I have problem with my 3G and 3g+ and data signal. Sometimes even if phone shows that I got signal I cant use internet, call and recieve call.
I get an sms that people have tried to call me.
I have tried alot of different modems but get the same result on all of them.
I have tried alot of different 7.1 roms but get the same error on all roms.
Anyone know any modem that really works with 7.1 roms? Right now I have install the Tugapower rom which is based on Lineage OS.

The carrier was working fine on your device before flashing TugaPower?
Not sure, have tried a few roms, might also been after installing Cyanogen or Lineage.
Might want to check your APN settings too
I tried a lot of ROMs and I'm having this problem since COS13. I just live with it and reboot when this happens.

Okay, so I have a really weird problem, and I can't seem to fix it at all. I unlocked the bootloader and rooted my Sprint Motorola Photon Q, and had no problem with data loss, then I flashed PAC Man Rom, and everything went fine and it flashed but then I noticed that I had no data. No 3G, 4G, or 4G LTE, the phone lost network signal, but what was weird is that I could still receive texts and phone calls.
So, then I read that wiping the Dalvik and the regular cache would fix it, and it didn't. Then, I also tried flashing a different ROM which also didn't fix it. I RSD back to stock firmware and the problem was gone. I even tried rerooting and just installing a different ROM but, it still had the same issue, so I just went back to stock again.
Can someone please help me fix this? I've looked everywhere and I can't really find anything to help me out with this.

Is your provider Sprint as well...?
I'm not sure, data works here on custom ROM's... which version are you flashing? Have you tried CM11?
There's some new device unification going on, the newest KK builds are going to be under the "moto_msm8960" device instead of xt897...
No I haven't tried CM11. Where do I find the IMG for it at?
I have Flash Wireless, which is Sprint prepaid. I have tried CM11 and still nothing. I don't understand what is going on....I'm getting real frustrated because I want to put a good custom ROM on my phone....

Perhaps that's the issue. Did you check your APN settings? Is it using Sprint's network?

Everything was working fine, now all of a sudden I cannot receive incoming calls or texts.
People have had this issue, and I didn't find any answers, people say they flashed a CM11s modem, that didn't work.
I've flashed several CM12S modems, they didn't work..
It doesn't seem to matter if I'm on LTE, 3G, etc, no calls get through..
I've tried flashing Oxygen, CM11s, even ColorOS.. nothing works..
I need help. please..

As I can see that you have tried so many things, just for one last time flash CM11S with the help of following link

Everything was working just fine, but since I switched to a new carrier I can't get the network back as soon as my OP looses it (subway for example). I have 4G as my favorite internet mode and my APNs are good.
Only a full reboot fixes it, not even a soft one. What can I do?

After a long investigation, it seems that the OPO is having trouble switching for and from 4G. I solved it using 3G as my preferred network, but I'd have loved using 4G
reinstall the system... u can google fastboot images for opo... flash them through CMD
I've tried 3 ROMS and at least 4 modems so I think I've tried eveything that's available atm
I have had the same problem for some time now. But no reliable solutions found. Have tried various versions of ROM and Radio. Currently using 44S and CM 12.1 S (YOG4PAS3JL).

Didn't fix the problem. Finally reverted back to Oxygen OS. Complete reinstall, including bootloader, storage, everything. Got it done at OPO service centre. Much better reception now.
Hey guys, i needed some help! I have flashed lineage OS several times today. Not just lineage, i flashed aicp rom too, forgetting that its built on lineage. Whenever I flash it, I don't get cellular network. It shows full signal, but once in maybe 2-3hrs I get the signal for 5mins or so max. Does anybody know what the problem is? I asked several guys and also googled it, but the only problems I have seen or heard is having trouble with the phone app crashing and people installing Zip files to rectify that. Any sort of help would be appreciated.
PS: I have checked whether my sim card is sitting perfectly and it is. If I flash cm14, cm14.1 or aicp 12.1 unofficial which was built on cm14, I can receive calls and texts too.

Thank you. But the error was in the sim card xd
It would detect mine but I do not know why it never received signal. But it worked for other sims. So theres probably a fault with my sim and I'm getting it exchanged. Thanks!

A month ago my mobile data stopped working, it has signal but no internet, I tried the SIM card on another phone and it worked, since then I tried multiple firmwares and roms, two A11 roms and 3 A12 roms, nothing works, it only works on MIUI 13, but I hate it, I can't even root and restore my apps, has anyone faced this problem? I need some help

Maybe you have installed recovery roms in this case use Miflash with full roms (TGZ).

I did, and mobile data works perfectly, the problem is that I don't want to use MIUI, but I can't get mobile data to work in any ROM besides MIUI.

So you are talking about AOSP roms, if so check that you have flashed the correct firmware.
And post this problem on the thread of these roms, would you be the only one?

I tried multiple roms and firmwares, always have the same problem
As I said in the first post, I tried two A12 roms and three A11 roms, Arrow, CrDroid, PixelOS, PixelOS Plus, each one while flashing the correct firmware recommend by the dev, but I had no luck. I need to find out why it only works on miui, this thread is my last resort lol
I even tried flashing miui full rom instead of just the firmware, as it's working on it, but no matter which aosp rom I flash afterwards, it stops working.

It seems to me that on the AOSP roms there is a multiple choice for the network from 2g to 4g lte have you tried in 2g, 3g.
If no one has posted this problem it seems strange.
A stupid question, is your phone unlocked to all operators?
Can you post the phone version?
ex:M2007J20CG, M2007J20CT.
