how to install stock JB video player on kitkat? n8013

I would like to do it, i managed to get the apk of the stock jb player, but i cant install it
Hpw can i do it?

Hi,
Would someone be kind enough to post their stock media_codecs.xml file from their /system/etc folder please? Kinda screwed mine up trying to get the vr headset to play other audio codec types and didn't backup first! Doh!

Can some send me these files , or link a where I can get the originals for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Marshmallow 6.0 (latest)

Had the Gear VR working able to watch videos , But not Mkv ones ( no sound) so tried replacing the above , now nothing works ..lol
oh well , I assume replacing them with originals will fix it... yes I didn't back up ... it was 3am , forgot to do it ..
too forever to root the phone first.

Watch YouTube videos. A lot of video available for this problem. I faced same problem few days ago. I watched YouTube video.

1. Yes, should be able to work on LP 5.1.1 (unsure though, i use 6.0.1, anyone on 5.1.1 touchwhiz can help test?)

Ok, link is working now (in my office PC), but unfortunately it's not compatible with LP 5.1.1

I think only action memo works...and probably the apk took some preventive measures from it being ran below 6.0.1 touchwhiz...thats why the name of it is "New SNote apk"...
The link didn't work on your phone...probably because of the browser?

J7 NXT Android GSI can't play youtube video?

Hello, my name is Julius. I recently flashing my J7 to Evo X Android Q GSI by Luke using Project Spaget and my problem is I can't play a video on YouTube. Even youtube.com on browser it's still cannot play. My phone goes restart after I play a video. I tried other kernel but the problem still not fixed. And when I'm flash Pie ROMs like Pie Evo X GSI and Android Q Havoc OS GSI. It's still won't open YouTube. If you know what's the problem and/or how to fix it, let me know. Thank you.
I'm currently using BlackbirdOS One UI, YouTube is fine but I prefer using AOSP ROM.
