I have a BUSH SPIRA B2 ( which is a relabled Archos 50 ) phone. I am trying to factory reset after Malwarebytes found a trojan in the Google Android Settings App. I actually think that the malware was installed by the factory that made the phone.
I am trying to access the Recovery Menu but when I follow the instructions supplied by Archos I seem only to be able to access the Factory Test Menu. I am looking for the "Wipe eMMC" as advised on this form but I cannot find it. Can anyone tell me what this menu in the photo says and can I use it to reset the phone?

Or can anyone tell me how to access the Recovery Menu in the Archos 50 Android phone. It is not as they say Start button + Volume up button.

Access Recovery Mode
To access recovery mode on the Bush Spira series start up with the Power key + Vol Up + Vol Down keys all pressed together.

Im trying to flash my phone via instructions I've read in this forums, and for a phone of the same make as mine (but different model # because different country) which is the the Samsung SGH-i780. The keys are basically identical, and other people on the forums have done this flash, but how they got past flashing step 8 I havent the foggiest. It says:
(8) Switch on the phone while holding the ENTER and FUNCTION buttons (ALT BUTTON)
(9) After the system DETECT message appears, connect the phone via USB to your PC
Where are those buttons?? I would assume it would be the half white and half black half white button (alt/function) and the normal enter curved down then left arrow key (enter). You can see the keypad here:

But I've tried it dozens of times and I get no such msg or nothing out of the ordinary. I've tried other button combinations also but to no avail. Please, someone, anyone, any ideas??? I desperately need to flash this phone, thanks!

I'm in big trouble right now.
I have a Google Nexus S GT-i9023 (GSM used in french network).
I tried some ROMs (CM, oxygen) then a decided to go back to stock ROM.

I didn't even notice the BIG MESSAGE about phone version... I'm an idiot.
Not I get stuck with my phone which don't wan't to start, even on bootloader (Vol +, Power button).
I get a black screen with some buttons turned on (the "search" one, and sometome the "menu" one) as u can see on this photo

Sometime, when I try to power on the phone while connected via USB on my computer, I can send some commands with CMD.exe and fastboot.exe but I cannot "fastboot oem unlock" it.
Please, does anyone can help me? I spend hours searching on Internet.

i have a serious on my samsung sm-A500H/DS, and i hope find solution with xda developpers.
I made an error while flashing my phone Samsung sm-A500H/DS yateley.gu466gg.uk made in VIETNAM, i used recovery.img extracted from the original .tar.md5 of samsung with flashify application, and after reboot, the is brocked only i see logo and self restart, (please see images)no volume + Home UP + power works and no volume down + Home + Power works. Please help me to fix my phone.

Hi, since the device can boot to the Samsung screen it's not hard bricked. This means it can be recovered. I would recommend downloading the stock ROM for the device from a site such as sammobile.com and then flashing it to the phone by putting it into download mode and using Odin to flash the firmware to the device.

Hi, first i thank you for your reply, the problem is i cannot make the phone in the download mode with power down + home + power. i think may be i must use USB JIG and see if it works.

my problem is my device has a root but i accidentally removed the root after rebooting it shows me (fast boot screen) i tried to chose all the choices there but nothing
worked it keeps rebooting and open fastboot screen again , after a while i searched how to fix the issue i found a way about install (MsmDownloadTool) but didn't worked
when i start (MsmDownloadTool V4.0) and see my device it says its N/a (waiting for device)
i reinstall the driver many times , and i restart my laptop , it didn't help
i tried everything . :crying

Did you actually boot into download mode or did you just try to get MSM Download Tools to work in fast boot mode? If that's the case, you need to do a full power off (hold the power button for up to 30-45 seconds) and then hold Power+Volume Up until you hear your phone connect to your PC (the screen will still be black though.) Then, MSMDownloadTools should detect the phone.

I'm in a terrible situation right now . i have AQUOS PHONE Xx SoftBank 203SH phone with Build S0026, Its a Japanese phone which I had rooted via Kingroot yesterday and uninstalled few System pre-installed Apps. rebooted the device and now it's stuck on the SOFTBANK logo. I tried Volume Up + Power on but nothing happens, tried Volume down + PowerOn which also failed to go in recovery mode. now the phone is not even turning on however while plugged in the charging cable and turn on the power button it shows failed to read the MicroSD card. Looks like I need stock ROM for this particular model so I could transfer to the MicroSD card and try again.
or if anybody knows any other workaround or any trick to bring back this phone live.
please send me a link if any of you have a stock ROM or custom ROM I want to try and fix this phone.
