would it take to convince samsung to update the j7 2016 to android n - Samsung Galaxy J7 Questions & Answers

As a long time android user i think samsung would benifet more by giving its customers and users some newer software.. what would it take to get samsung to update to android n.. i know somethings get samsung to update so im kinda wondering what would get them to update. I think after the 4th or 5th 6.0.1 update that has done it for me on 6.0.1..

Most of the OEMs only cares about the high end sections aka mainstream phones and meanwhile budget phones ⅓ get any update and even then it's just maintenance.

firmware launch depends on carriers, markets, and a bunch of other things so it's not really a surprise for that.

Samsung has begun quietly rolling out the long-desired Android 4.0 update for the Galaxy Note. When it arrives, it'll add the latest edition of Google's OS and the "Premium Suite" full of stylus S-pen friendly apps like S Note, Shape Match and My Story to your 5.3-inch phablet. The company is yet to confirm the launch, but several European users are already on the ICS bandwagon, with others expected to join soon -- but let's be honest, it's gonna feel like decades until that blessed notification pops up. ToasterDroid is a rom built for All Galaxy S4 models holding all the drivers for each one. This rom will be released for Galaxy S5 and S6 later
This rom is not released yet for any phones but will be released later
Hopefully this rom does well because I have spent a lot of time on building it and I'm not even done
Here is the Screenshot of the new Toast UI that will be included in ToasterDroid 1.3.3 (Marshmallow)

It's coming soon for Samsung devices but for other brands it will take a while I expect to have your device done by 3 months later.
Sorry for your inconvenience
The rom is being developed for S7 and S6 S4 and the sprint Asus zenfone 2

Nougat update is close!

Share all info on the Nougat update for the Sprint Galaxy S6 Edge here.
Now that it's live for European sets, the Sprint variant should be close to getting the 7.0 update too.
Excited, but with no more development going on I'll probably remain stock as I've been for at least a year now. I have a splash screen I want to get rid of that has remained from an old ROM.
We can still get root with newer firmware, correct?
Canadian users on Telnus will receive Nougat on April 10th. I'm thinking we'll see it a day or two before then.. I seem to recall Marshmallow having that happen while I was reading articles looking for Marshmallow at the time but it's all speculation for now.
On second thought, the Galaxy S6 is almost 2 years old so they might wait until the 2nd or 3rd week of April so you'll buy an S8 before you get too comfortable with your S6.
It's here!

When can we expect the Version 11 U1 stock firmware release?

I have a Galaxy A51. It was a Spectrum phone but has been unlocked. I can only get calls and text but no data when I transfer my number over to it.
A guy on reddit, very helpful, told me it was the firmware. He was walking me through the process of flashing the firmware to stock so it would not be tied to any carrier.
And at the last second I pointed out to him that it was already upgraded to Android 11. We were about to use the version 10 software.
He tells me that Version 11 of stock firmware for U1 has not released yet and I need to wait. Version 11 for U for stock has already been released. When do you think I could expect the unknown (stock) firmware to be released for U1.
This is what I am talking about. I'm sure y'all are familar with what I am speaking of, way more than I am. This is for U1. He says I need to it say Unknown but for version 11.
