Does anyone know if the there is any promotion for the preorders in the UK? In Germany you can buy from the official Sony internet site (as well as from carriers) and you get a 300£ headphones for free. What about UK?
S8 and S8+ also has a promotion in carphone warehouse where you get 40 pounds extra discount if you give your old phone (for example if you give a note 4 you get a total discount of 180£ (where for other phones you just get 140).

nothin, just like Italy. i contacted them on chat but ofc they don't know know, and also by email this time the [email protected] and all they can say is bs.. i asked when will the preorder start in italy on which official channels and if the bundle with the headphones will be available. the replied that the product i'm interested is non on sale on their store , to keep check their site within next weeks . and they don't have any confirms about the bundle

I pre ordered with Clove in UK and even they don't know yet however they did mention if Sony do advertise this then they will definitely include this with any pre orders. So I guess we just wait until Sony advertises this in the UK?
I tried ordering from Sony.de even though I am a UK user. Order went through then the next day I got an email saying the promotion for the headphones is only from France and Germany and that I should cancel and reorder from Sony UK lol.
Hopefully some other websites like clove or amazon have these promotions for us.

Yeah but those are just standard headphones slightly better than average. 50£ worth by quick Google vs 200£ ones which Germany and France get. We totally getting the **** end of the deal.
I'm guessing maybe France and Germany are where the sony products are more popular or something those lucky buggers

At least you can pre-order it. Here in Greece we cant apparently.
I dont really want to get it from other countries because i want the Customised GR version and i dont wanna root to change it . ( I know it sounds stupid but thats my preference )
Why should you need root? Can't you just flash the Greek firmware? I would buy it from Germany but unfortunately you can not.

I would think that you should go to eBay for that. At least I got mine there. It was sendt from Hongkong.
Be warned, though: You will probably not get a warranty beyond that the unit works when you get it, and you will probably not be able to access O2 Plus downloads, since these resellers aren't official O2 dealers.
As an FYI, MadMonkeyBoy in the USA, and Expansys UK/Expansys USA carry them also. I bought mine through MMB and could not have been happier.

Since expansys is selling a no-brand device, should work also here... Probably expansys forward your request to the Italian branch so you'll pay the italian price instead of the UK's price

The difference in the price depends mostly on what the package include (i.e. Navigation Software). If you buy your device from expansys it is sim-unlocked to use in any network. If you buy it from somewhere else... ensure first that it is not sim locked.
In italy HTC Cruise will be available from 17/12...

iPhone is locked to AT&T who subsidizes the cost of the unit. Adding over a million subscriptions for two years of service with many of them being new services (from other carriers) just to get 'the phone'. Costs AT&T next to nothing because they are not adding infrastructure, just filling bandwidth that has been somewhat idle. . . the business model is pretty good. Apple gets their cost+profit on the sale of the device while AT&T reap service and data plan charges. They don't even effect their HSDPA bandwidth because the device is EDGE/GPRS.

Yeah I understand the kickback scheme. But the device is still sold independently of carriers (ie. Apple Stores), so you're saying over half a million unlocked devices were/are sold at cost or at a loss to Apple?

Check out realook on Ebay or Amazon. They have the best screen protectors I've ever seen. I have it on my phone and you literally can't even see it.

HTC come with 12 months limited warranty from date of ORIGINAL purchase.
Usually you'll have to show proof of purchase.
The best thing to do is call HTC to get a direct answer to your question.
My guess is the warranty is usually NOT transferable.

It comes with 12 month warranty, even better
You can call t-mobile tell them your phone is broken and they will send u new one with 20 $ charge for restock or something and U will be in system as you bought in from them, in retail store.
Htc will not ask for nothing just need imei or serial nr, tell them is broken, and thats all how do i know?

That's good to know in case i need to send mine in.
The op did mentioned he's in Mexico so he might not be with tmobile.
If still under warranty, HTC will repair it. They fixed and HD2 for me after I had bought it on Craigslist.

Yeah, they released an "all countries" sim card now that covers both ChatSim and ChatSim Plus, not only that they removed iMessage AND Google Hangouts from the supported apps (WTF?).
