 5.8.28 folder & then you can see the m7-5.8.28-4.4.zip :silly:

I'd be more than happy to try this out for my Sprint variant. Have modifications been made so that it (in theory) should work?

Thanks, cant believe I didn't find it. Should've gone to Specsavers!

Just flashed the 5.8.28 file with full wipe. Sim card is not working. Reinserting the sim card and resetting the phone does nothing. Latest firmware for lollipop installed and flashed through TWRP.

What's the difference between this one and the one on the official website of miui ?

Set other input method as the default ,then you can remove SogouInput.

Yes, it's based on CM11 so it's a small enough size

Yo man! U finally opened the thread in here as well! I was thinking bout opening it for u anyway... Gotta agree with zookarma its stable as hell and the performance is more than satisfying.. But I gotta ask for a favor mate... Recently Ive downloaded the latest build, and its amaazing... BUT! Remember the estable build? (7.1.2.0) It had its own amazing icons for a lot of apps like total commander, firefox, youtube, etc... It just looks great In my opinion so I went back to it... Heres a screen of wut Im talking about:
I know that miui has a lot of themes on their market with a lot of icons, but none of the themes had these default ones from 7.1.2.0... Could u integrate them into newer versions? Or is there any way I could do it myself?
Oh also theres one more thing.... the miui integrated search.... It force closes anytime u try to search with data or wifi enabled... I found its settings but theres no option to disable internet search (to obviously avoid the crashing even though it would work just as an internal phone search) .... Yup thats all I ask for.... Anyway its a great rom Im using it for 4 months now and the phone never let me down... except for today when I ran out of battery in a critical situation (-_-) but I had it coming ... My average battery charge lasts 3 days even when Im using data services... Congratulations sir! Thanks xiomi and thank YOU for this amazing build/port!!! Much appreciated.

I installed your rom in my galaxy j120g every thing works just fine and its a nice rom only problem is that there is no sound and also youtube video does not play. Please fix this problem as soon as possible as i wanted to use this rom as my daily driver. Thank You.

to the custom then it should work.

Yessss, Finally LineageOS for this phone.

I tried this rom and I really like it. I installed this rom on SM-J120F. It is very smooth and fast, but it needs to be more stable. for example, mega app crashes and can't download things. Also there are also some bugs not mentioned in the list. flashlight does not work, and MTP is weird. It said that usb configuration was set to MTP even tho it was actually set to charging and that really confused me. I can't wait these bugs to be fixed (especially sound). When they will be fixed, I will use this rom as daily driver. Thank you for making rom for this phone as there is practically no roms.

This rom is very impressive. I want to try it but I also want to wait for some bugs (sound, video, etc.) to be fixed so I can't wait to try this I hope this ROM will be finished soon

Looks good, gonna wait for more stable releases before installing. Also when you say "Boot system once before installing Gapps", do i have to boot the rom once, then shut down and install Gapps ? I just dont wanna mess that up

Also works on J120M (Exynos), but to be able to install it I had to remove the model check in the updater-script file.

What? I build this and tested it on a J120W. Strange that it's not flashing for you. What you can do is edit the updater script and remove the two first lines from it then it will flash.

hey i am from india and my Jio 4G sim is not working after installing this custom rom i.e. it only works in volte based devices but the device is volte enabled so can u plzz solve this problem.My device is J120G

got past that part yay, it is saying "can not find 'meta-inf/com/google/android/update-binary'"
which is weird cause it is there oh well tinkering i shall go

thanks for your hard work on this rom. it is still in alpha version so, if you need a tester for future version i will like to help you. i can try new version and give feedback as a way to help you so, if you are interested reply me i will give my email after it. i have a samsung j1 4g 2016 sm-120g indian version. my main aim behin helping you is to make camera work in this rom thanks.

Hi, i have a good news i have updated your rom and now audio and video have full support and rom is more stable. but my pc is not powerfull so i can not make changes to the boot image so camera is the only broken thing so help me find camera driver for samsung j1 4g

plz upload the new build cant weit to use this rom
