Hi all,
I'm wondering if it is possible to get an alternative to the native datepicker widget:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The reason I am looking for this is that I think that the default widget is clumsy. Things like next week Thursday are a pain to find with the default widget, since the days are not displayed, and you can not see the relation of the different weeks.
While googling this, I found several app developers who found this same issue, and build there own solution (for example here and here).
Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the default widget and if there was an attempt made to do this?
Thanks.

An upgraded version of the analog clock widget from android 4.2 (as seen on the Nexus 4), with a ticking second hand!
It bugged me that the widget wasn't as good as the clock app, so I made this. Enjoy
Notes:
| The widget may cause a little bit of lag on older devices, as it is updating itself every second
| No ads or anything

I would like to ask if you are so kind and share the eclipse project for this?
I can't find anything like this for weeks.
Hey guys,
I had a quick question that I couldn't find in the forums, or on Google in general for that matter. Is there a way to change the way time is input on our device? For example, when I'm choosing the time for a calendar event, this is what I see on my Honor 8 running the latest version of EMUI:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Is there a way to go back to this method of selecting the time?
Thanks!
I've been annoyed with the same thing for a while now, and googling shows we are not alone. It seems to be something Huawei has done (at least on Nougat), and I'm afraid there's very little we can do short of hoping for a fix in a future system update.
Hi guys,
I don't know if I'm missing something or don't know how to configure it, but I've just got my brand new OnePlus 6 and it upgraded itself to Android 9. After that - or maybe ever also before the upgrade, I didn't manage to even notice - I have no icons on the notification/status bar when I drag it down:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I also think that next to my network provider name ("Nju") I should have some more data, shouldn't I?
I tried restarting the phone, disabling all icons in Icons Manager in the Settings and enabling them again, turning on and off the notch, but nothing helps.
Thanks in advance for your help!
So finally I did a hard reset and it seems to be fine.
How can I get rid of these two annoying settings suggestions? When I close it by the X button, it appears next time again. No, I don't want to add another email account nor use an experience.
When I deactivate the Settings Suggestions (or whatever it is called in English) system app, it goes away, but the settings search stops working as well.
