[Q] Passwords saved with fingerprints - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note5

On marshmallow, rooted, I saved a lot of passwords with the option to sign in using fingerprints enabled. Now, on nougat, rooted, it's blocking me from saving any new passwords. I am unsure of if using existing fingerprint enabled passwords still works or not.
Question : without unrooting, am I able to make the function work?
I recently learned that using Titanium Backup to clear data, I am now able to sign into my Samsung account again so I am hoping there's something magical I can do for my passwords.
PS. Screw you Samsung for waging war against your loyal power users.

Tell me exactly what ur trying to do. Screens shots. I use fingerprints now. If i can try something, i will.

The one that is asking for my fingerprint is a password that was saved while I was on MM, so it will work.
The one that's asking me if I want to save my login information, and mentions Samsung Pass, will take me to a screen saying that Samsung Pass will not work on rooted devices for security reasons (can't screenshot the message... For security reasons fml)
Samsung Pass is what I am wanting to fix.

There is no fixing it. Once you've tripped Knox it will never work on your phone, ever. Not even going back to stock is going to help. Secure Folder, Samsung Pass, Samsung Pay. All of it is a no go on Knox tripped devices.

Getting message from 6250

Since installing Cm10 yesterday I've been getting a message from this number every two and a half hours. Message is VZWNMN 1 or 2. Guessing its from Verizon and maybe the mn strands for Minnesota since that's where I am. Anyone know how to stop this?

Common issue. Login to your Verizon account online and delete your email from backup assistant. They will stop.

Apologies for necro-ing this thread, but I flashed from stock to CM 10.1, 3 days ago, and ever since I've been getting these texts from 6250: 'VZWNMN:n' (where n == {0-5}). Before I flashed, I made sure backup assistant+ was disabled on my phone, and I also went into my account 2 days ago and removed what is now called "Backup Plus for Media / Verizon Cloud", but it didn't make a difference:

The only remaining, possibly related setting I could find was for "email account setup", which I have just now removed:
I'll follow up to let you know whether this helps; meanwhile, comments are welcomed.
It looks like the "email account setup" feature was indeed the one that needed to be disabled: I haven't gotten another text from '6250' since. Thanks for the lead.

VSCO cam Stopped working on any rooted device "screenshot attached"

Hi,
So a few weeks ago "VSCO cam" the well-Known picture editing apps for android devices stopped working on my CM11 Nexus4
I contacted support Thinking It was A problem with their Latest update.. But, After a few emails they asked If my device was rooted
I told them that I run CM11 which By default is Rooted and that was his reply:

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So my questions is:
How is that even possible ? do the app scan the OS for root ?
and if that was the case, Is there a way to "fake-un root" the device or something ?
Are there any Apps you know that will not work on rooted device other than VSCO ?
PS : If this was the wrong forum I'm truly sorry I thought this thread fits here.
And i might want to add: is there a workaround or fix? I tried to unroot and reinstall and it still doesnt work. I also tried to reinstall backup via Titatium which was mentioned somewhere - didn't help... Neither did setting restrictions in privacy app management.I really like the editing tools and variety of filters (especially since they did cost money)
Customer service insists that it is their policy now... Can you maybe cloak the rooting status?
Ps: root cloak via xposed framework does not work...
Somehow it did work in the end... I dont even have root cloak any more and everything works fine. U just dont know why... ?

Service mode: NV rebuild gone wrong, need help!!

Hey guys, i posted in my device subforum but haven't been able to get any help. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. My device is an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S6 (sm-g920t t-mobile variant) running on AT&T/Straight talk.
Here's the deal: was having issues with my GPS not wanting to lock in my location, so I went into the dialer and entered service mode to do an NV rebuild. While in service mode I put my phone into my pocket, and while there it started changing settings around. I have no clue what all was changed, it there a "reset all" for the settings in service mode, or can someone tell me what I should do? My signal/data coverage sucks, and my GPS doesnt lock on at all. Can someone point me in the right direction? So far I've odin'd the factory firmware, bootloader, modem, and did factory reset and nothing has helped. Here's some screeenshots of some of the settings. Maybe somebody will catch what's wrong.

Did you find a solution? I have an s6 edge on straight talk and my gps suddenly stopped working

I flashed the GPS fix from the g900a tms Ron. I haven't had any more issues, but I'm not sure if it's from the GPS fix or what. You can try it, although I'd have Odin ready just in case. http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3331515&d=1432587798
Do you happen to use transparent weather widget or Google maps?

Try factory resetting your device, this will ensure that anything that you changed is not causing the issue.

lift password retry limit on encrypted Galaxy S4

My dad passed this summer,
he had a galaxy S4 which probably holds many photos I'd like to recover. I tried many passwords to unlock the phone but now it says that if I try two more times it'll erase the phone. The phone seems to require the password before booting. I saw the logo and now a black screen asking for the pass.
There is a good chance I can find the password if I can try multiple ones. Is there a way to:
Remove the attempt number limit?
Copy the encrypted storage on my computer and use some tool to try passwords and decrypt it?
I'm not a 100% sure the S4 has encryption, maybe I can lift the password if it doesn't?
A best case scenario for me would be to have a way to test passwords using command line, I'm a programmer and could make a small script to test combinations of passwords and numbers I know he used.
Any help or insights appreciated.

I join in this question. I, on the other hand, need to review my husband's phone because I think he is cheating on me.

lol, good one
I figure my post sounds suspicious, but I do fall into the category of people who want to circuvent security features with good intent. And with the full approval of my old man.
