Anyone have this WiFi bug? I've not had WiFi on except for a few mins at work. I keep it off cause of unlimited data. Weird bug,

Just looks to me like the software hasn't reset the usage for it yet, give it one more full charge and see if it resets.

The reason I say that is mine showed like 1700 hrs for something once I first got it, after a full charge it went away.

I understand but this was yesterday, just hoping it doesn't cause a battery drain. I've also got it set to not scan for WiFi also.

Christ, you guys are getting better upload speeds than I do down lol. 4g sucks in my area I guess. NH :-/
I get pretty consistent at 10Mbit+ here in Ann Arbor. We've had LTE lit up for well over a year now, so the market is pretty saturated with LTE phones.
When I first got my (lol)Charge, I would routinely pull 22Mbit+.

BTW IME these test use a lot of data, I never opened the speedtest app before I tested this and after I ran just one test I went into usage and check the usage for just this app and it was almost 20MB - just for 1 test!
This showed up one day and i havent been able to figure out what it is and how to make it go away. It was there since GB and transferred to Ics.

haha damnit. Well back in GB to me looked like a battery with a check mark. I thought it was battery saving or widget thing. I've never used the alarm on android until recently.

If you are rooted you will be able to use apps which will allow you to use tethering although T-Mobile disabled it.

Anyone have any ideas on why my phone's awake time is almost an hr more than my screen on time? I keep WiFi on all the time and I get notifications from kik, tapatalk and gmail and occasionally Facebook but I didn't think it was that much. I'm new to this app and don't really know what it all means and how to tell what is doing what on my phone. I just want better battery life.

Follow the advice above for a better answer but looks to me like you have no signal where you are. Try airplane mode with WiFi on..

look at this, its practically the same drainage with screen on as it is with screen off! nothing out of the ordinary either. it's all android system. wtf is going on here? this battery kind of sucks a lot.

Same here. Drains 3% in 1 hour.
when i checked before, i legit had 17% usage when screen on, and 18% usage when screen OFF!
are you kidding me? wtf is going on in the background that's causing MORE battery draining when idle than when the damn screen is on?
i really hope the battery doesn't suck THAT bad in this phone..

oh sorry I was using gsam battery monitor. regular settings don't have it. I've since uninstalled because i know battery monitors always run in the background so i wanna see if uninstalling helps any.
