I am abroad and I want to buy tablet samsung galaxy tab s2 8 inches LTE. But local version of this tablet doesn´t support european LTE frequency (especially B20 - 800MHz) is it only ROM problem? Can I change ROM after comeback to my country and everything will be ok? Or it is hardware problem that means that european version of this tablet has different LTE hardware than local (Singaporean)?

A few questions I haven’t been able to find confirmation on:
Does the in P5100 have an IR Blaster?
Will the stock ROM create WIFI hotspots?
Any notable differences in features between the P5100 and P5113 (besides 3G support)?
Will the 3G work on US networks?
- I have been told it will not work on T-mobile, is that true?
- What pay-as-you go plans are available here (US)?
- What about in the UK?

No 5100 does not have ir blaster only 5113
Yes stock rom can create wifi hotspot from setting and it connects other devices to your 3g network from your tab
5100 international version no ir blaster but 3g and telephony and sms (gsm not cdma) (complete bigggg phone and 3g and mobile internet)
5113 ir blaster with peel app to operate the ir blaster but wifi only no phone or sms functions
I do not live in us but i think any carrier which work as gsm not cdma , the tab telephony and sms and 3g will work, i think as at&t not verizon

the S Duos has two SIM-Cards and both work with WCDMA but not at one time. At one time only one of the SIM-Cards can be in a 3G net and the other could only do GSM.
Does anybody knows if this behavior is a hardware or software issue. My Galaxy is rooted, so software issue should be resolvable.
The background is: I want to have a dual SIM Phone for Japan. Japan only supports 3G - no GSM. So my hope is that the Galaxy S Duos could work with both SIM-Cards in 3G.

No LTE network? - Seems the N900 is the popular one with non LTE carriers.- Also depends on Samsungs mood I reckon! haha

We too in the Middle East have both the variants of the Note 3 (Exynos & Snapdragon). There is 4G LTE here but some areas are still on 3G, that's why Sammy has both models here.
I don't think the SD800 N3 will ever be available in India (Just look at S4) even though there is 4G in Bangalore. You could always import it from somwhere else like Qatar or Kuwait where there is no Region Lock on the N3.

Hello, I just bought this phone from China, because it has much better hardware than euroupe version. And I am wondering if there's a way to unlock LTE band 20 (800). Phone runs on Exynos 7580 processor.

I own a year old Samsung galaxy k zoom (C-111 India), recently i opened my phone and saw a piece of hardware where LTE was written, but LTE is supported in C-115.
Q1: Is it like LTE is supported by my phone, but the firmware is restricting it??
Q2: Can i use C-115 firmware on C-111?
