Hi. Anyone here experiencing this issue? I always get reverse charging status and it is stuck in the settings. I need to reboot the phone for it to return to normal. But after some time it will go back to reverse charging status again. I do not use other charger. Only the charger that comes with the package.

My phone is rooted with stock rom. The only changes are listed below
Froze bloat that was safe
changed bootanimation to stock samsung
replaced some apps with inverted versions of themselves (ex. google +, stock messaging)
Here goes:
I was using navigation and I noticed that my phone was off after I had finished. Nothing worked at all, I could not boot into recovery or download. I connected the phone to a charger and red led flashes and an empty battery appears. The battery was full. I could reboot the phone while on the charger, but it would shut off as soon as it got to the homescreen. While off, If I pressed the home button, the green battery would appear as if it were charging. From here I could boot into recovery and download mode. The phone will only boot into these modes while connected to the charger. Here is where it went bad. I attempted to restore a backup while the phone was on the car charger and my car charger got pulled out in the middle of a restore. No charger meant that the phone shut off mid restore. Now, when I plug in the phone, the red led appears and the empty battery with a circle inside appears and then goes away. This repeats itself over and over and the phone buzzes when the empty battery reappears. I can still boot into download mode but not recovery. If I try to flash the stock samsung rom via odin, it says that it passes, however upon automatic reboot the samsung appears and nothing else. After the samsung appears the phone just continues to buzz every 5 seconds or so as if it is trying to do something. Could it be a bootloop? I have done a ton of searching here and now I am resorting to help! Your time is appreciated and beers on me if you can help me get my phone back to normal.
What Rom/kernel were you using before this happened? If custom, which one?
I have another thread a few posts down with the same topic. I am going to delete this one. I was stock rom and kernel. For some reason the phone will not recognize the battery. I tried a new one at verizon and the same thing. I can now boot into both recovery and download mode when connected to the charger , but the phone shuts off as soon as it boots and shows an empty battery with a circle in the middle. Sometimes it does not make it through the verizon boot animation and sometimes it makes it all the way to the homescreen and I can make a few selections before it turns off. After flashing the stock kernel and rom in odin I believe i am completely stock, however I do not want to chance sending the phone into Verizon. I believe that I saw a thread before this happened to me talking about having to calibrate the battery in some way and it had an item to flash in order to fix the problem. I can not find it now. Any ideas? Now that I can access recovery is there anything else that can be done? Why won't the phone recognize that it has a battery? As soon as I pull it off the charger it shuts off. When it is on the charger it appears to be charging and the green in the battery appears to be at about 80% but the level does not move up or down at all. Thank you for your help ahead of time.
I CAN NOT charge my smartphone Charge only off or
Bootloader is the way it recognizes correctly when connecting and disconnecting the usb cable
Android System Started
On with the USB Cable: Indicates the battery icon as charging but in the state of the phone "indicates you are not ****ting", so disconnect and disconnect the cable does not recognize
On without the USB Cable: Does not recognize anything, neither connect nor disconnect
Loading with the Off: load very slow; By moment turns on and off the screen and shows the logo and then the percentage of battery
same problem but solved finally
Switch off your phone/ let the battery drained to null(recommended)
Try to start your phone at 0% to drain battery.
Screen will show 0% or plug icon.
Then connect charger then , then switch on plug of charger.
After few minutes screen will show battery at 3%.
Let it charged without disturbing, it may take more time.
In my case it take 1-2 days to fully charged.
After fully charged, notification light will show on speaker, then disconnect charger and turn your phone on.
Hope this will solve your problem.
If not repeat same procedure.
***Never turn your phone on/restart while charging it may create the same problem***
If the problem not solved, uninstall or disable "charging related noise problem" system app.
Problem solved
After trying to solve the problem by placing different ROMs and until flashing the Firmware the solution was the following
As the only way to properly load the phone was by bootloader mode; Leave charging the phone that way about 5 hours lego ignited the equipment even charging and that way began normal operation the equipment
Is there a mod for this somewhere? I'd love to stop the screen from coming on when plugging it in to my PC, my car for Android Auto, etc.
Even if you find a method, I'd recommend keeping it enabled, as it is currently the only way to know that power is flowing to the device. Without a charging LED or activation AOD, the phone gives you no indication of its status and could leave you frustrated the one time you plug it in and the other end of the cable isn't properly inserted.

I've had it on my phones in the past and LOVED it. I don't really need any visual indication of charging, I've never had any problems with plugging it in and it just charging.
Hey guys!
After two years, the battery of my HTC U11 drained so quickly that I had to charge it twice a day. I decided to replace it, ordered an original one and followed this guide: https://youtu.be/FY8ITVIkydM.
Now I have the following issue:
- Without the charging cable plugged in, it only shows the very first boot screen, after that, the phone shuts down
- With the cable plugged in, the phone boots normaly
- When the SIM-Card is inserted, it boots up, but after typing in the SIM-Pin, the phone shuts down
- Without the SIM inserted, I can start and use my phone (of course, without the cellular functions)
The strange things are: The battery value is wrong. When i plug in the cable after a reboot, it shows 58% and beginns to charge. If I charge until 80% and pull out the cable, the phone shuts down. After a reboot, Android shows 58% again.
Does anyone have an idea what the issue could be? I've checked the pin of the battery, it should be connected correctly. Does the system not recoginze the new battery and need a factroy reset?
Thank you in advance - cheers!
What happens if you use the old battery again?
Hi, I have a problem with my samsung SM-A750FN. When I plug it under charge I get the overheating error of the battery and it doesn't charge, moreover It turns on under charge via "recovery mode", but once turned on I get the warning that the battery is overheating and that I have to disconnect it. Once disconnected, 2/3 minutes pass and the phone turns off automatically because it is overheating.
I changed the battery and the dock connettor charging, and I did the "factory reset" via "recovery" and nothing changed, I "flashed" the last firmware via odin, but the problem still persists.
What should I do to fix this problem? Do you have any solution or someone who had had the same problem?
The phone is not under warranty.
I attach photos of the errors / warnings that come out to me
