I have a Xperia z5 E6653 lollipop 5.1.1 I have restore the drm but some time after watch a video in YouTube black screen but I hear the sound and the video not record like drm dissappear and must to reboot my phone to normal again

What the hell ???
It does not have anything with drm.

Really i don't know why try to fix it but nothing only if reboot my phone why do this YouTube and after not working the video recorder I don't know and work fine before one day black screen and only sounds maybe wrong some I download or some else

Flash new firmware in flashtool and wipe everything.

Yes can do that.. But that is not that the only way.. Better reboot my phone.. And I want a solution.. Only hear for flash firmware and wipe everything.. I know that but try to found another way more stability

There is no more stable way than new firmware.

Yes understand but if put new firmware maybe after do the same again and try to found a another way if a can.. But is good idea from new firmware

sound problem after 5.1.1 update

i have s6 dual sim international version SM-G920FD
after updating to 5.1.1 i have weird problem
if i play music then lock the phone ,the sound become noisy and repetitive and the normal speed is changed
this happens with the phone speaker and the head phone(lt channel)
i really don't think its a hardware problem as if i turned the lock on (even if i don't unlock the device just keep the screen on) the problem disappears then come back after the screen turned off
i did factory reset but nothing changed
help plz

Does this happen with all the music players or did you just notice this with the stock samsung music player? If yes, try out poweramp or google play music and check whether the issue still persists.
This is apparently an issue for 5.1.1 update. I have been experiencing this issue and it is very annoying. I cleared "Music" app cache and data, I went to recovery and cleared cache data, and I even wiped my phone clean and installed a fresh 5.1.1 OS. I thought the last one would fix it, but the issue reappeared a few days ago. I hope someone can find a fix for this soon.
I tried other music players and the problem persists.

Is that PowerAMP also got this problem?
I have tried Power Amp and it's working great so far. I hope it won't crash anymore and I'll purchase the pro version.
I'm on 920f and luckily I don't have this problem (on h3g uk)

yes bro but little less severe
Try going to download mode and wipe cache. If it does not work do a full reset.

i already did that many times but it didn't solve the problem
i really need a way to format system and install a fresh one but i think that needs rooting and custom recovery with probability of not solving the problem

You don't need to root the system just to install a fresh OS. I did that, but the bug just kept coming back. If you really want to try a clean install, just download the ROM for your region/carrier and use Odin to flash. It doesn't require root and doesn't trip Knox counter.

What kind of firmware should i use?
Pre-rooted, flash zip via recovery or FTF flash via flashtool?
What type of flash?
Full flash or simply dirty flash?

i flash my Z3 and upgrade to marshmallow. Today i check my camera and use it to record video and found no errors like before. Thanks for you advice, its really solved my problems.
Same here all problems solved in .291 update.
"I assume you unlocked your bootloader. I was also having this problem before. Try renaming these files on /system/etc/firmware/
tzwidevine.b00 -> tzwidevine.b00.bak
tzwidevine.b01 -> tzwidevine.b01.bak
tzwidevine.b02 -> tzwidevine.b02.bak
tzwidevine.b03 -> tzwidevine.b03.bak
tzwidevine.mdt -> tzwidevine.mdt.bak"
Maybe someone can tell me what this fix does?
Anyway use it at your own risk, but it looks promising. mine working fine after renaming those files.

I Want DRM Keys

Hello,
I forgot to take back up my DRM Keys, that's why My some function is not working, ( Most Important : - My video Recording not working properly, hang while video recording after unlock boot loader) please give me solution. i facing this problem badly. Sorry for Bad English. Sony Z5 Dual E6683
Sorry to say, but you ****ed up your phone
Have you tried to install the DRM Fix? Maybe (MAYBE!) some functions can restored with that.
it should not be this way! if the kernel has DRM FIX
also you cannot ask around drm keys! the KEYS given to your device by SONY was ONE TIME DEAL! if you reinstate other Z5 keys! you will BRICK your phone!
if nothing get fixed, try installing custom ROM
can you try clearing data and cache of your camera app? camera common and video? I have unlocked boot loader and made a mistake with DRM backup, no issues on my end, as suggested you can also install custom ROM or get a recovery and install drmrestore.zip / drm fix.

Unable to enrol fingerprint.

I have the Z5 (non premium nor dual sim) and i have flashed a few roms onto it aswell as formatted everything using twrp recovery and still get this annoying message every time i try and setup my fingerprint. "Unable to read fingerprint. please clear some space on the internal storage and try again" or something to that effect. when i check storage it says i have over 10GB available. any help would be greatly appreciated.
i dont even get the fingerprint option my z5 is very strange

Are you from the US? Or did you flashed a US Rom? Because the American Z5 hasn't the fingerprint option.
It ain't an hardware problem, cuz the power button is the same on every Z5 so I guess if you try to flash another Stock Rom it shall enable it?
iam in the uk dunno the rom i flashed says central europe
dunno but ill give it a try should i flash any uk firmware?
You can try to flash whatever Stock Rom you want except the US one whom hasn't the fingerprint enabled.
It may, (Once again am not sure at all but you can give it a try) it may enable you fingerprint sensor.
I'm French and my Z5 Runs on Marshmallow Stock Fr, my FP Sensor is working perfectly.
When you have successfully flashed a new stock Rom check on Settings > security > fingerprint manager (screenshot linked)
I'm just trying to help you and give you somes tracks to follow, but I'm not responsible if you broke/brick your phone

You tried to flash some custom Rom? How about trying to flash a stock one?
If it's not working try to wipe everything via flashtool.
If those two answers don't help you to fix your problem, I unfortunately don't know what you can do more

Yeah I've tried flashing multiple custom Roms. 3 variants of the stock rom. And have wiped the internal storage countless times with twrp. So I'm kind of at a loss now. Is there any other way to clear the storage on the phone without trwp? That's my only other thought since twrp may not be wiping that partition or section of data or what ever it may be
As I said use Flashtool to wipe everything, also if you have twrp I assume that you're root isn't it, so may be the problem can be here, a bad manipulation or if you haven't restored your DRM Keys it probably come from this.
I know that on Samsung phones when you loose DRM your fingerprint sensors is lost so perhaps it's the same thing for Sony?
I don't know but you should try to wipe everything and if you still have the backup of your DRM Keys try to put it back and see if it works

This is the screen that I am getting. The phone did this earlier at one point after flashing a custom rom then after a while it started working again. I have also made a backup of the keys for my phone.
I will give flash tool another crack this morning and see how it goes but I have done it before so I have very little hope.
So try this :
-Flash a stock Rom ftf file
- Restore the DRM Keys
-Try to set the fingerprint
I didn't root my phone yet so I don't know if you have to restore DRM before flashing a new stock Rom.
Either way I think you know how it works so try this and when it's done come back here to tell if it's OK or not, I'm following this topic until you're fixed don't worry

Not sure how this worked but i flashed the stock rom over a custom rom (XZ4 i think it was) but all of my apps are there and the fingerprint scanner seems to be working now.
Ok good news, so try it a few days and see how your z5 handle it.
To me it seems to be good now we will see with time

May be it wasn't your phone, but the ftf file who was corrupted?
Don't we get fingerprint reader on custom roms then just on stock?

I don't think so, what's the point of having a custom Rom without that feature? May be it depends on the ROM you're using?
I'm pretty sure that fingerprint exist in both Custom and stock ROM
