As the title suggests, I'm currently using an LG K4 K121 (Canadian). Runnin android 5.1.1 with the stock LG K12110f firmware.
So far I'm deeply regretting switching from Samsung to LG. I haven't had any luck rooting my last few phones.
The Galaxy SIII back in 2013 was a breeze.
So far, the G3, G4 and K4 have been a b***h.
Is there a method for rooting and flashing TWRP?
Please tell me it's possible.

I've had Samsung's all my life and I got a great deal on this LG K4 / k121 the deal went away after putting a boat 4 days of work into trying to root it and every YouTube video you watch is the same thing download kingroot install kingroot there's got to be some type of permission privilege settings that we can disable I have no idea I've always had rooted phones and I want to keep her because if not you get crap apps anyway if you find anything host away

I have the same phone with Koodo Mobile. I have tried all sorts and I don't think think there is a way to root one or unlock the bootloader. (Plz prove me wrong someone)

PLEASE do not respond with all of the methods listed here. I have tried them all. USB debug with the download this, unzip that, com port 41, towelroot, kingo, stumproot... you name it, I HAVE TRIED IT... no success... I am unfortunately stuck on verizon's WONDERFUL new jail cell of a software, android 5.1.1 otherwise known as the dreaded VS98535B.. I cannot figure out how to root, downgrade, flash or anything. I will attach a screenshot of the software 411 with this thread. ANY IDEAS are very much welcome and appreciated...
Also having the same issue with my LG tablet also (fortunately it isn't a verizon product). The tablet is the LG V700 Gpad 10.1. I will also attach a screenshot of its' software info as well. cannot figure out a root for it either and have employed all of the above mentioned methods.
What really suck, both the phone and the tablet were rooted before the upgrades rendered them paperweights...

yes you should be able to root.
Rooting the US model S7's requires an engineering bootloader, which is less stable and only charges to 80%, unless Oreo has changed that.

How I've tried and nothing. Thanks so much.
I've tried to root oppo f7 a while ago but failed and ended up bricking it.
Now i'm here again to have a second try at it for one reason: FINALLY Unlocked the bootloader. It was as simple as going into developer mode, developer settings and turning on OEM unlock.
It even gave me a warning for protection so it's definitely legit! bootloader unlocked, what's next?

did you get anyway to root the device yet? If so let me know and also I also have the same bad software rom worst exp problem, so is there a custom rom for oppo f7? if there is kindly help me too!!!
