[Q] Ideos X5 Camera Hardware etc..

Hi all!
I've bought my Ideos X5 Android phone few months ago and I'm very proud of it! I've noticed people keep saying that Ideos' camera isn't that good as for example Galaxy S' camera (both are able to record 720p video).
So, my question is that why people don't like Ideos' camera? What makes the camera "bad" or "ugly"? Is the "problem" with camera sensor or something else? Is there any way to get a "better" camera for Ideos X5?

I visit for custom roms. Currently using note 4 mini (slim) by ddaemen. Would love it if we could get a lollipop rom so that this baby could get manual focus and shoot RAW photos which will be possible with camera2 api.

Hi, i visit Xda from the first day i got the K Zoom ( oct 2014 ) but now is the first time i am posting something. I am looking for development, hoping that someone will bring the Lollipop with the Raw support for the K.
And by the way, i am that guy that made on Youtube the cleaning video for the K's camera.

I've been searching in here for any real working Lite Lollipop ROM since the first time I got my KZ C111. I wish to use it with Camera2 API.
I wonder how to get Samsung attention to develop better ROM for KZ any idea?

Next phone will be Zenfone Zoom, hope it gets 6.0 before EoL

i'm visiting xda time to time to check custom rom developpement for the K-Zoom (so sad that the stock rom is so buggy (radio/modem and reactivity are the two big issues on my phone...). Back on the S4 for about two months because of these problems (phone not waking up on incoming calls, etc.) but i love my k-zoom !

What? Why are you talking about Asus Zenfone?. It has NOTHING on KZ!.

would be so cool to have raw on this phone :/ but it's dead in the water eitherway and the zoom mech breaks, but I guess every lens does.

Camera interface not as it should be

hi guys,
i just purchased a dual sim sony Z5, model #E6683, its a chinese variant. everything is fine except for the camera interface, its not like how its suppoosed to be, there is no manual mode options or anything that sort which the Z5 should carry, if any of you can share the proper camera APK and guide me how to install it without rooting, that would be great help.

This is known. All Z5s and Z5 Duals are shipping currently with Camera 1.0 App. They have yet to update to their newest app (which they demo'd at the release). They expect it to roll out sometime in Nov 2015, if not with the android 6.0 marshmallow update.

After a lot of comparison between OP 8 pro and the P40 Pro, I finally choosed and ordered the P40 pro !
One thing I'm concerned about is managing correctly the area reserved for the front facing cameras, wich is more important to me than running GMS
Did you find some good wallpapers for that ?
If so, can you share ?

Im interesting to buy 12s ultra. I have already saw it with unbox firmware but I wasn't surprised on camera performance.
If you got any update since then pls upload some unedited Day - Night fotos..

Look at the thread with the modded camera apk.....that project updates the camera on our EU rom with the latest instead of the 6 month old versions.
Software is much better now IMO.
