Looks like Samsung removed call recording - Had this feature on the note 7 and s6 edge+. Such a shame... unless im missing something or its hidden. Do you guys have call recording built in? Let me know

P.S : There is also a PRO version of the same , the difference is it has no ADS.
But you need to switch on the speaker phone for you to record and another downside of this app is you can't mute the call when you are recording.
Some times I need to mute and just listening some of the meetings.

are you serious?? you have to record phone conversations with the back speaker on? and did you mean that you "cant" mute the call while recording?
Necessary trick
I think this "trick" is necessary to record something at all.
Normal apps on normal phones (no unlock active) have no way to interface with the WP7 telephony app, they even don't have access to call logs ...

Thats right you can't mute while recording because the mic of app will be muted to .. So this app will work only if the speaker is ON and mic is ON as well.
Although apparently you can call yourself to get your voicemail then initiate a conference with another person, which will be recorded. Dunno if it's true. I thought voicemail had a pretty short time limit.

If you still have an issue with WP7's limitations, contact Microsoft. Don't whine on XDA because it does not have the features you want. Act like an adult.
I cant find a call recorder that records calls just like the one integrated in the dialer used to on ICS. Does anyone know of an app or something flashable that can achieve the same results? I cant seem to find one.

Don't know what you mean by "just like". There is no app that can be added to the dialer. Devs used to activate the built in recorder in their roms, which was deactivated by Samsung. I wish there was, because i want a dialer recorder for Rogers ICS.
I know Call Recorder does the trick on ICS but I haven't tried it on JB yet. And it shows a stop/pause button in the call dialogue. But it records every call automatically once it's running.
These settings needed to be applied to
Open CallRecorder, then hit the menu touch key (lower left corner, next to home), and then go to Preferences and change the Record calls from" option from "Kernel with 2-way call recording patch" to "Standard Android API"

For me, it worked without flashing the CWM zip from above quote.
Only problem i had with it is that i could never fully exit and quit the app unless i restarted the phone.
Also, try and use search a little more next time , it's amazing what you can find searching for "record calls skyrocket".
Good news is that with the WanamLite ROM and KTweaker you can actually get call recording working perfectly on an ATT SGH-i337, well almost perfectly. They've added the option to the in call menu, but I'm not able to find a way to enable it by default. I would like to record all calls and periodically clean them up, similar to how Call Recorder functions, except that this doesn't seem to be possible even with WanamLite. The normal go to options for recorder apps aren't doing any better on Wanam either. Is there a way for a developer to build a Call Recorder like app utilizing the exploit for call recording in WanamLite?

Samsung is really cutting corners on note edge.
on my note3, she speaks out the phone numbers,
and you can also say "alarm stop" to stop the alarm.
on note edge, you need a app for that.
just search caller annonce on play store.

Completely incorrect they just moved everything around to make you explore the device. I believe the option you're looking for is located under "language and input" then scroll to the bottom and select "read notifications aloud". I had the Note 3.....before getting this actually and all the stuff that you say it doesnt do it does just fine. If its not working for you most likely you jumped the gun and removed S Voice. S Voice is required for all voice commands even though your not using it freezing it or removing it will cause voice commands to stop working. Ex. Camera voice commands, music player voice commands, etc.
Read notifications aloud setting also has been now removed from Note 5. This is frustrating.
