I bought YU Yureka Plus with KitKat..but I want Cyanogen OS in my yureka plus.. I found cyanogen OS in XDA site.. There the procedure is also described I think.. Is it OK if I do according to the instructions.. Or is there any risk..

hey there i owe yu yunique plus and only reason i purchased this device was after seeing loads of custom rom for yu yunique! But sadly i can't even find a single project related to yu yunique plus....! So my question is why developers r not interested in upgraded version of yu yunique(Yunique +)?
I think you should be able to flash the roms for yu yunique in your yu yunique plus well nevermind i have ordered yu yunique plus variant and i will be looking into it ....... i will be glad if you tell me what error you get when you flash the roms which are done for yunique
well 1st of all Bootloader unlocking through Method of YU YUNique is not working (Drivers problem of my pc) Secondly i do agree that we will be able to flash yunique's rom in it but problem is Yu yunique's kernel is compatible with 1GB ram and few camera sensors r also not there in unique which we have in yu yunique plus. EVEN we don't have proper recovery for our device so i have not taken risk ! But will take risks if someone will there along with me in managment of this device! ?

A wise and clear comment will make me buy yunique plus , ... anyone please do confirm that i can flash yunique roms on the yunique plus too .

DUDE HOW CAN YA FLASH A rom compatible with 1GB DEVICE on a device with 2GB ram?
Wait how will flash it this devjcr dosent even have a proper recovery

hello any Tester here? who has tested this?
Twrp works but the CM14.1 release by WIP isn't working along with Gapps. It says incompatible device. So no the ROM for yunique doesn't work on the plus variant.

Even the developer website by YU doesn't list yunique plus as a separate device. They do have a 6.0.1 MM ROM for yunique though.

The problem is, even if you flash a ROM (somehow)... It won't be able to make use of the 2GB RAM.

No, each model of any company should be considered as totally different device. Each of the mentioned device has different hardware and it's capabilities and each ROM is made assuming one's specifications.
