With the dev Andy's ok I'm linking to his thread for his rom. Its solid I'm running it now. It comes with xposed already installed. Just need to flash gapps to get Play store. I used open gapps pico. Read the thread you have to change one line in the build prop to get Wi-Fi calling working. Overall it's a solid rom. English is not his primary language.

I'm not the best to ask about battery life. I got the zero lemon extended battery cause battery life for me on my v10 sucked with the stock battery. Seems good though.

I'm using it and so far like it a lot. Comes standard with everything--SU, Xposed, 3min batt, perf tweaks.

One strange thing is i can't seem to get higher than approx 55K on Antutu benchmark. It's not a big deal as i haven't noticed any real world performance hit---but i was able to get upwards of 70k on Elminaters V20J ROM + Warbeard Tweeks.

Has anyone else had issues losing mobile service?
So what exactly is the difference between this one & Eliminaters with Warbeards tweaks? Is one more stable or battery friendly than the other?
I'm still on 20e & fixing to update to 20j

Andy's rom is more debloated than eliminaters. He removed almost all Google apps and many LG apps.

So, I'm guessing it's more than likely gonna run lighter & maybe more faster, correct? Looks like I'm going with Andy's then.

Mobile Doctor V2 ?

I've been trying to use the Mobile Doctor, without success.
When I connect by USB it gives me the message:
1. Invalid device software version. The device may have been upgraded incorrectly.
2. Invalid device hardware version. The device may have been upgraded incorrectly.
and then puts up a login box asking for the Web UI and password.
I have already created a Huawei web account and used the same login information here, but it doesn't accept it.
Is there another ID I should use?
How do I get into this please?
Has no-one else tried this program? Looks like it could be useful - if you can run it...

I got an answer for this from Huawei. The MobileDoctor program is not intended for phones, even though it is linked from the Mate 9 support site.

They pushed an update right?
Past I contacted them regarding system sound and bluetooth issue. Viber team is nice and they responded immediately.
I think it's all because this is a new phone and they need to update their app to work on XZP.
P.S: If it's not still working you should email the.

I cleared data for the app and now it works. Of course being Samsung you cant actually do much customising with it. Hopefully someone finds a way to exploit it to work like Synergy does. Or to add the support to synergy.

I lean towards Synergy because #Hex dosent work with lucky patcher installed or similar apps. #Hex isnt bad but since Synergy uses substratum on the frontend theres many more possibilities compared to #Hex.

What can they do compared to Theme Park, besides loading other peoples custom themes?
I know substratum loads overlays to more apps etc.
Edit: For example what can Hex Installer do that this can't besides loading custom themes?
This is so nice, thank you for sharing this)

Porting .apk files from One Plus to work on Samsung

I'm not sure how to phrase this, because I tried my best to look up similar questions and I couldn't.
In simple terms, can you guys tell me why an apk from One Plus wouldn't install on my Samsung phone? And is there a work-around to fix this issue?
Thanks.
Some apk requires firmware related features. Some needs to be installed as system file.
It'll help a lot to know what you are porting over.

Those apps are likely system apps and won't work elsewhere unless modified.

First, compare the original app of its compatible with the version of Android ln your samsung s9 lineage os. If it's not compatible, then no.
Next check what is the properties granted to the app on oneplus. Grant the same permission. It might even need to be flashed in from custom recovery.
Next, check for required packages that the app is using. Try to port them over as well.
Tbh, why don't you just use a third party app to screen record.

Thanks for the tips. I recognize that it would be easier to download a third party app. I asked this here out of curiosity and for future reference.
