Device say im not cerfified in Play Store - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

hi, i flashed the european rom for S8 plus and now when i go to play store it says my device is not certified so i cant download some apps that need that certificacion, what can i do now?
i can only find this issue in nexus devices with no solution.

Have u tried flashing stock rom for your country? Maybe that will help.

He has asked the same question in 5 different threads (also in the S8-part)!
He flashed wrong "region"-firmware on his device!
His device, CSC PET, is part of the Multi-CSC OWA (where PET is included)
Now he flashed firmware with Multi-CSC OXM, where the default CSC is XEU
That result in different settings for his phone...
I PM'ed him already about this, which firmware he CAN flash on his device, but NO reply...
He's just "spamming" this forum with the same question...

Mine says the same thing and I am stock.

I am interested on this as well.
Interested too.
And of course, also interested in 4.4.2 if available.
I'm interested as well. Need stock SL.en.EU version, preferably 14.91.11, but older ones are also good. We need a method to extract stock firmwares.
Please, consider all you people asking in the Firmware Team forums, both for method and new uploads on sbf.droid-developers.org

Confusion over firmware downloads

I am really sorry if this has been covered, but I am as useless understanding forums as I am with phones.
I have just used ODIN to put MARSHMALLOW on my S7. I found the list of firmwares so confusing and picked one from the list of SM-G930f, and chose one that ended in _BTU, as I thought it might be carrier free. I successfully put it on my phone without bricking it but it appears to be German. Everything does look like it works though.
Can someone please explain to me what I need to download for a carrier free, marshmallow, uk version.
I am desperate to avoid nougat as the reason I have had to mess with my phone is because after the OTA update to 7.0, android OS begun using data at a massive rate and I was unable to stop it NO MATTER WHAT.
Thank you for reading, any help appreciated in advance.
The final MM firmware for G930F (BTU United Kingdom) is G930FXXU1BPLB

If you are certain that you are flashing the correct stock firmware for your model number and your region/carrier, try this thread for troubleshooting a failed Odin flash.

Question Modem file for A536V?

I recently posted about getting duped into buying a Verizon locked phone. I found this page outlining how to use Odin to flash a new modem file to carrier unlock it. None of the links on his/her site work properly though. And that particular page is not the same version as mine.
Any ideas where to find the modem file for A536V? Or maybe the "V" is for Verizon and I need a different, but compatible version?
Looks like the modem is Shannon 5308?
Any ideas where to find a file for this?

They don't have A536V, they have all the others. Can I get the modem from a one of the other variants? (I would think that since they all have the same modem and it should work)
Also, not sure which one of these to use
