I have a little bug, but i want to fix it, coz i found on this rom, the best rom for me, fast, smooth and stable.
The problem comes when i try to playback an audio on whatsapp, it freezes, dont play nothing and after 2 sec, whatsapp force closes or back to whatsapp main screen. It happens sometimes, not all the time, and usually is when i playback one or two notes before. Its annoying, but i want this Rom, the 3.0 lite, not have major bugs, not as z5 style 4.6, that have camera issues, for example, the third party camera app as Instagram, cant use Boomerang coz the rom dont have some camera libs, then it force closes. And cyanogenmod 13 dont have the camera libs, and audio distors. KitKat is more stable and fast i think that lollipop, and the camera is highly superior to lollipop.

I have a problem with the camera and video hardware to all custom firmware which are based on cyanogenmod kernel. Camera work but does not move and hardware video on player don*t move. On firmware are based on stock all right work. I've tried everything hboot and recovery but result is the same. Install Miui 2.1.6.08 then install kernel UNITY_V9_2.6.35.14 is the only variant when camera well works but hardware video does not work at all. I hope to help developers!

I've got this very same issue. I was on MIUI 1.12.30 and on Lowveld's Reaper v1.1, both really good ROMs but for some reason, the camera preview window freezes after a couple of seconds. pictures come out ok though. same thing when playing videos either through a browser or even a local video file saved in the sd card, the video playback would freeze after a couple of seconds but the audio is normal.
if viewing video camera captured in program mode it shows normally but the problem remains
If viewing video touch on the screen then video moves and camera too

i have got the same problem here.
tried to use Reaper 3.0 but got the camera problem.
miui,endymion and blindice works well with the camera on my DS.
i got hboot 2.00.0002, sense 3.0 and S-ON
the app "pudding camera" works for me as a half solution, since it only takes pictures and no video, but the camera is working with this app.

I am on reaper v3 and my camera and videocamera are working.
UNfortunately i just don't get the same good pics as with sense roms.
It's a real shame, as i take many pictures and at the same time i couldnt live without reaper rom. it's just perfect, apart from the camera thing.
im using lg camera and sometimes get better results, but in low light the noise is really unbearable. tried different settings of iso and stuff but nothing.
i dont know about developing, so sorry is the question is dumb but using a different kernel would help?
Many people say, camcorder works with the new CM9 05032012 update (i have tried both devs versions).
When I start recording, everything is ok, but when i wanna stop it, camera app is crashing... I can see the video file, but I can't open it. It isn't playable...
Any suggestion ?
List your setups/problems you have so far with this build here. I have everything at default globally, and certain apps (contacts, youtube, etc. at Tablet.
My only issue is that camera is broken. OP has not listed camera as one of the problems on the rom however.
The camera and video recorder work fine for me. Now the camera is different as it does not take the full screen pictures but it is still good.
Did you do a clean install?

Almost all the stock cameras for 4.4 including Camera KK from the Play Store have crashed on me on the initiation of video recording with the front camera.
I'm rocking with Sultan's 3.4 kernel ROM, May 25 build.
Other then the issue, if anyone could recommend a fine minimalistic camera app that might be worth a try at, please let me know. I will shower you with the love of a million llamas.

Is anyone else having problems with the performance in Snapchat & Instagram?
Especially the camera / zoom is literally unusable due to lag.
Also heavy lag occures in Instagram (swipe right/left animation)
Huawei's own gallery app also feels very very clunky!!
I know some apps are not optimized properly, especially Snapchat, but I switched from my S7 and I never had these problems. Like I said the zoom feature in Snapchat and Instagram is literally broken.
I did not do a factory reset yet because I wanted to know if there are other people who experienced this.

Yeah Snapchat is a total piece of garbage. On Instagram occasional stutters IIRC.
