Odin firmware flashing always fails - Android General

I have a Galaxy note 10.1 running kitkat 4.4.2 (GT-N8000)
Yesterday i was browsing the internet when suddenly the device decided to shut down and went on a restart boot loop where it would show the "Samsung galaxy note 10.1" screen for a while and then reboot and re-show the same screen
i have tried entering recovery mode but the tablet keeps restarting without end the only thing i can access is download mode
So recently i tried flashing using Odin but when ever i try to flash any file it shows this error
Code:
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..

I have tried flashing a stock recovery so i can try and wipe the current data
I have tried to download multiple stock roms from jelly bean to kitkat which all ended up failing
I have tried flashing the tablet with a "Repair rom" which contains the BL AP CSC and Modem files
i think that if i can still access the download mode that there is some hope to recover?
Any solutions?
Thanks in advance.
If i posted this in the wrong section forgive me i have just started out

Getting Galaxy Ace GT-5839i back to stock

I tried putting on the jellyblast rom for the GT-5830i onto this phone (I heard they have the same hardware) but unfortunately it did not go so well and now the phone hangs at the Galaxy Ace logo screen. So now the problem is getting the stock firmware back onto the phone - I have downloaded the Vodafone stock firmware for the phone (UK) from sammobile.com and tried to flash it with Odin.
I have tried with Odin v1.85 and v1.87 although they both fail:
Code:

I am using the totoro_0623 pit file as per this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1811196 and then just using the PDA file. I check the Re-Partition, Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time boxes when I attempt this.
I found another method also using Kies through "Firmware upgrade and initialization" - I add "GT-S5839i" as the model name (which it accepts) and my S/N but then it complains that "the model information that you have entered cannot be verified; the device initialization cannot proceed".
I am at a loss as to what to do now, tried using the back ports on my desktop and the supplied USB cable to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Additionally, in recovery it mentions that it fails to mount /system, and rfs format fails when wiping data and cache whilst in recovery.
ornottin are
With a different cable it gets to the modem part of the flashing then bsod's my computer with pfn_list_corrupt (happened twice in a row at the same point). What is going on here?
Problem solved, google "Galaxy Ace S5830i Flasher& PIT file 100%work" if you have the same issues as me.

Boot Loop after failed root

Hello, at this point I don't care about rooting my phone. I would just like to fix it and restore it back to normal.
I have a Galaxy S6 Edge. The thing that's wrong with my phone is that it's on a boot loop and it can't go into recovery mode (or boot loader what ever its called). It also says when on the Samsung screen boot loop (RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING)
My model is G925TUVU2COF8 and it's running 5.1.1. Every time I try to flash my firmware in odin 3.10.6 I always get this:

Can somebody please help!
if you need your phone fast fixed, you could flash custom recovery and adb push a rom, for the odin problem idk..., after latest bootloader got myself a strange odin flash bug if i try to flash a stock rom :/
"My model is G925TUVU2COF8"
That's not the model, that's a firmware version.
Your model number is the G925T. Which is the tmobile S6 edge. The F8 firmware is 4 months old, which is probably why it's not working for you, you may unintentionally be trying to downgrade. You need G925TTMB3DOI1 firmware. You can get it here http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/56137/G925TUVU3DOI1_G925TTMB3DOI1_TMB/ or google for a faster dl source.
It's fixed now!!! Thank you so much!
Sboot.bin is the bootloader part of firmware. Only the latest firmware will fix this issue. Glad your issue is now okay.

Can't update vie SmartShare - device unknown.
Please help!
First a question since I am not very familiar with models, is the device G900F or G 920F, because fw is for 920 and title says 900.
Put phone in download mode:
Vol down+Home+Power button
then Vol Up to confirm Download mode after entrering dl mode.
In Smart Switch go to more, and choose Initialization from drop down menu, type model e.g. SM-G900F, s/n from back of the phone, and wait till it finishes download and flashing.
Then try flash TWRP and rom through Odin.
Hope that helps.

[Completed] galaxy S6, bootloop, odin - write operation failed.

Hi. i have recently acquired an Samsung S6 SM-G920P. it was rooted with 5.0.1 and it was freezing and restating.
So flash/stock firmware marshmallow but it got stuck at optimizing apps. I restarted the phone and managed to skip it (don't know how). After all the process of name, date&time zone, wifi config, etc...about 10-20min it freezes again and restarts. So i tried to update the software via otta, and android gave me a 19mb, but the same happened, it got stuck at optimizing apps.
After that it began to freezing more and more often. I tried to change the firmware to another version with odin, but now odin shows an error (write operation failed). I installed TWRP and wipe dalvkin/cache and cache and after that, it started to boot-loop and mi stuck on it.

N8010 stuck in boot loop displaying Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1

Hello,
My tablet was working fine, but the other day when I turned it on this happens. I can at least turn it off when connected to the charger.
It will not boot into recovery. I just get the android on his back with red triangle and No Command.
I can boot into Odin download. So I am trying to install CF-Auto-Root as a precursor to installing CWM Recovery to see if I can boot into that recovery. I have downloaded and installed Odin, and downloaded N8010 version of CF-Auto-Root (CF-Auto-Root-p4notewifiww-p4notewifixx-gtn8010).
Using Odin to install this .tar file seems to work (I get Pass), but auto reboot, or manual reboot into recovery is still the same. Isn't booting into CF-Auto-Root. This is the Odin log;

Is it supposed to look like this?
Any ideas what I may be doing wrong, or anything I can try?
Thank you.
