So i would like to use screen Auto brightness but it sets the screen too dark or some times keeps hunting for a level ...
Any place to adjust the sensitivity of the auto brightness itself?
Right now i just turn the auto brightness off and set the screen brightness level manually

Agreed, I do the same as you. I always found that these auto-brightness functions don't work worth a squat. I don't know who is in charge of designing the sensitivity settings for it but they really don't work that well. So I always leave it on manual brightness setting and set it to my liking.

Hi,
Anyone know how I can up the brightness 1 or 2 notches from the default Auto Adjust Backlight settings?
Basically I love the light sensor i.e. auto backlight adjustment feature but in a normal room I would like the backlight up 1 notch from the brightness based on my ambient light.
I can switch off the auto adjustment but when I go out into the bright sunlight, I can't read a single thing on screen until I go and max out the backlight manually.
Hope some one can "shed some light" on this! ;-) hahaha.
How could i manage brightness level better ?
for example when i wanna work with the phone in dark place the brightness is very strong

Look for an app named "lux lite" on google play.
Go to settings, click display, and turn on adaptive brightness. This will dim screen in a dark room or make it bright when there's a lot of light.

Hey!
I have small problem with my phone. I have the automatic screen brightness slider on 1/4. The problem can be seen, when i go outside: the screen brightness increases to a certain level but when i go back home, where it is darker than outside, the screen brightness is not reduced to a level that would suit me, is still mega bright. Only in quick-settings, when i turn off and then again on automatic screen brightness, the brightness of the screen gets adequate to the ambient brightness. Im on edgars xtrestolite 2.4 with unikernel v9.1. What's wrong?
Is there any way to decrease the brightness of always on display?
Just cant see it in a settings.
Any thoughts?
I haven't noticed a setting but I have noticed that the brightness does seem to change based on lighting conditions so I feel like it's got a default auto brightness setting. It does seem somewhat slow to adjust sometimes though.
The screen should refresh every minute, so i think the interval for auto brightness is the same
This phone has always auto brightness enabled! under the sun the brightness rise up also if the slider is set to max in manual mode
There is a way to get real max brightness of the display without going under the sun?
