coming from this thread I wonder how to identify correct ROM version to flash onto my mobile. Everything I recognizued can be found in mentioned thread.

It is recommended that you only flash ROMs built for your specific model number.
Other devices and ROMs are similar but aren't exactly the same. Unless you find something that says "this" or "that" ROM will work on your specific device there is no way to know for sure if any ROM will work for you or not.
You'll have to do a lot of research comparing devices and all of their hardware to see what works, if there any hardware differences at all in any of their hardware components then you can't just flash the ROM, it would have to be ported to work with ALL of your hardware components.

after a week's search i saw somewhere that you can replace the modem.img file to make it right, in a hurry I replaced my modem file with one of the rom's i downloaded after that mtkdroidtools not showing the baseband and iemi

When you said you tried many ROMs, what exactly do you mean? Did you just download random roms that were made for other phone models and attempted to flash them onto your iclone? If so, you are screwed unless if someone has a copy of the original rom.

I have that tablet too. Also bought from Aliexpress. It is a real piece of crap: very slow and freezes often. It was advertised as a octa core tablet, but it is not. It is a quad core tablet. So i filed a dispute procedure at Aliexpress.

YOU can remove gapps and use microG, if you need play market/It save the RAM of your device which is very small( 1GB or 2GB)
I was given this scanner/phone and since I am fairly new with phone firmware, escpecialy MTK (never touched one). I cannot find any firmware to replace what is on the device. I do not need to use the scanning functions on it, just looking to make it a suitable extra phone. I do have the SDK but being a novice and not enough time to devote, I doubt I can create firmware myself. Any advice as to where I could look for another type of firmware to put on it or how to fix what is on the phone now would be appreciated. This is the basic info off of it.

I hope that there is a way for install a generic compatible ROM, so that I can upgrade it to a higher android, so that it is fresher, cleaner, faster and without default apps already installed.
I accept links to custom roms, tutorials, anything, then I'll take care of doing everything. The important thing is to have a compatible ROM that does not brick the tablet.
