Samsung Galaxy S8+ Verizon Samsung Cloud - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

I just switched to Verizon from Sprint in order to get better coverage in my area. I completely forgot that Verizon blocks certain things on phones. Is there any way in order to get Samsung Cloud back. I used it all the time on my note 7 and s7 edge. Also is there anyway to get other things back that Verizon blocks on the phone. Is there anyway to install a stock firmware from Samsung that brings back everything. Can unlocked firmware be installed?

[Q] Best way to un-root a Samsung Galaxy S 4G

I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T yesterday and I want to sell my Samsung Galaxy S 4G but the store I usually sell phones to won't accept rooted phones. I doubt I ever go back to T-Mobile so the phone is pretty useless to me and I figure I might as well get some cash for it.
The last time I un-rooted my Samsung Galaxy S 4G I took it back to a ROM that did not have 2.36 on it and then updated through T-Mobile. Is this the best way to un-root the Galaxy S or is there another way?
The last ROM I have installed on the Galaxy S is Black Vahilla (Probably spelled wrong)
Yes. Flash pure stock ROM since you are on VB. If you were on stock ROM with root you can unroot with SuperOneClick.
Pure Stock ROM
You could also unlock the phone for use on other carriers such as AT&T. FB has a great unlock tool here.
Thanks! That should be easy.
We debated on which phone we would keep as a backup and since my boyfriends MyTouch 4G has less issues than the Samsung Galaxy S and gets better cell phone coverage we decided to unlock it.

Switch from Verizon to Tmobile or Sprint

I've been with Verizon since the 90's and want to stay with the Samsung Galaxy line. Currently have the Note 4 Developers Edition.
My research has shown that Samsung & Verizon are making it harder & harder to gain root. I believe in the near future, it will be almost impossible to root the Galaxy lineup under Verizon. I'm sick of only having 1 rom to choose from on the verizon phones that have gotten root.
For this reason alone, I'm seriously thinking about switching from Verizon to Tmobile, Sprint or AT&T. Seems tmobile, sprint & att are ok with us gaining root and using a ROM.
Can someone make a suggestion as to which carrier I should switch to?

Switching carriers with Verizon s8 plus

So I have a Verizon s8 plus. And I'm thinking of leaviing Verizon for a pay as you go kind of thing. Like cricket, straight talk, etc. So how do would I go about doing that? Also would there be any cons to that as far as updates?
You probably wont be able to get updates if u change firmware

I am using vz s8+ on att right now. Updates are not an issues. However, I can't get LTE most of the time due to band ristriction.

Verizon S6 - Moving abroad

Folks,
Im moving abroad and would like to use my S6 on a different provider, which I know the phone supports.
But I'd like to get rid of all the Verizon bloatware etc. What are my best options here?
Can I flash a Samsung S6 International ROM on my phone since I don't need the specific Verizon frequencies anymore?

Is it possible to flash T-Mobile firmware to Sprint Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950U)?

Hi there,
I was wondering if anybody knows or had experience with flashing Sprint Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950U) with other carrier firmware eg. T-Mobile or AT&T?
I have Sprint Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950U) Unlocked, however I'm T-Mobile customer and would like to turn phone into T-Mobile phone. Currently phone works fine no problems at all, but I do have some features missing due to my phone is not T-Mobile. I don't have Wi-Fi calling and I cannot use hot-spot or tethering features that are available on T-Mobile phones. Perhaps there are some other features are missing that I'm not aware of.
PS. I had successful experience flashing T-Mobile firmware onto my GS7 Sprint some time ago, wondering if there is a way to do the same on GS8 Sprint. I've already tried to flash firmware from T-Mobile for GS8, odin would upload firmware to the phone however after restart during installation i'd get an error at 32% then phone restarts without any changes.
Would really appreciate any help or advice.
Thank you in advance
