41.2.A.2.199 Sony Music won't play .flac files anymore.... - Sony Xperia XZ Questions & Answers

Today i must determine that the stock music player won't play flac files anymore. The files are not hidden, they will be shown at the file manager and also at the musik play. Does anyone have a fix for that behaviour?
edit: i've found out, that this issue is not ROM or Kernel relatet, i'ts caused from an older Viper4Android-Mod installation wich worked fine under 39.2.A.0.442.

Hi, i would like to notice you that the integrated music player in G build cannot play MP3 file. I used ASTRO file manager to access the music folder /sdcard/Music in the SD, then when i click on mp3 file the device says that "impossible to reproduce this file"... Is it a bug or there is another way to let play mp3 files?? thanks in advance...

I've been using this build and listening to mp3's on my new stereo bluetooth headphones with no trouble at all. I wish i could give you more help with your problem. Anyone else?

problem with windows media player: won't play *.mp4 files

my windows media player won't play *.mp4 files anymore.
it used to play them without any problems just click on the file and it will play.
now when I click on the file, it gives me an error; cannot play the file.
However, if I go to the library of WMP, it will play ok.
now the other problem is whenever I play any movie, not all of them will play in landscape although it used to play all of them in landscape
please help
You had installed some ROM and or program? Try to remember what you installed or changed the last time I was still working to find if it is a problem with ROM or program!
Failing that there are tons of media players out there that should play that with little effort..Check me if you cant find whats going on and i will hook you up..

[Q] Problems Playing Audio (Requires Reboot)

Here is the problem I'm having. I'll attempt to listen to music via any type of music player. I've used winamp, amazon mp3, Google Music, and also the stock music player. Each of them will tell me they have a problem playing the file I select but each program does show all of my music listed. My music is stored in /sd_card/media if that helps.
So if I reboot my phone and then attempt to play music then it typically works. I normally have to do this at least once a day. I"m using the latest Infused ROM but I was having this problem with stock rom as well.
I was curious if anyone else was having this problem and if there was any solutions that you might recommend.

[Q] Google play Music Manager

Seems like google play music manager messes everything up : wrong album art, titles, artists...
Do you have the same problem ? Do you know how to fix it ?
Pity, the GUI is nice.
Thanks for your help.
It doesn't always mess things up for me. It depends on the way the file was tagged. Most of the songs I've uploaded have worked fine. Sometimes Google Play Music doesn't recognize any of the id3 info, and I have to manually edit each song. Thankfully, it works fine about 80% of the time for me.

[Q] Music Player not working..!

I used the Megatron ROM for a long time and it was the most stable ROM ever!
But recently i encountered a problem where i cant play any of my music file though any music player including the Google Play Music.
I wiped my transformer and changed the rom to CM10 but still none of the music player can scan the music content on the device. These players used to work perfectly but suddenly all stopped. Can anyone think of any reason as to why this must be happening.??
Where is the music stored ?

Where is the music stored ?
Click to collapse
It's stored in /sdcard/Music.
Now i am having an error "android.process.media has stopped" whenever i try to open a music app (Apollo or Play Music).
