How do I get off-screen gesture feature like YU, OnePlus, OPPO, and Vivo devices ?
Drawing gestures on display while the screen is locked and off triggers certain apps like camera, music and so on.
Including the 't' sign to trigger flashlight.
I tried most of the third-party apps but nothing works.
I'm running Enigma V4.1, I also installed lineage 14.1 previously but that doesn't work too.
Maybe Its not possible in our device.
Our kernel don't support that feature...

On my other devices (which run AOSP kitkat roms), I can access my camera with my pattern lock still enabled. All I do is swipe the pattern to the left, and the camera UI opens. It allows me to take new photos, and review them, but doesn't allow me to access any photos that were taken before the screen locked (i.e. it's not a backdoor to get past the lock and look at all my pictures). I always loved this functionality.
On my vzw M8, I cannot replicate this functionality. If I swipe in the same way, I just get a blank page where a widget can be added. Looking through the available widget options, I don't see anything for the camera. I even installed Google Camera just to see if that would make any difference, but no.
I know that the M8's gesture functionality allows something very similar (long-press vol-down while screen is off to launch directly into camera). I'd love to use this, but the gestures are all-or-none. Since I find the other gestures problematic (double-tap to wake, for example), I have all my gestures disabled.
So is there currently a way to replicate the AOSP locked-camera functionality on this device? Or do I simply have to wait for an AOSP rom?
For what it's worth, I'm running Skyfall 1.3
EDIT - story of my life... I figure something out just a few seconds after asking a question, even though I've been trying to figure it out for days.
Turns out I can swipe down (i.e. to hide the pattern lock), which causes the camera icon to appear at the lower-right corner. Then I just need to swipe up on that icon.
Nice work, Byron
Never mind. Didn't read your post close enough I guess. I see you know about the gestures.
Hi there,
If you're like me hating the OnePlus red non-centered ambient display, the Xposed module "Enable Ambient Display" works on our device, despite it not being made for.
So you can install this, freeze the stock com.oneplus.aod app and turn on the Ambient display in the room settings and you'll get the stock AOD when notifications arrive, as well as the different customisations in the module's APK.
Only thing that is not working is the lift up feature, sadly. It does however kinda work when in the test mode from inside the module APK though...
Where is it?
I'm very interested with this app in Playstore, however the developer stopped maintaining it since 2015 so it is not fully working with Android Pie (service gets killed by Android after running for few minutes).
I wonder who can make a app based on this awesome idea? It's called Smart Rotation, the floating popup whenever you hover hand over proximity sensor lets you quick toggle rotation options is damn AWESOME!!!

Hello, I just bought new Z6 and satisfy enough with the stock ROM. Current Firmware is 17.1810.2005.153.
Just 1 feature I need most, that is fingerprint gesture.
I see some custom ROMs here have this feature.
How can I enable this on stock ROM? Is there any magisk module for this?
Thx
Which gesture do you mean exactly?
With stock ROM there's only one fingerprint gesture available, swipe down on the fingerprint reader to drop down the notification area & quick settings.
This can be found under settings - advanced - gestures & motions - fingerprint gesture.

Exactly that feature i meant.
Other custom ROM has enriched this feature with addition gesture such as: swipe left, right, double tap, etc.
I have this feature on my old phone and very helpful.
I wonder if there is addition to stock ROM which is quite satisfying for me at this time.
Running Noble Rom 2.0 (based on Android 12 and One UI 4) on a Galaxy Note 9 (Exynos).
I doubt it is possible using the built-in functionality, so does anyone know of 3rd party software that would allow the lock screen (whether swipe, PIN, password, fingerprint, etc.) to be enabled ONLY when I'm not at my desk?
It could be a toggle tied to a shortcut/icon on my home page. It would be great if it were somehow tied into physical location, etc., maybe using Tasker or a similar Android tool.
Thanks.
Edit: Looks like it might be as simple as Settings, Lock Screen, Smart Lock, and adding my house as a "Trusted Place"...
