I can't find any way to change proxy settings for mobile data. I also looked up for an app to do so but no chance. Any workaround or suggestion on how to do it ?
There's is dedicated option in WiFi menu but not in mobile data menu.

Hi my phone is a w008 and i have simple mobile and i do everything the site tells me to do to turn on my internet but it doesnt work and i also factory reset my phone and changed the apn to default but nothing is working! please help
settings -> wireless & networks -> mobile networks -> check "data enabled" ?
Please always include a relevant thread title.
After upgrading to ics, i cannot see the "network" option in the settings menu, which means that i cannot select mobile provider manually, i cannot enable data roaming abroad etc.
Any idea where it went??
When you are in settings, tap on the mobile network icon to go in specific settings.
Got it. Thanks!
Hi, I use normal home wifi, and mobile wifi with DATA PLAN when I'm out, is there an application where we can set different access restriction for each one???
That is different settings for: DATA / WIFI xxx / WIFI yyy, or just treats certain WIFI Hotspots as Mobile Data like in some new JellyBean Data restriction
Please feel free to move this thread to the appropriate section

Your question is confusing. You would use your home router settings to set restrictions and encryption keys and Android settings in the Wifi Hotspot area to set the WEP key and restrict which devices can access your phone's mobile hotspot.
Or did I miss your question?

Android Firewall from the play store will do the trick, but only for WiFi and data. There is no app that'll let u set restrictions for multiple WiFi access points, sorry

Thanx, guess I should youse this in conjunction with jelly bean data restriction, but it would have been great if it can be done from one application
Hi all,
with my former 5T and 7T I was able to automatically switch back to mobile data when there is no internet access on a wifi connection. Theres a setting called "Switch to mobile data automatically" in the wifi settings.
However, there is no such option on the 8T.
Any ideas?
I think what you're looking for ((MAYBE)) is under setting>WiFi & Network>Dual-channel network acceleration. Turn on the top settings...at least.

I've spotted a setting there to use mobile data all the time, even when WIFI is used for a faster switchback. This option also exists additionally on my former OnePlus phones. So it's not exactly what I was looking for.
I'll try out that option to use mobile data when there is slow or unreliable wifi settings. Maybe that covers it and OnePlus just moved and renamed that setting.
